This place is hit or miss. The employees and volunteers are hot and cold. A couple of them you can tell really don't want to be there at all. DO NOT go on a Tuesday! There's a random lady who is there (Senior Day) and talks the manager's ear off- I know the manager's name is Katie just cause the lady has called her that several times during conversations. This random lady is LOUD and distracting. Idk if she knows her personally but she certainly acts like it. Very annoying and can't shop in peace. It's been so temping to tell her to use her indoor voice! I stopped going on Tuesday's because of that. Prices there are okay. Some things are reasonable and other items are overpriced- like many other thrift stores. read more

I have donated here several times over the past few months and shopped here three times in the same amount of time. It's a small quaint sized thrift shop which has two dressing rooms to date. They sell a decent sized selection of previously used/viewed movies/ DVD's. I purchased some 7 jeans here for less than $10 and two other pairs of jeans too for under $6 each. When jeans fit me well I am more likely to pay the extra money for them and gently used too. Selection of shoes not too large and barely noticeable. Their donation area is not in this store but located within this shopping center where you can obtain a tax exempt receipt for the donated items. I've found the employees to be friendly each time I've been here and I like the fact that this is a rather charitable business with it being of Hospice. Lastly as one of the pictures here by another reviewer clearly reveals, this business offers discounts on the days of the week. Example: Hat day. If you enter the store wearing a hat you automatically qualify for a 10-20% discount. Then there's senior citizens discount day and so on. I think that's fun and appreciate the savings. Lastly another neat finding I recently discovered is that this store is actively seeking volunteers to help staff it and help. read more

Not really friendly. I went to donate and since it was my first time going there I walked in the door to ask where I could donate items. Mostly small decor, lamps, pictures. I obviously was bothering them. Hopefully they were merely having a bad day. read more

This used to be a good thrift store until till they hired a grumpy old lady who pushes you around inside the store while she's trying to put stuff away and she's always got a frown on her face. Never happy I don't know why she still works there. Her attitude makes for a very unpleasant shopping experience. I try to go through the store as fast as I can so I can get out of her way. read more

Best thrift store in Turlock, the money goes to helping people who need hospice and not to sole company not trying to make a buck like Goodwill. The staff is all awesome and friendly. read more

I like going here but some of the ladies that work there talk really loud about people and customers after they leave. I'm sure they say the same stuff about me. But if I can hear about your total life while I'm in the back of the store looking at books, you need to adjust your volume. read more

I love a good thrift store and this one is great! I found wonderful little treasures in here while shopping for wine glasses to use for a project. The staff was nice if a little preoccupied since it was very busy. I was happy they offered to wrap the wine glasses in newspaper for me. Sometimes it can be difficult to maneuver around the stuff with a cart but I know they want to have plenty available. I also took some stuff in to donate and the guy was able to unload the boxes for me since they were heavy. I will be coming back when I have other stuff to donate...or just to shop. read more

My favorite thrift store in town! Great selection of men's and women's clothes, home decor, and kitchen stuff. Employees are friendly. There's two roomy dressing rooms. This place is always clean and so organized compared to other large thrift stores like goodwill - there's a smaller selection here but there's less junk to wade through than other, larger thrift stores. I've found plenty of silk, leather, nice shoes and jeans, and quality kitchen wares here. The prices are generally reasonable too, and they do have tag sales and sales based on the day of the week.
