I stopped buy to look for Masson jars. Found some . They were $4.44????? I asked they cashier if that was a mistake because Target has them for $1.50 and Amazon has them for 1.25. She said nope that the price. Are you joking . Then I found a old basket and they wanted $9. Wow . Then I found a little sundress. They wanted $15. So sad who ever is pricing these things like that. I guess I will not be shopping there anymore. read more

I always stop in at this thrift store whenever I am in Turlock. It is a smaller store, but I have found some treasures. The pricing here ranges from good to totally absurd. I am not sure who prices the items, but they need to reevaluate their logic. Last time I was here, another patron was purchasing a throw rug she thought was $25.25. It turned out to be $125.25! Neither of us could believe the price. After she regained consciousness from fainting, she decided against that purchase. I was very happy that my items totaled less than $6. Then I came to find out I could not use my debit or credit card for less than $10. Their minimum purchase is $10 for debit or credit. I had to buy another random item because I had no cash on me. I grabbed a toy that took me over the $10 amount. If they would bring pricing back down to earth, this place could easily get a 4-5 star rating from me. I am certain that will never happen though. read more

all of the workers are incredibly rude. everything is over priced. most of their toys are being sold at a regular store price. and the 10 dollar minimum spending limit for card is incredibly weird, I only wanted one them and then ended having to buy random things to meet their requirements. read more

I went here for the first time and loved my visit! great prices and nice stuff. I also want to show recognition to a worker whose name i believe is Albert. This place has a good, large , variety of items with good prices! One of the few true thrift shops left.

Most insulting prices in town, I know it's for charity and that's great. However, when you charge the same prices as TJ Maxx or Ross you kind of lose the incentive to deal with the usual downsides of a thrift store. You can find some decent stuff, but you have clothes that aren't even new that they are charging ten dollars or more. Whoever is in charge of pricing is being super unreasonable. Lower the prices guys! read more

I love this thrift store always find good deals and great items. From clothing and shoes to house hold items. Tuesday was half off day. So it made some deals even better. Usually I can walk out with many great items and spend under $20. Smaller store but they seem to rotate lots of stock. Staff is over all friendly. Store is clean. Nice thrift stirs. Isles are very narrow ; be aware it is Difficult to roam the store. Prices can be high on used clothes. $10 - 15 for a pair of used shoes. Looking at used fades dresses $13 - $8 dollars. Yet they'd are some decent deals. The staff is always friendly . I am the manager at Charity thrift. I just spoke to Gini A regarding the lie she believes she was told... It was a misunderstanding. She was not lied to. Our truck was full and we did want the table. We were unable to pick it up. I just want to assure our community that we are not in business to lie to people, we are here to serve our community. Charity Thrift in Turlock is a Godsend to our community. Knowing that all of the proceeds are used to help the homeless and needy in our local area is a big motivator for me to shop and donate there. There is a Great New Thift Store in Turlock Prices are very affordable the staff is very cheerful and friendly. The proceeds 100 percent go right back to our community. Do not trust this establishment to donate. I have a dining room table that will seat 4-5 comfortably. The table top is in mint condition, has a mosaic tile countertop with a southwest cactus design. Amy (the manager) told me last July she DEFINITELY wanted my table, but her truck was full, but will make room in her truck to pick it up in a month or so. She called me a few weeks ago and told me that she had not forgotten me, but in a few weeks she will pick it up. I didn't hear from her again, so I dropped by the store today to ask her if she still wants the table. She tells me she is no longer interested. Then why the empty promises? She lied to me and wasted my time. I thought I would do something good for her store and donate a lovely table, but Amy was not truthful to me. I will find a worthy charity to donate my table. And why did I donate the doll to you today? I will return to your store on Monday to retrieve the doll. Please, if you have donations, go somewhere else where they don't lie to you. read more

I love this thrift store! I go every Tuesday for their half off day but today was very disappointing. I usually never write reviews but what they did was unacceptable. I was waiting for the dressing room to open because a couple had gone in before and took around 20 minutes to half an hour in there trying on clothes. I was waiting patiently for it to open but some people were getting antsy in the line. Once the couple got out I went in and 5 minutes hadn't gone by when one of the workers bangs at my door yelling " YOU CAN ONLY TAKE 6 ITEMS. PEOPLE ARE WAITING AND WE HAVE A LINE." To me this is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. You guys need to work on what customer service is and training people better. read more
