The clerk took one look at my friend's ID and called it fake without even checking, then did the same to mine. For anyone who doesn't know, PA issues vertical licenses until they expire, even after you turn 21. This is basic knowledge for any store near a state border. Instead of taking a second to verify, the clerk was rude, dismissive, and told us to leave. I understand the need to be careful about fake IDs, but this was handled with zero professionalism. I selected one of those and commented to the sales person that their wine was priced expensive. He could say something along the line that it was how the prices worked due to convenience whoever, but he decided to ask me where I was from ( noticing my accent) and told me I knew nothing about pricing of wine. Then he went on a tirade about how much wine cost at restaurants and in the casino. I laughed in disbelief. He then clanged to the bottle, I was thinking he was deciding if he was going to sell it to me or not I deescalated the situation and he sold me a bottle without accident. I do not recommend this experience and bring your own wine to AC its really dead here and everything is overpriced for what it is just in general.

The store is quaint and reminds me of an older Italian bakery. I find Tomasello's sweet wines to some of the best I've tasted. I typically enjoy a semi-sweet wines but I really enjoy their fruit moscatos. My favorites from today are the Daffodil wine, the watermelon moscato, broomstick brew, and the Reiner rose. My least favorites were the cookies and cream wine and the ports. I just don't think cream wines are for me. I generally like ports but these were pretty syrupy. Overall, this was not my best experience at Tomasello, but since my other experiences have been so much better, I'll be back.
