For a $45/year membership you can train all year on a 2.5 mile loop through the plants native to Chili, South Africa, Mediterranean, Australia and CA with blooms that change through the seasons. There's no gym that can provide the meditative immersion in nature that the botanical garden gives you. The path's surface is amenable to walkers. There's only an outhouse -so that may be a problem. We have invested a great deal of time and effort into our landscaping, so this project was especially important to us. Jose listened carefully to what we wanted, considered the existing landscape, and offered thoughtful professional recommendations based on his experience. The final result elevated the entire area and brought our vision to life. His crew was hardworking, professional, and clearly took pride in their work. We are very happy with the finished wall and would highly recommend Jose and his team.

After discussion and the fact that one of the large trees was cracking the cmu wall I got a quote to remove all of the trees and plants (except the roses). After accomplishing that I got more ideas with the clean slate and decided to paint the wall and add a vinyl fence topper for privacy. I am very pleased with the end result. After this project I hired Jose and his crew to do more work at another property. I would highly recommend him.

The limited hours of 9 to 12 on Saturday mornings hasn't worked for us in conjunction with other plans on the Oxnard Plain. I was glad to see that they were participating in Ventura County Farm Day, and staying open later than usual. We made it one of the definite stops we planned for the Farm Day activities. It was not what I expected. Good surprise! First, it's tucked into a neighborhood with green belts and a park, which gives a more spacious feeling than I was imagining. It's also not near any other farmland. What they do have is a number of vintage buildings, several plots where they're growing crops, some farm machinery, and more. There's a lot to take in visually. On Farm Day there was an added bonus that a gentleman was operating an old printing press, then giving away the bookmarks he made. They were literally "hot off the presses". He had a wry sense of humor, and it was fun visiting with him. We weren't able to pick up a stamp for the Passport 2 History program, as we never found the rep for the property. We were greeted by volunteers for the SEEAG group, the organization promoting Farm Day. Guess we'll have to go back to enjoy the surroundings one Saturday morning. I recommend this venue for families with kids, as there's lots to see, interesting backdrops for photos, and opportunities to talk about where food comes from, besides Ralph's!

We initially found him on Yelp in January 2020 and contacted him because he was a "one stop shop" for what we needed, as well as his excellent reviews. We had him extend and widen an existing concrete patio slab and continue the slab along our side walkway. The job required removing the stump of a huge eucalyptus tree, digging up a mature plum tree, a lot of hedges and a lot of wired netting laid by the previous owner. He also relocated our back sprinklers and installed a timer. He and his crew were quick and did a great job. We now enjoy spending time outside on our extended patio. Because Isai also does irrigation work and we were very happy with what he did for us previously, Isai was our first call when we needed work to fix a flooding problem in our front side yard caused by rainwater overflow from a neighbor's roof gutter. Like last time, he responded right away. His assessment of the issue confirmed what we thought needed to be done. He and his crew started the work on a Monday and they finished Tuesday afternoon! The work involved unclogging an existing underground drain to the street and installing a new one connecting the gutter to the street drain. It required removing/replacing a portion of concrete, removal of mature hedges and a mature Pygmy palm. At our request, Isai saved the tree and replanted it in another location of our front yard. It's Wednesday and so far shows no sign of shock. Isai and his crew also connected our own roof gutters to the underground drain to the street. We now have peace of mind from the next rain (when it comes)! Give Isai a call for your landscaping projects. We have recommended him to friends, family, neighbors and will not hesitate to use him again
