Very good gym, all the equipment which you need. Coaches are very good. I remember this place because I got my DBs at this place. Hurray!!!They have professional athletes as well as below average athletes like me. Mix crowed like this makes very good community. Spending time at athlete lounge and Coaches meeting every Thursday were amazing. CFDF people were the only friends I had in Indy. Very nice and helpful people. I will miss this place. From the moment I popped my head in I was greeted by members and staff and made to feel welcome! One of the owners Troy stopped what he was doing to come over and talk with me and answer any questions I had. I immediately set up a time to come back and take the introductory "Foundation Class". It was an amazing workout and I would suggest it for anyone! The coaches Pam and Troy are incredible and take great care to scale everything for your fitness level! CrossFit Fishers it very well appointed with equipment and is kept extremely clean! Again it's a very encouraging and welcoming place everyone seems very helpful and wants you to succeed! I'm having some of the greatest workouts ever and look forward to my next visit! There are lots of people posting negative things about CrossFit on the internet and I think they really don't know what they're talking about, if you've been thinking about it do yourself a favor and stop by CrossFit Fishers and check it out! They were starting some more crossfit-like group fitness classes at the time, but due to schedule and preference at the time I stuck with mostly BodyCombat and other Les Mills selections. The instructors are quality, and the gym is not fancy but exactly what you need. Where they have added Crossfit workouts, there is still plenty of classes for those who aren't into the WOD. Classes I've taken: - TRX - BodyCombat - BodyPump - and a few other Les Mills classes they don't appear to have anymore. I would love to try more including the Crossfit...will add to review if I do!

I attended the LesMills Body Pump promotion with a friend and it was a great workout. This was my…read morefirst time at thIS YMCA since it's construction. The faculty was beautiful two-story building. The class itself was taught by three instructors who alternated leading the class and assisting guests. The class lasted about an hour and all of the materials required (weights, bar, yoga mat, towels, sanitizers, aerobic boards, etc.) were provided. The class lasted about an hour and let me tell you I definitely felt it that day and the following days. It was total body too, which I appreciated. If I'm going to leave the comfort of my home I need you to work out my entire body (arms, chest, back, abs, glutes, thighs, etc.). The music also helped keep me motivated. One whack song and I suddenly loose the encouragement to workout. This class kept the music live and entertaining (so much so I did a little break down during the squats section!) Afterwards, you can go to the locker room and shower. Towels and soap are provided - you'll just need to bring everything else. As I was waiting for my friends I took a little self-directed tour, which reveals a children's play area, a pool, and restaurant on the first floor. The second floor had stationary machines, 3 basketball courts, and an areas where there looked to be personal training sessions going on. The building is a glass exterior so you had a nice view while on the second floor. For all the things they offered then membership fee of around $35 per month appeared very fair. I think there may also be a student/government employee discount - check it out! I enjoyed myself and will definitely be returning!
