I have used this gym for a couple years. Staff are nice for the most part. I do appreciate the actual squat racks with free weights that's a huge bonus that I'm glad this gym has added. Only thing I can really complain about is the hours. I am pretty sure most planet fitness' used to be open 24/7 idk if it was covid. I think it's odd that the hours are only until 7 on Saturday and Sunday. I work late so I need to workout late as I'm sure many people do. read more

Worst follow up and customer treatment of any fitness outfit to ever exist. Worst managed PF in the state. Owner and Regional Manager hide to avoid dealing with important matters reported. Refuse to address or contact customers. Ignore multi-year, longer term paying patrons. PF is a poorly run franchise operation. They have zero accountability and no one to report serious matters to. The corporate HQ (laughable) is a fraudulent set up. No one follows up. You WILL be ignored. A simple matter that could have been resolved easily was ignored & allowed to turn into a disastrous situation. Strongly recommend going elsewhere for fitness...a few dollars more a month is worth it. This flim flam operation is so unprofessional. And they hide behind "individually owned franchises" to avoid any responsibility. Yet there are zero consequences in place for owners who destroy their national brand. No penalties whatsoever. Complete and utter disrespect shown toward long term paying members . Beware. This Anderson location will lie through their teeth as well. High turnover in employees & managers. If i could rate -5 stars i would. Ive had memberships off and on here for years. I had been looking forward to starting back on a membership with PF for several months. However, i would like to start this out by saying i work with the public so im very much aware that people can have bad days but there is no need to be dismissive and rude to someone who didn't make your day bad. I walked in at 8:30pm on 01/02/26 excited to start a membership. I informed the guy working the counter i would like to start up please. He says "download the app, use your bank information, we close at 9". So needless to say I will be finding a more professional, kind, and courteous gym. I don't think I've ever been dismissed like that at a public place. Could be that im not passable as a heterosexual male... who knows. The gym is clean and well maintained. The lady that works nights disappears for 10-15 minutes and I have to wait to use the massage chairs and tanning beds. Not a huge deal but needs worked on. read more

Asked to have an annual fee of waived. We moved out of state and moving costs have crippled me. I have been coming to Planet Fitness since 2015, and I will always come back to Planet Fitness, mostly because of the customer service. I have account and routing on file, and a cc as secondary. i have rarely if at all missed any payments with this account. I feel as if a fee could be waived, because management does have that ability. It's a pure profit fee that could be waived. Doesn't happen all the time, first time I've made a request. I could hear the gm and assistant discussing it, and was told that " she couldn't", which she can, but they are choosing not to without any explanation following. But she did make sure to tell me my funds were insufficient. My Opinions of PF have changed after this interaction. $15 to lose a member, well done. read more

Not going to slander this place. Every PF I've been to has been a 2 star experience. They also took money for another month even though I cancelled before my renew date. They said it'd be 17$ and charged me the full amount. I will never go here again. There are better, uplifting, sanitary, and quality gyms for this price. I've met a few good people. I enjoyed my workout as usual. The front desk staff very pleasant and helpful. Only thing that caught my attention was the position of the stalls. So if I decided to shower and someone has the urge for a bowel movement I think that's awkward. Stalls should be distant from the showers just my opinion. Joined during their pre - opening sale. The price is right and the location is convenient for me. As a brand new club, everything is clean and all the machines work (except there is already a TV audio malfunction). Interestingly they cater to first time gym users and presumably an older demographic however there are lots of people there that seem to know their way around a gym and plenty that don't - so a nice mix. The big ass fans (seriously that's the brand - Google it) keep it cool while working out. TVs are easy to see and good variety of viewing offered. As expected when I go after work the place is crowded but the weekend was a little better. I'm going with 4 stars for now for the following reasons: 1) some of the front desk staff seem grumpy - maybe a lack of training, or maybe they hate their jobs already. However their attitude can certainly change a first impression. 2) Overheard at front desk to a tanning client, "make sure you clean the bed when you are done!" The advertising is misleading. It says $29 to join plus $10 per month, but they also hit you with an additional $29 annual fee. The machines are new but many do not function properly, like the heart rate monitors on the cardio machines and the pulleys on the ab and lat machines. Also there are some muscle heads who hog up the bench presses, drape their dirty towels and sweaty shirts over them and won't let others use them. This went on for 1 1/2 hours while I was there. Finally there are a lot of morbidly obese folks on the treadmills. It us good they are working out but the odor can get overwhelming. I am not going back. I signed up during the hoopla with balloons and banners for .99 and although I did sign the agreement for 19.99 a month apparently I also signed to pay the yearly fee of 39.00. My mistake. I haven't used the club in 6mos and the payment went out on the first of the month and I called to cancel on the 5th. They will not refund me if I cancel. Even if I am not using the club. They take it out of my bank and I have already not been using the club. This is BAD business. You need to explain the terms when signing people during promotions. You explain everything else.
