Coming from the West Coast, it's been really hard to find that norther Mexican flavor that I grew up with, but this place comes pretty close. Customer service is great and food taste good. The portions are great, you never feel like you paid too much for anything. And they have a A rating. That's always a plus. It's easy to get to because it's right off the Rockaway stop on the A train. Two blocks from Woodhaven/ Crossbay. It's street parking but it's easy to find parking in the residential areas. This has to be the worst Mexican food i have ever ordered. The Carnitas described as fried pork, more like soggy, wet pork that has no condiments or taste. The prices are outrages and its insane because no one would mind paying high prices for food that is high quality as-well. I have eaten Mexican food , specifically tacos from authentic places and i would have rather eaten from taco bell tonight. Maybe its just that they don't make tacos well, not every Mexican restaurant specializes in tacos being that Mexican's have so many different kinds of authentic dishes . Cute little restaurant on the corner just below the A train. I had to stop by to try out some Mexican cuisine. I ordered the chicken quesadilla's, I wanted it with some added veggies but apparently they don't do that (I found that odd). The quesadilla's came with some sour cream and salad with your choice of sauce: spicy or mild if I remember correctly. The quesadilla's were good; cheesy with just enough chicken and the tortillas weren't "soggy". Apparently there's a $10 credit card minimum but there's no signs indicating this anywhere in restaurant or the menu. However, the woman in the front gave me a few cheap suggestions to bring my bill up to meet the minimum. She was extremely nice and accommodating. So I threw in chips and guacamole. They were delicious!! Especially the chips (go figure!) they were crunchy and surprisingly very tasty. The guac was a bit on the spicy side so be warned. But fresh, seasoned nicely with veggies and just as great! I'd definitely recommend stopping by as service is quick friendly and most importantly the food was yum! read more

This little gem is so on point. Their tacos are decent but the entrees are where it's really at. Shrimp burrito bowl is amazing. The best thing we've had so far was the pechuga asada (grilled chicken breast) with pico de gallo and rice and beans. So simple but so satisfying. The breast is marinated perfectly and the pico is always fresh. I tried their breakfast once also. Pretty good. Basically their regular menu options available with eggs which I'm cool with lol. One of the best Mexican spots around. Their burritos are great, especially with some guac added inside and their food always hits the spot when I'm in the mood for Mexican. Served with more of a homemade style than that fast Tex-Mex stuff. The only negative about them is that they are slightly expensive when getting food delivered. Still, I can't complain. If you're ever in the area and are in the mood for some quality Mexican food then look no further. Great authentic food and it'll set you back roughly as much as a trip to Chipotle, right down to the extra $2 for guac. The wait can be on the long side but it's only because everything is cooked fresh so it's definitely worth it. They also sell a variety of homemade fruit juices. Wanted to try this place out. I love to support family run business. Decided to order for pickup. Called in for Chicken Quesadillas. Al Pastor taco, Lengua(beef tongue) taco, chicken taco, chicken flauta and a shrimp tostada. On the door it mentions CASH ONLY. Ok, no problem. Walked in and its a cozy spot, clean and staff is friendly. My review is based on my favorite Mexican spot in Bushwick(check out my other reviews). The chicken quesadilla was very good, not your typical Mexican quesadilla more of the American type so don't expect the typical Mexican one. Small I think but good. Comes with mixed green salad(the mixed pre-packaged type) on the side which I thought was weird. The tacos were great! I mean the meats were well seasoned and put together. The tongue taco was cooked perfectly, soft and flavorful. The Al Pastor were a little spicy with onions but good. The chicken taco was basic. The guac is a must! So make sure you buy some! The tostado was ok according to the BF and I personally didn't like the flautas. They were far from your traditional style. No Mexican cheese or crema and it reminded me more of a taquito from 7-Eleven than a real Mexican style flauta. Very disappointed. Just a heads up of what to expect. I would come back their customer service is very good but I will only come back for the Tacos and Guca. read more

It is small authentic Mexican place that have a wide variety of foods such as burritos, tacos, burgers, salads etc. it is very rare to find a taco spot on this side of town, and to be honest the owner deserves all the business lol. He makes the food himself with helpers. They also deliver and accept credit cards ! I got the beef burrito, it was served with salad , sour cream , guac and a bit of rice, even the tortilla tasted fresh. They also have a selection of homemade refreshing drinks such a lemonades, ice teas , pinas Etc. it's a great place to just stop by and get something good to eat. It's small and cozy. Finally, Mexican food in ozone park!! And it's deelish!! The guac is fresh and fantastic! The chorizo tacos were so good! The hot sauce is very potent, use wisely! We also ordered a beef quesadilla and my very picky son stated it was "very good"! Hub ordered the Mexican steak and it was also deelish! I asked about delivery to Howard beach and they confirmed that they will deliver but there is a $20 minimum. I find that reasonable and easy to reach and will definitely be ordering again soon! read more

The food is so good! The portions are great for the price. I have called in ahead and picked up orders, and I have also eaten within the restaurant. if you don't call ahead, there will be a wait. They use disposable plates and silverware as well as cups, when you actually sit within the restaurant. Their guacamole is great! The fresh fruit juices are fresh always and taste delicious. The staff is very personable and friendly. They have a lot of parking on the street, and are open until 10pm. They have delivery's until around that time. Everyone is really nice here, its a small business and they want to make sure that you are satisfied with their food and service. read more

I love the food...I really do. But on a day when I was unable to go out, they told me I needed $30 to be delivered to Lindenwood, since it's too far! Really?! There are places right up the block from them that deliver to me all the time-no minimum. Ozone Park and Lindenwood are neighbors.
