Had them this weekend. I order compadres at least once a week. Food is fresh and clean. Very tasty. They know their stuff- they have both authentic and Tex-Mex style Mexican food. I typically order enchiladas or a burrito with a compliment of a Mexican style taco or their awesome guac and chips (to die for!) The nachos are also a favorite. Only complaint is when I ask for mild it's still quite spicy. But all in all I am very pleased with their consistency, quality and professionalism. I don't even mind paying a delivery fee since I am outside of their delivery zone. It's worth it to be able to enjoy their food. This restaurant is small but the food is absolutely delicious. Everything from the food to the natrual drinks are all fresh made as you can see when they are preparing them. The tacos are to die for especially the Lengua de Res. The Agua de Jamaica or Hibiscus is also great not too sweet and not too bitter. On Saturdays they have fresh made tamales my favorite being the chicken ones. There is no other Mexican restaurant in the area so this is a unique place as well. The prices are fair and the employees are extremely nice. I would eat here everyday if possible! read more

Chicken tacos are one of my favorite foods ever and I was excited about this restaurant since it's right by the A train and I would be able to pick them up for dinner or whatever on my way home. My mom and I had ordered four of them and when we got home and opened them up, they were absolutely disgusting. The chicken was old, the cilantro was gross and there was way too much of it (probably to compensate for the lack of old chicken), and there was feta cheese instead of jack or even plain cheddar. It smelled horrible as well and made us both gag as we tried to eat it and we were incredibly disappointed that we wasted our money. Don't go here, at least not for their tacos. read more

Checked Yelp for a good taco spot in the neighborhood and found this restaurant. I was going to call ahead and order but decided to go in and see what it was about. I am so happy that I did. Being that it was my first time trying their food, I ordered several items to try in case one wasn't to my liking. Spoiler: EVERYTHING was to my liking! First, the people there are very friendly and it appears to be a family run restaurant. When I told the gentleman behind that counter that it was my first time trying out the food, he gave me recommendations when asked for help. We had pernil, chicken and steak tacos (both Mexican and American style), an order of enchiladas in red sauce (spicy) and an order of shrimp diabla (slow burn, medium hot). While we waited for our large order they offered us freshly made chips and guacamole, which was really good. As we waited and sat at one of the tables, there was TV on and numerous people coming in and out to pick up orders. This was a great sign! Got everything home, the order was 100 accurate and the food was really delicious. The worst critiques I have are that there wasn't enough green hot sauce (mild) to stock pile in my fridge and the diabla sauce was a little thin in my opinion. I'm shocked by what I was delivered tonight by the people at Comadres, I really don't want to write a story so hopefully at the end I can put a picture up and let it tell the story, just in case I can't I'll start by saying what really made me waste my time to type this is the horrendous after taste I'm experiencing.
