I work in the medical field and know mammogram is not necessary twice a year. I had breast surgery and stated I don't think I can have the mammogram machine squeezing my breast they told me they don't allowed to have only the ultrasound. Really? i call this NEGLIGENCE.

The medical assistant who did my drug screen did not smile one time. No pleasantries at all. Not even hello. She opened a cabinet and said, "Put your things in there". She was all business and got annoyed that I went to the wrong side of the computer when she asked me to sign my name. I was never there before, and getting drug tested is not something I do very often. She made the whole experience really uncomfortable and weird. The company I was just hired with is a huge account for Care Spot; you would think they would treat people with respect and dignity. This MA needs to get a different job because she should not be working in healthcare, as miserable as she seemed. I am a nurse, and I leave my issues at the door when I go to work, and if I am so unhappy at work, then I move on. I would never take it out on the patients. Save yourself hours of wait time and go to LabCorp if you need a drug test. It is literally 5 minutes up the road inside of Walgreens. Looking at the past reviews, it seems that my complaint is as common as anyone else's. No one is taking accountability for the disposition of the staff members and how they are treating the patients. One review discussed a woman with head trauma who was told to go to the ER without even assessing her. Give her a bandage and send her on her way, but not to do anything at all is disgusting. I guess management is okay with their patients being mistreated. Something needs to be done about this place. There is NO room for hostility in healthcare, and that is all you get with this care spot. I implore management to make some changes, and I am available to discuss my experience if they care to do so. I doubt that will happen.

One time like 10 years ago I signed up for one of those cheap worthless insurance policies that was to include a yearly exam basic lab test, routine test for like mammograms, bone density, and blood tests. No it did not. The hospital could not fill out the forms correctly and refused to refile. So yes never use Shand either. Shands will no longer accept medicare or medicaid so guess you must pay to to receive substandard care, so good luck with that one. Fast forward 10 years, February 24th 2025 went in to get stuck-I hate getting stuck . Labcorp waited 6 months before even telling me there was a problem, yelled in my face that this bill was due immediately when I was told and demanded full price, Not what medicare would pay? I would most likely have paid that. $25 dollars vs $204? Whose is doing the coding? I see my Doctor's orders, it says; THS bmi less than 18.5. Those are the ones I take to Labcorp?

The technicians were…read morepatient, friendly, and supportive in making me as comfortable as possible through the process of having an MRI with and without contrast which obviously extended that amount of time in the machine. Having previously had three MRIs Gainesville High Field MRI staff and technicians were the best. If you need to have an MRI, I would strongly recommend them.
