It was a friday afternoon and I realized that a snow storm was coming our way on Monday. I called Pats, which is literally around the corner from me and told him what was going on. I dropped the snowblower off Friday evening and on Monday morning, just as the snow began to fall, they called to tell me it was ready to be picked up. $150 later I was out of there. Quick, easy and convenient and they even included a can of pre-mixed gas/oil so we don't mess it up again.

You can only return if you never tried it and product in original packaging and they still will charge you 20% restocking fee. For some reason, this branch seems to have more staff turnover than other locations, with the exception of one long-timer (Bob). Despite these minor shortcomings, SNE/Peacedale is the only option for plumbing and heating supplies in South Kingstown, since Damon's Hardware closed. The only other options are driving north to Home Depot in North Kingstown, or driving a considerable distance south, to Westerly, which has at least three plumbing supply companies. I used to visit this branch more often, when I worked in South County, but it had been about two or three years since I last stopped here. I didn't recognize any of the employees (except Bob), and their bathroom got a much-needed remodel. Honestly, I was not impressed with the new counterman who waited on me; he seemed more interested in talking to other customers (including one who came in after me), than taking my order and getting me out the door quickly, so I could get back to work.
