Their array of crystals, jewelry and decorative items are nicely arranged and I basically want it all! Nice staff who greeted us and were happy to answer any questions. Prices were a little higher than I was hoping but to be fair, you're in a small local shop that's in town off the beaten path. The fact that such a unique and fun shop exists in a little town like Fort Bragg is pretty cool. Definitely add them to your shopping adventures when you're in Mendocino County. They're down a side street off Main and there's plenty of free parking and other shops and cafes to visit and round out your Fort Bragg visit.

I had broken a hinge on a new pair of glasses and she couldn't repair them. He soldered the hinge together in a few minutes and saved me ,$500. He didn't want to charge me, but I gave him a few $. I saw several pieces in gold and silver that my sweetie would like. She is fond of cats, butterflies, sea stars and dragonflies. There was also a nice pair of simple ruby earrings. And, that I'd purchased a jacket that I LOVED and that I'd left it somewhere. I saw a jacket I loved and I needed a larger size than she had in the shop and I asked if perhaps "they" (meaning where ever she purchased it) might carry a larger size. She said it was the last of the inventory (which I assumed she meant her inventory). She walked off and didn't help to see if I could order a larger size. AND, prior to that, I'd wanted to ask a question and the two store keepers were chatting as I stood there in front of them waiting. The store keeps were in their 60's (I'd guess), so not, inexperienced. I worked in prestigious law firms in the San Francisco Financial District in my working days and realize practically every day that I was so fortunate to learn the professionalism required for working with high-end clients. You don't keep customers waiting while you finish your conversation because the whole point of you being in the store at that moment is to sell. So, while I'd had a very nice perception of Circa's owner last year, I didn't this time around and that's her loss. I told other potential customers and other store employees/owners when I walked out. Word of mouth is powerful for stores like this. I may not have purchased anything, and I won't rush to her store the next time I'm in Mendocino, a small loss for her, but, she doesn't know who I know, who I speak to. And, now I'm telling a larger audience. I noticed a couple of people working in town who left me feeling less positive about Mendocino, a placed I've always LOVED. Your customers are often there to have fun and if you are sour, it sours their experience. AND, you most often ALWAYS remember the nice people and their businesses.

She was equally as sweet to everyone who walked in whilst helping me with sizes and suggestions! This store has the most incredible selection of items from clothing to home decor. But best of all, the prices are downright reasonable. Not at all what I expected in a Bay Area boutique with EXQUISITE merchandise. I got two sweaters, a dress, a brooch and two necklaces! The stuff here probably won't bowl you over the way some of the more high-end, artsy pieces at the other stores will, but if you're not down with surrendering a lot of money on jewelry there is a wide array of gorgeous casual jewelry here and phalanxes of artsy silver rings. They also have a fairly good selection of men's bling as well, which I appreciate. If I hadn't blown all my money at the Gallery Bookshop (and at Papa Bear's Chocolate House *cough*) I'd've walked out with a ring or two.
