I have no reservations in recommending this company. -------------------- I really wanted to give Just In Time a five-star review, because I genuinely think the issue I ran into was an honest mistake. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with how they handled that mistake. First, the good: I hired them to install a smart EV charger. They were super friendly, responsive, on-time, and the installation itself was fast and clean. Here's where things went sideways: they told me the job was complete, but the charger's controller--the part that actually makes it "smart"--was still sitting in the box. Without that piece installed, the whole point of the smart charger is lost. The technicians put me on the phone with the boss, who told me installing the rest of the components would be an additional $165. I was awfully annoyed, but I didn't really have any choice at that point. My issue is simple: I was clear from the beginning about the exact charger I needed installed. I showed the estimator the box and confirmed that their quote covered installing and integrating the smart charger. Some people might call this a bait-and-switch, but I don't think that's what happened. I think they either misunderstood the charger when quoting or were just moving too fast. An honest mistake. But the "solution" was to charge me $165 more for something that took them less than fifteen minutes. They had an opportunity to either (A) complete the scope they quoted, or (B) at least try to work with me on the added fee. Instead, I got a shrug and a "take it or leave it."

Fortunately, I had interviewed four different electrical companies back in October of last year as I was preparing to have some work done. I had already decided on using Juniper based on my research. I called Juniper that morning and Bonnie who handles all the administration there took some information and was instantly on it. Within an hour, a tech arrived. Within two hours, there were site technicians here to mark underground power and data lines. By late afternoon, Juniper had set us up with a temporary solution to get us through the night as it dipped into the single digits. At 7am sharp the next morning, the Juniper team was out here in full force. Mind you, it was frigidly cold in our garage. They worked through the day and into the night to fully replace our electric panel as well as add a sub panel outside next to the main cutoff. I was blown away at their efficiency and expertise. Despite the horribly cold conditions, Juniper executed a complex job in a day without cutting a single corner. The team was incredibly nice. They wore shoe coverings each time they had to come into our home. They fully communicated every phase of the work to me from start to finish. They tested every circuit in the home after completing the work. It felt like a well-oiled, highly efficient military operation - with a group of guys that were super nice. These guys know what they are doing and they do not mess around. They were back today (Monday) to finish up minor details and close the project out. Superior workmanship and we got a superior product. Since this is a once in 50 year kind of thing, we opted for a smart load center and it is just super cool. I HIGHLY recommend Juniper for any electrical work you might require. You will not be disappointed! I of course will continue to use them moving forward.

WIthin 4 days of calling Bonnie (owner of this local family-run business) the work was expertly done by Justin the journeyman electrician helped out by Joe, an apprentice electrician. Could not be happier with their work and expertise. Fair estimate, quiet professionalism, great communications the entire way. Absolutely will use them again!

OGS were great at communicating, accommodating to my schedule and got the work done at a fraction of the price quoted by others. The two gentleman showed up on time, were courteous throughout and made sure I was 100% satisfied with the project. They even made sure to get everything cleaned up and left how they found it - even better. Would highly recommend this company and I wasn't paid for this review. Great job, thank you!

One star is too generous for OGS, Off-Grid Solutions. I wouldn't trust OGS to replace a lightbulb…read more I had to hire an experienced journeyman electrician to do a forensic inspection of OGS' work and the inspection found numerous code and safety violations by OGS that required remediation. Some of the OGS' mistakes could have caused a fire. The inspector commented that the (OGS) work appeared to be done by an inexperienced person. OGS failed at every step and then extorted me to pay them immediately in cash before the work was complete and before the City electrical inspection. The even clumsily FORGED a changed contract long after the "work" was finished, changing the terms; I had never seen that contract version until 6 weeks after the work was supposed to be completed. I have since learned from OGS that an "apprentice" may have been used on the project, mostly unsupervised, which is illegal in Colorado. I believe that the reason they wanted cash before the inspection is that they didn't not expect their work to pass inspection. We had a detailed contract for a straight-forward electrical panel capacity and amp upgrade. The contract specified that two employee electricians were to take one day to complete installation of a detailed list of equipment and get the permits and inspection done. They sent one (not two) freelance "electrician", who appears to be just an apprentice who is not allowed to work without in-person supervision, who had never seen the work order and did not have a copy. The "electrician" brought and started installing a breaker box that was the wrong brand and 1/3 less capacity than the minimum specified. After a 2nd day of work, OGS were still missing parts, but demanded full cash payment; they said it was too much trouble to bring the remaining necessary parts soon. OGS deliberately delayed requesting City inspection for no valid reason--a homeowner was home every day in January. They threatened to sabotage my follow-on project if I did not pay them cash immediately before the contracted work was completed and inspected. And did. The contracted work is still not completed, weeks later. After numerous threats, I may file extortion charges against them and seek a form of restraining order. IMHO, the GUYS AT OGS ARE NUTS and certainly should not be licensed electricians. The OGS reply to this has substantial misrepresentations; no surprise. Deal with them at your own peril.
