Appointment process was simple, front desk staff is very kind, patient and friendly. Please NOTE there are about 4 indoor cats in the reception area, they are loose and roam freely. I have a bad cat allergy, so that caught me by surprise, and my dog hates cats, so it was hard to keep her calm while waiting.. luckly the wait period was brief, and i had no allergic reaction. The nurse staff and DR Thomas were kind and helpful, very patient in explaining different matters. Overall, I had a positive experience and would visit again, it's important to mention that the coat was reasonable.

Over the course of a month of nearly daily care for my soul pup, we had to put her down. Dr Hooks and her team did EVERYTHING they possibly could for her but unfortunately it was her time to go, her Cushing Disease, after many years, had progressed sadly...Dr. Hooks told me years ago that this would happen and that she would continue to care for her, which she did until the very end. When it was time to say goodbye, Dr. Hooks and her team again were there until the very possible end. These amazing people here, after spending so much time here, have become like a second family to me and I trust them wholeheartedly. I cannot say enough good things about them. I followed Dr. Hooks since 2009 when she saved my lab mix when he was a puppy (and passed of old age just last year). This year we had to put Cali down. The whole process was emotionally difficult for myself and my family, but I am entirely grateful for Dr. Hooks and her teams care and warmth to us.

He was a ball of joy and nothing but love. On January 23rd of this year we made the difficult decision to lay bert to rest. They made my wife as comfortable as they could . She was able to spend the last few minutes showing bert love . The staff gave my wife time to say her goodbye. It was hard to hold back the tears then 2 days later we received a beautiful card and flowers This is the kind of vet we have been waiting for.treating our pet like there own.

WE love our furry/feathered family members…read more THEY give US unconditional love and in exchange we assure their needs are met. When one of these treasured 'kids' gets sick, our world may seem to come to a crashing halt. OUR world came to a crashing halt recently when one of our 4 Siamese cats became gravely ill. His name is Mizzou. The alpha male of the others, which are 2 brothers and his nephew. Mizzou started acting so differently than normal. In rapid succession this regal animal became very, very sick. WE'D had one previous experience with Dr Ned and the folks at Three Oaks. That was with KeeWee, our Quaker Parrot. That visit proved to be a real eye-opener. What we saw in Dr Ned was a truly loving & caring man of in-depth medical skill. DR NED is actually a 'bird whisperer'. Having never met KeeWee before, he simply took this oft testy bird in his hands and began to assess her. She was relaxed and let out not one squawk! WE could NOT believe our eyes! She totally trusted this man and now so did we. SO, it was natural to bring our incredible Mizzou to Dr Ned for treatment. What followed was just over two weeks of tests, meds and other procedures. Mizzou was NOT responding much, or favorably. HAVING worked in Emergency Medical Services myself, I was keenly aware of some of the signs that Mizzou was exhibiting. This also made it easier for me to confer with Dr Ned AND his very capable associate Dr Taylor on critical points and possible treatments. MUCH consideration was made to transfer Mizzou to a top notch Veterinary Hospital that comes highly regarded. BUT, the tunnel of options narrowed as we began to see less and less light at the end of Mizzou's tunnel. He was having serious neurological issues paired with some tremendous biological ones. Issues that are likely NON-reversible. THE worst day of our lives... The day the most difficult decision EVER had to be made. Knowing in our hearts that this was the ONLY right choice, it was time to say Goodbye to this beautiful loving boy. And so, our Mizzou crossed that fabled Rainbow Bridge..... WITH a million thank you's our family cannot convey our expression of gratitude to Dr Ned, Dr Taylor and the entire staff at Three Oaks Veterinary! I'd name EACH and EVERY one of the staff but I'd feel horrible IF I left anyone out! YOU guys know who you are and what YOU did! AND we so believe in YOU. All. THE love, compassion & giving spirit coupled with top notch medical capabilities has permanently endeared the family at Three Oaks to our family. WE love you all...

Normally one of my kids would be available to stay with him but this was a family Christmas out of town and I didn't know or have anyone and after reading other teviews I contacted them. They have a limited area of coverage and thankfully I just managed to be inside the area! I am so grateful and appreciative of the care they gave our pup! They are amazing and if you are lucky enough to be in their service area do not hesitate to contact them because your fur baby will be given excellent care! I needed twice a day feeding visits with walks and they were able to accommodate his needs and provide reports! I will definitely ask for them for any future needs!.if I could give 10 stars I would!

Even when we went on vscation, Deb or one of her Nannie's, even Manny Rob was there for us. she is not expensive at all if you compare with a kennel. kennels aren't good for your pups anyway, they are better off at home. We've moved out of her geographical area so I can't use her anymore. I must say she has helped me personally get through the pain of Fenway passing on. so if you are thinking of needing help in taking care of your pets, contact Deb. she will answer any of your questions honestly and forthright.
