I asked why he would say that, and he replied it is not reversable. Now I know what he meant. Had my right hip done 1st. I would pay to have my real hip back and accept the pain. My hip dislocates frequently. One time I could not get it back in and ended up in the hospital. When it dislocates it is Trama. I was never told that this could happen by surgeon, CARL OLLIVIERRE, MD. He spent 5 minutes with me, his assistant gave me some pamphlets and sent me on my way. If you are thinking about this surgery, think deeply. For most it works out but there are also many cases where you end up with a hip that can pop out from simply getting up from a sofa. Surgeon did not explain any of the complications including my right leg is longer than my left leg now. Totally regret choice of surgeon.

I asked some questions about the pain, and he told me it would be stiff, and basically opened the door and left. My wrist isn't just stiff, but he didn't give me a chance to discuss it further. He didn't give me a chance to ask any more questions. He also seemed very distracted and I felt I wasn't a priority at all. If I have another issue that requires an Orthopedic Dr, then I'll be looking for someone else.

Please pay attention to what you are doing in my personal opinion. I have tried other O.b. and I don't like the small talk. He is how ever very on top of things and makes sure your baby and your health is great. Dr.Courtney has been my o.b. since I was 17 years old I am 43 years old now with 6 kids later and still go to him. I have never had an issue with my care. He is very direct and does not tolerate nonsense but can take criticism. I do hear some people say they hate going to Dr. Courtney because he is "mean". But in my experience the doctor has been very professional and made sure you get information that is needed and not the what "ifs". So having said that when anyone ask me for a good o.b.g.y.n. I always say "If you want a knowledgeable and experienced doctor then Dr. Courtney. If you want a friend doctor then please choose someone else." This place does have a receptionist that acts like your in her business. And talks on her phone arguing with maybe "partner". And has an attitude in anything she does or says. But I haven't seen her in my last two visits so hopefully she has been replaced permanently. Which is why I took 1 star away.

They are terrible with communication and their office staff is incompetent. I have had nothing but trouble. It took forever for them to verify my info and what I would owe before my first visit. I'm went to the 1st visit and waited for about 3 hrs. At that appointment once I was seen it was soooo rushed and unprofessional. I was told I'd only owe $550 total which was my deductible for all visits and delivery. So I payed 1st payment of $275. They sent me home with a unity kit that they said I must have administered by the unity company. I had given the Doctor my insurance information and unity. Both said it would be covered so I set an appointment to have my blood drawn. Fast-forward to one week later I'm sent a bill for $750 for the bloodwork saying my insurance does not cover any of it. I spoke to my insurance company and they said unity knows that they do not take my insurance and my doctor should've been aware of that as well as. I had given them the insurance information and card before. Yet neither party let me know. I was also supposed to have a referral sent over to Winnie Palmer which weeks later was still never sent even when checking up with their office several times. Lake ob would say they had already sent it when I called (this was several times.)Yet Winnie Palmer said they never received. After 3 or so weeks and calling every few days dr said they sent and Winnie Palmer said yeah they finally sent today. This caused my anatomy scan to be several weeks after it should have been. Lake OB also never sent any of the information that they should have sent to Winnie Palmer. I had to sit in Winnie Palmer's office and look up all the information including scans and blood test for them. They said your doctor should've sent everything to us. My next appointment at my OB I paid my second payment of $275. I was told I'm all paid up good to go all the way through delivery. At my third appointment I was told I owe $275 again I let them know I had already paid my full balance. They gave me a prescription for more bloodwork as well as a RhoGAM shot as I'm negative blood type. I was confused as I've always had my RhoGAM shots done at the doctors office administered by them. When I asked where I need to get the shot, everyone in the office was confused. They said I could go anywhere. I tried to go to several pharmacies using my insurance and it was not covered at all. I called back and the doctors office said I must go to the Leesburg Hospital pharmacy to pick this up free of charge. However, when arriving there I was still charged around $80. I was also told by the two doctors at the office and several office girls that I would not have to pay to have the shot administered there at their office as long as I brought it with me. A month later I go to my forth appointment and I am told you owe $90. I questioned this completely confused. They said you owe $45 from your first visit that we never collected I said you did collect they said no the $550 doesn't count and you owe $45 from this one. I nicely tried to argue. The fact saying I was told by multiple people that I am all paid up and that I do not owe anything for the shot to be administered. The secretary and the Lady Lake office Megan was absolutely terrible to deal with. She was heartless and rude. Just kept telling me well too bad...No one here should've told you that. Well they all did and it is their office employees and they should standby their word. She had me then talk to a manager from the Leesburg office via phone. She too was not nice to deal with. She said no one should be speaking about finances at that office, I said this makes no sense. They've taken my payment here and talked to me several times, yet she says no one there deals with accounting or is allowed to talk finances. How can you run a business and not even have the people that need to be there? Why would both be at one office full time. I told her so you guys can do and say whatever you want and charge every time I come here just because someone shouldn't have said something or someone gave me wrong information. Their people need to get on the same page. I still have a few months to go and I'm petrified to see what happens up to the time of delivery and during delivery.
