I visited Integrative Physical Medicine for a message yesterday. The staff were courteous, professional and knowledgable. I dealt with two areas in particular; an overall very good experience. The front desk. The staff were very effective. After contacting them to make my appointment, I received a call back to confirm the details of my session. I later received a call the day before my session to confirm I would be making my appointment. Always friendly. Adn I was greeted warmly when I arrived for my massage, and made to feel at home by the person I spoke with on the telephone many times. Nice touch. The massage. The therapist had already been familiarized with my specific massage called for. I shared additional details and was directed to the clean, aromatic massage room that had calming music playing. I liked the ambience. The session continued with a very effective massage that addressed the aches I had asked to be addressed. Most impressive. Overall, I am sure that I would like to visit Integrative Physical Medicine again. My therapist was great. And the experience was what I hoped for...and more. read more

Update: now that my insurance has been billed for over 9k they "changed" my treatment from 3 times a week to 1 time a month and now get rude with me as if it's an inconvenience to do ur job. After my car accident, I was sent here to get treatment, everyone is very nice and understanding that some days are better than others, they work with you on schedules. read more

Really great massage by Vinroy. I told the receptionist I was looking for a strong massage, and she recommended him. It was really great communicating with him and explain where the tightness occurred. I had him work on my psoas, illascus, IT band, abductors as well as neck and shoulders. He did a great job in addressing the issue at hand. It was a little painful, but that's exactly what I wanted so I was very happy. I had a much better range of motion with my legs after. This place has been nothing but great to me so I am SHOCKED by the reviews. I have quite literally never been to a better medical facility, by any means. Before I get into my experience, let's go over a few things: 1. The majority of negative reviews for this place, on multiple platforms have to do with finance. If you're looking for cheap, you can find it, but it may cost you your health. 2. If all you're looking for is a "relaxing" massage, consider a spa. This is a medical facility. 3. I came across this place by sheer luck, after trying to find a place that would work with my schedule. Which they have, with ease. I say luck, because the first chiropractor I went to after getting smashed into and my car TOTALED, just gave me a massage, the little vibration muscle thing, and called it a day. I'm 99% sure they thought I was lying about having any pain. Had I not looked for a schedule change, I would have never come across this place. This place educates you. They explain why you hurt and where you hurt, thoroughly. The actual chiropractor is passionate and kind about what he does. Not only does the staff remember my name, my schedule-literally everything, they treat me like family. I was so nervous going in, I've never had any back problems until now and had no clue what to expect. They ordered an MRI and additional X-rays because they wanted to make SURE nothing was missed. This is how I realized I had more issues than I thought, and wasn't just being a wuss about my pain. They didn't treat me like an idiot when I had no idea how to use any of the equipment, and one of the original doctors/(nurse? Not sure) didn't judge me when I bawled from being terrified/having anxiety attacks after my accident. I don't think I've ever cried in front of a stranger either, I'm not that person. So understand this takes a lot for me to admit. Not being able to sleep from the pain/nightmares, being introduced to driving related panic attacks when I used to LOVE being behind the wheel, and drive 2+ hours daily, this place made me feel safe. I could go on and on about the care I've been shown in this office, and it wouldn't even come close to describing it well enough. Physically, the original chiropractor I went to would have screwed me for life. My spine was shaped like an upside down question mark. They gave me a neck/back brace which has REALLY helped. Yet another thing I would've gone without at the other office I first visited. I've been going 3 times a week for about four weeks now, and I will likely have to go to a chiropractor for the rest of my life, due to the nature of my accident. But the debilitating pain has decreased, and I can attribute that to them. So many places will look at you like a paycheck, and that's it. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my back. I would vouch for these guys till the end of time, and can't thank them enough for what they've done for me. read more

Highly recommend this place. My wife and I been there several times, the staff are very friendly and courteous, the doctors and all the physical therapist are very knowledgeable and professional. we where able to see our X-rays and given detail explanation of their findings and how they will proceed and treat our condition. Very disappointing massage from Bianniris. The room was freezing, the lights were left on and too bright, Brianniris was far too fast and hard. Nothing about this massage was relaxing. Massages should be soothing and healing. Slow but firm on tight muscles. This absolutely was not that. I hope this review gives guidance on what can be improved. read more

Both my girlfriend and I have received massages here. She and I both agreed that the massage, and the masseuse were good, and we each gave her a $20 tip, but unfortunately our 1 hour massages were only 45 minutes each. According to their employees, this is common practice. They explained that I paid for a 1 hour block, not a 1 hour massage, as it takes time to undress/dress. This is probably my 7th or 8th professional massage, and they have all given me 60 minute massages, not 45 minutes. Massages are not cheap, so if a business is going to cut my massage time by 25%, then they should let me know ahead of time. PS- It does not take 15 minutes to undress/dress. read more

I purchased a Groupon for 2 massages from here and I have to say- best massages I've ever gotten, courtesy of Samantha. I'm not the type who's impressed with a wussy back rub coupled with lavender scented aromatherapy either. I regularly lift, so my muscles and fluids really need to be bullied around by an experienced, educated therapist. Samantha's great- I highly recommend her to work on what ails you. read more

This place sucks... A friend of mine recommended it and i made the appointment more than a week ahead. They called me twice to confirm. My appointment was on Monday at 9 am so eventually i took a day off work just to get this done. Woke up on Monday morning and hit the road. At 830 am the lady called me saying that they cannot see me because the doctor called off.... Seriously??? Short notice after i arranged my whole entire schedule for them!!! She asked if i would like to reschedule. Oh yeah? Really? So you can ruin another day of my life?! NO i am good! I wish i could give a 0 star to this place! I'm leaving this review mostly to give the massage therapist RaShawn the accolades he is due. I've been going to him exclusively at IPM for years now and if he were to leave, I probably would too. He's amazing. Before he came I just went to whoever was available and it was just ok. But he's ruined me for using any other therapist here since he started working. He's really good at what he does, very versatile with his therapies and very in tune to your aches and pains. I went for a consult a few years ago for their chiropractic services and really dodged a bullet with that one. Thankfully my insurance didn't accept them and I had an easy out, but they really pressured me still to pay thousands of dollars for treatment I really didn't need. They took xrays of my neck and back, showed me the xrays and all the "problems" that I had. I'm 99% sure they weren't my xrays. The one of my back showed significant scoliosis (which I don't have!). I pointed this out to the chiropractor who disagreed with me, quickly tried to divert my attention and change the subject. Btw, I'm an RN, who did she think she was kidding? Anyhoo, that's my story. I was contacted by the business and offered a deep tissue massage with Rashawn. I almost don't want to post about it because it was so good and he's hard to book with! I enjoyed my massage so much. He really helped with sore muscle issues I've been experiencing, so much so that I joined the monthly massage service. The monthly deep tissue massages are very therapeutic for me. I'm so glad the business reached out and offered a free massage to make up for the first one. I've recommended Rashawn for my husband and friends. read more

The office was located conveniently for me at Colonial. Overall the office was fine and I'm referring to the physical therapy area except when it got busy it was first come first serve on the machines and sometimes the order of whom was next to misplaced. The staff was excellent. Cleanliness was good. I have had treatment for physical therapy and chiropractic care but never the trigger shots. The combination of the three in one location was truly ideal and yes the results of the treatment proved to be greater than I've previously had. I realized after the treatment program was done there was no mention of continuing chiro adjustments given I am not able to afford wellness program at this juncture. I'm only giving 2 stars because the staff members are nice and welcoming and is just because they just want your money. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your insurance money and time on this place. They only see you as money $$ coming in. They actually have like a menu of "physical therapy" that they just randomly choose so you can do it without having a personal and individual treatment and they will charge the insurance for silly stuff like sitting down on a weird thing they call the "wobble". Every patient is doing the same thing, and how is that possible when everyone have different issues. The chiropractic "adjustment" is wack. The Dr even though his is nice as a person but he will just work on you like 3 minutes top and the Dr is just hammering your back with his instrument, no receiving real relief whatsoever. No meds prescription for your pain. They are just for the money. If you are in a car accident go to an orthopedic place where real doctors are. read more

Understand, I believe 100% in chiropractic modalities as well as an integrative approach to healthcare but in all honesty, don't bother to use this place unless you want to RAISE your blood pressure to dangerous levels. All I want to do is PAY a bill! I have zero complaints about the bill, however, forget it if you think this is a simple process. They tell you to call the Mount Dora office where the head bookkeeper is. Apparently, she uses voicemail whenever she choses to say "screw you, I'm not answering the phone today because you are a patient/client and you are interrupting my day!" You'll get transferred to a FULL voice mail system! Want to get a copy of your bill? Forget about that too and ANY possibility of it being a simple process. They will HIDE behind the HIPAA law to give them an excuse to NOT provide you with bill information! They want you to come in, in person when all they need to do is send you an e-mail! This place is bureaucracy run amuck. Better said, its complete BS because the LAZY OFFICE PEOPLE don't want to do their job because they view you, the patient, as a great big inconvenience to their sitting around. Bottom line, you are nothing to them. They hate dealing with you. They will use whatever excuse and hide behind any process they can to avoid doing their office jobs. All I want to do is PAY A BILL.
