Candidly, this healthcare facility feels far more like a concierge medicine practice than a typical urgent care or local 24/7 ER. A couple of weeks ago, I woke up with a terrible sore throat. I tried Cepacol lozenges without any relief. Eventually, I began searching for urgent care medical facilities that were open in the middle of the night. After reviewing several options and reading through patient reviews, I decided to call Complete Care in Southlake. Initially, seeing that it was a 24/7 ER gave me pause, as those 24/7 ER facilities can be very expensive, and I even debated whether I should simply endure the pain for another five hours until a traditional urgent care clinic opened...I'm so glad I made the call. From the moment I spoke with the receptionist to my interactions with the nurse and Dr. Peebles, the experience was exceptional. Everyone took their time, answered my questions thoroughly, offered thoughtful suggestions, promptly sent over prescriptions, and Debbie expertly administered the two injections I needed. Even more surprising, the cost was literally on par with many local urgent care facilities for cash pay. i came in for pain, swelling and redness around my belly button. the doctor just examined my stomach and said yeah you just have such and such, but didn't do a cat scan to see if it was anything internal going on. then he made the statement on how I likely got the rash - "well you women like to wear your pants up high, that's how you got it." about 30 mins later I was sent home with 2 antibiotics. Needless to say I ended up going to a hospital ER later that night and turned out I had an abscess in my stomach - which is why my belly button was reacting the way it was. the hospital doctor was kind of taken back when she asked if they did a cat scan on me - because she knows they have the equipment there - and I told her no. In all I would not go back here - bedside manner of the doctor and nurses was not great and overall knowledge of what could be wrong, obviously wasn't there. read more

I came in last year with a terrible cough and malaise. They gave me an X ray and found I had pneumonia. They gave me prescription and then called me the next day to make sure I was doing ok! I think I received a note also. I was so impressed all around. We have also been in for my child's ear infection in the middle of the night. Be advised that this is an EMERGENCY ROOM, not a urgent care/ "doc-in-the box". They will charge you $4000 just to walk in the door, so be sure to check your insurance accordingly. While they are very nice and will send you a hand written thank you letter, there are plenty of care facilities in Southlake. read more

I highly recommend Complete Care. I was in so much pain and truly dreading going to any kind of emergency care but I was out of options without insurance. Not only did they treat me without insurance, but they told me they would do a full exam and if I didn't want to accept treatment, they wouldn't charge me anything after the exam. They also gave me a ball park of what I could expect financially if I chose to accept treatment. I can't tell you what a relief this was during my physical crisis. Over 20 regular MDs in the area would not help me, and they did for the low price of $160. No hidden fees. No extra bills that keep coming in the mail. I am SO grateful for Complete Care.   From the moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, the entire staff is sincere, kind, helpful, and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Hart actually had me laughing with his warm and funny personality. I had been in tears just moments before because of the pain I was in and the fear I had surrounding my situation. I wish he could be my permanent doctor. I will always come here for mine and my family needs. I came here first back in July 2020. I was medically paralyzed due to low potassium and magnesium. They nurses came out with a wheel chair for me and they staff took great care of me while the doctor talked to my husband. I was terrified and they treated me so well. (Eventually I was transferred to Texas Health HEB). Flash forward to last night. (4 years to the date of my last visit) I had been to the doctor and another urgent care twice in two weeks with symptoms worsening. It was seeming like no one wanted to check me for stuff besides Covid. The lady at the front desk (so sorry I didn't get her name, I was super sick) was sooooo kind!! Debbie the nurse was so kind, informative and great to talk to. She really knows her stuff!! Dr Peebles was also great and very kind. I was dehydrated and ended up with the flu on top of the other thing I was diagnosed with. The treatment here is like no other! This place is always open where my PCP is not. Very professional, listen to the patient, super friendly and rarely ever a wait. I've gone for myself and kids. They can diagnose bronchitis, flu or a broken bone quick. X-rays are available too. Highly recommend them. read more

Two weeks ago, I was seen following a referral with meningitis-like symptoms and sent home with minimal concern from the treating doctor - though my nurses were incredible and advocated for treatment of pain and nausea to make me comfortable. Two days later, I ended up in the hospital with severe infection. While in the hospital, I had endless bloodwork and IVs, spinal tap, CT and MRI and was well treated. I was discharged earlier in the week and received a phone call today from the hospital that there were issues with the cultures from tests as they came back and I needed follow up bloodwork and treatment and I should follow up with a doctor immediately. I was seen today at Complete Care for treatment with all prior medical documents and proof of treatments and was talked down to and dismissed by the attending physician. Again, my nurse was my only advocate but could not convince the doctor to assist with treatment. I left feeling worse than when I came and with no clarification of my condition. read more

What a horrible experience with the Southlake office! Insisting my son return for a refill of a simple antibiotic when he's moved 1,800 miles away and just needs a few days' worth until his new insurance kicks in. Front office refused to consider any options, even though he will now certainly relapse and is making his best efforts to get his new RX card through his new insurer. We've been going there for a few years--NO MORE! Horrible customer service. Complete lack of regard for the well-being of the patient. Absolute refusal to help other than to get you back there to charge more $$. Sick about this experience. read more

This is hands down, the best free-standing ER I've ever been to. And unfortunately, I've been to quite a few. Came in on a Friday afternoon with pain and nausea following a surgical incision tear. Dr. Collier and Jonathan immediately got my started on fluids, pain medication and nausea medication and did tests to rule out anything emergent. In a random series of events, I ended up coming here with three family members in a two week span. Really liked Dr Collier and the radiology tech and nurse. They did see us quickly and the warm towels were a nice touch. We never really could get the TV to work though. The $60 copay was nice for a mini ER complete with CT scans. I'm dreading getting the bills though. Although the copay was fine, they made a point that I would get separate bills from radiology and labs. Front desk was great. The night nurse Krystal was not okay last night. The doctor was great. The nurse wasn't very sympathetic, didn't ask if I needed anything (my fiancé walked out to them at least twice to adjust meds, blankets, etc.). The nurse also did not walk me out to the door or ask if I needed a wheel chair out after pain meds. They basically kicked me out after my last dose and said here's your check out paper work to sign. They didn't even wait 10 minutes after my last dose to see how my body reacted (which I threw up when I get home). I was wobbling to the car with my fiancé. No heart rate monitor (which they usually ALWAYS do with my meds). I've grown up in Southlake and sadly have to visit the ER at least once a year. This visit was not enjoyable in the first place, much less with a non sympathetic nurse. read more

The day after a car accident my husband's pain was off the charts! Our doctor recommended we get him to an ER/urgent care center. Complete Care was recommended to us and we are so thankful we went! From the moment we arrived my husband was taken care of with great care and professionalism. The nurses and doctors were so sensitive to his pain and took great care when giving him medication and CT scans. When a fracture of his vertebrae was discovered they did not delay in getting him an ambulance to get him to a trauma center immediately. I'm giving 3 stars as a rating as Dr. Hart was very helpful as were the PAs. The biggest problem is the front desk staff. I don't have insurance here as I live abroad but was in severe pain. The front desk last night told me the maximum cost but when I went to check out, they said that I would be receiving another bill from the radiologist. This was not communicated in advance and when I went to check out, the front desk lady was very understanding and reduced their bill by the amount for the radiologist. When I went back today, I was told by a very rude front desk girl that I need to pay the amount that was deducted the night before or they wouldn't treat me. As a result, I left...still in pain. Hats off to the doctor and a big thumbs down to the front desk staff. read more

I came in with shortness of breath, a cough, and sinus pain along with nausea. I was seen right away by Jonathan, the nurse and Dr. Gardner. They were both excellent and very caring. I had labs, fluids and a chest x-ray, along with meds and several breathing treatments. They had me feeling better and out the door in no time. Extremely professional and excellent care. Sherry at the front desk was very caring and quick to check me in and then get me out. I see other reviews mentioning the bills that they are afraid to get in the mail. Complete Care does not balance bill. They take whatever your copay or coinsurance is from you, and then they submit your bill to your insurance. You do not receive a bill from Complete Care- you may receive a bill from a radiologist ( who reads your x-ray if you have one), or from an outside lab if further lab testing is done other than what Complete Care is able to do in house. They warn you about this several times, at check in, when it's ordered, and again at check out- so there are no surprises. Complete Care even submits your insurance information to these two places- so the bill you get from either of these places has already gone through your insurance. You may get a statement from your insurance company called an Explanation of Benefits- this is not a bill from Complete Care, but some people get confused about it. All in all, a great place to go for your Emergent or not so emergent needs! read more

This was one of my worst experiences that I ever had last night. I went to Complete Care Southlake based on your ratings to avoid the major ER with long wait times, but I don't know why your ratings are so high. I would give you a 1/2 star rating, & that is only because I didn't have to wait long. I am a healthcare provider & chose to come here after being in severe pain for several days & at the advice of my MD. My experience was terrible from the front desk check in when I was told I would have to pay several hundred dollars because my benefits were unable to be verified- due to being after 5pm, even though I had printed proof of my benefits & having met my deductible-this was not good enough (only to be told 1.5. hours later that miraculously my benefits were able to be verified & I was only charged 1/4 of that). I was brought back to the room. The nurse took my vitals & proceeded to ask me what I wanted to happen as I had a previous workup the day before. BP was elevated for me but not addressed (also indicated pain-nor was it ever rechecked). I stated I was needing a more extensive workup out of concern for one specific disease process-per my MD. I was left with my husband in the room after giving my thorough, detailed history of what had been going on & waited for the Dr to come in. Once Dr. Patel came in, I again went over my entire medical history-allergies, surgeries, why I was there...frustrating because I had given a typed out paper with all of this information on it to the nurse-all he had to do was look at it (I don't mind telling my symptoms-but please at least pretend you have looked at something in my chart). Once I began telling him this information again-symptoms x3 days, previous workup (he had copies of), my continued pain of 7/10, unable to eat without severe pain, & my MD recommended I come for evaluation now. Both my husband & I felt as though Dr. Patel had no concern, interest in caring for me, or addressing any concern that I had. He simply restated the results that I already knew, did an exam & stated that because my physical exam was normal, it couldn't be what my MD was concerned about. He offered to redraw my labs I had just had (I declined as it was unnecessary), offered me nausea med which I initially agreed to but then after my husband spoke to the nurse who knew nothing about it-I declined. Dr. Patel stated he didn't have anyone to perform an ultrasound, but could call someone in to do this. I initially agreed to this as well. After Dr. Patel came back once again to talk to me, his bedside demeanor was clear to us that he didn't have any interest in discovering what the cause of my pain, inability to eat, nausea or vomiting was, and he was going to do the ultrasound to please me. I felt like he just wanted to put a "band-aid" on my symptoms & send me on my way to empty a bed. We decided to decline the ultrasound & requested to leave (as my MD ordered it for me in the morning). Yes, I know this was my decision but I also know that by staying there, I was not going to receive any quality of care. My pain was never addressed (which is ok-I didn't go there looking for pain relief-I went looking for a diagnosis for the pain) & I received a rx for nausea & cramping meds. Ironically when Dr. Patel was leaving the room, he told me that if I am unable to eat/drink to come back. I stated "I haven't been able to eat in 3 days, so there is that..." to which he didn't respond with anything & left. Meanwhile, I am still at home & in pain. I will not be returning here nor recommending to anyone. I am a provider & this type of care is disheartening. I came to receive higher level of care & answers, &I left more frustrated than when I arrived. I will find care elsewhere with a provider who has the knowledge, heart, & compassion to treat to find answers, not just a band-aid fix that doesn't address the diagnosis causing the symptoms. ~Dana P. read more

Wow....what a fantastic place to have locally, here we are on the first day of the year at an ER. My wife was vomiting all day plus a migraine, sore throat and no we didn't party so nothing that way. This place is set up as an actual ER facility, open 24hrs and so professional! We were greeted right away by the nice lady at the desk who got us in quickly to a private room. I'm telling you this place is setup so nice, they can treat a heart attack here so get serious care here! The Doctors and Nurses here worked in the ER at hospitals, they really know what's going on. So the fantastic ER Doctor Peebles and ER nurse Katy working here today (thank you!) were the main people we saw but the others there too were great. Sorry I didn't get everyone's name to mention. All are very kind and gentle, they listen and are very patient and accommodating. I went in on a Thursday night with really bad back pain caused by a herniated disk. I have had before the experience of going into an ER for this same pain and had to wait about 3 hours before I was taken in, hence I wasn't going to go to a hospital, but I knew a UC wouldn't have the equipment to take MRI or xrays to look into my problem. So, I gave it a chance and came here, and couldn't be more satisfied with the service. The place was empty, so the check in took only a few minutes, the nurse and the doctor were both very attentive and their bedside manner was impeccable. The doctor listened to all of my symptoms, asked follow up questions and gave me treatment options explaining everything I would need to know before making a decision. At the end of the visit the bill was a fifth of what the same treatment costed me at the ER the last time I was in this much pain. The place is clean and very well equipped with everything to take care of any emergency. Definitely I hope not to need to come back, but if I have another emergency this is the place to go to. read more

Minimal waiting and and felt I was treated extremely well with a good discussion of my symptoms with an actual Dr (not just a PA). Treatment was prompt, effective, and well planned. My experience was polite, professional and timely. No complains regarding simple bacterial infection. The facility was clean and the staff was professional. Mary, working the front desk, was very nice - she checked my insurance and was up front about any charges. This an excellent alternative to an actual hospital emergency room - although I can't speak to whether they actually have full emergency capabilities. They do have X-ray capabilities but beyond that I don't know. But, for anything minor it definitely fills that niche. Especially if you don't already have an established family doctor. The cost was double my regular copayment, which seemed reasonable. On a Monday mid-morning, the facility was not busy. Dr. Yueh was professional and took the time to explain my test results, and provided options with respect to prescriptions. Will definitely keep them on my list. read more

Complete Care was awesome, they were helpful, quick and thorough. My daughter fell down the stairs and was feeling dizzy and her knee was really swollen. We took her to Complete Care and the staff was super helpful and took care of her well. Luckily, nothing was broken!! Dr. Peebles and the nursing staff were wonderful! I had a bad fall off of a stool in my garage and came in with a laceration on my chin and some neck and wrist pain. I was admitted within minutes...my wound was stitched up, I had some x-rays and was out of there in no time at all. Everyone was extremely friendly and informative; they took great care of me. We also visited this facility last fall when my husband tore his ACL. We had a very similar postiive experience, and will continue to visit this facility for future emergency medical needs. In addition to the superior care that is given, they provide a simple billing process. Your insurance information is gathered while you are treated, and whatever you pay on your way out is all that you will owe...you will NOT receive a bill in the mail for any further cost! =) read more
