The initial crew was outstanding--knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. Timmy and William, in particular, were exceptional. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. Customer service, communication, and overall follow-through quickly deteriorated. On December 31, Ryan and another representative came out to conduct estimates and measurements, assuring me the report would be submitted to insurance within a few days. By January 25, I had received no updates or documentation. After contacting USAA, I learned they had not received anything either. When I followed up with Pro Clean, I was told, "There is no good reason it wasn't submitted, it just was not done," but was assured it would be expedited. I also left a voicemail for the CEO expressing serious concerns about how business was being handled and never received a response. Eventually, USAA received the estimate, but it contained duplicated line items and pricing discrepancies compared to the original assessment. This caused further delays while the adjuster waited for clarification from Pro Clean. A partial payment was eventually issued for deposits and materials. On March 12, I made the remediation and 50% deposit payment. On March 24, I followed up with my project manager regarding discrepancies identified by USAA and was told the information had been forwarded to Ryan on the estimating team. As of today, April 14, 2026, I still have a gutted master shower, no meaningful communication from Pro Clean, and no response to additional voicemails left for the CEO. This level of communication and customer service is unacceptable. As a military family, we have lived in multiple states and countries and worked with many companies. This has been, without question, the most frustrating and disappointing experience we have encountered. Zero stars. Avoid this company after initial water mediation.

Sailwind Construction: you get what you pay for!…read more Roughly 2 years ago I was looking for a company to remodel my mother's home in NE Pensacola. During the bid process I was told by one of the contractors to be wary of choosing the contractor with the lowest bid. According to his logic, while the cheapest contractor might still do good work, the level of micromanagement required to get quality work out of him/her would negate the savings. Unfortunately I chose not to listen to his advice and hired Sailwind. I quickly developed the opinion that Christi Colabianchi has little understanding of the methods involved in performing actual labor. Sub-contractors even pointed this out to me, and her main sub confided in me that she was overwhelmed. This, coupled with her lack of time on the job site meant there was little quality control, and just as I had been warned, constant micromanagement was required to get a semi-decent product. Beginning with quality of product, for roughly 2 months I had 2 massive holes in my ceiling from the electricians falling through. I brought this up to her and she had no idea they existed.......2 months later! Why? Because she was rarely there. Additionally, some walls weren't square, there were several issues with installed lights not working, cracked tiles in the bathroom, malfunctioning plumbing......the list goes on and on. For one 4' section of unpainted baseboard they used 4 pieced together sections of scrap. In the end she flat out refused to honor her one year warranty and blamed me for the problems. Unfortunately I had already stupidly paid her for the 4th draw, so there was no fixing the mistakes. And then there's the issue with the subs. During a deployment a neighbor called to tell me that one of the contractors working on the house had "New American Nazi" stickers on his van. You can't make up this stuff! On three occasions we were told that the painter would be there on a weekend, and we arranged to board our dogs....surprise surprise, each time they were a no-show. The house would sit idle for weeks, and Christi's answer was always "we're working the permitting process". At one point I even refused payment and started looking for another contractor, but nobody was available to finish it on timeline, so I regretfully rehired her. To prevent others from having a similar experience I recommend that you get everything in writing! Several times during the remodel Christi would make suggestions, but she was so flighty that most of them never came to fruition. When I confronted her she would say that it wasn't in the contract and it was never discussed. For those of you about to go through this process, carry a binder with you and note every change. Have them sign and date it immediately. Also if the contract is over $30K get a lawyer to review it. A lot of these companies use generic contracts with ambiguous language. For instance, the language for my completion date said by XX date it would be "reasonably completed". There's really no way to quantify "reasonably complete", and when the project drags on and on you're SOL.

As it began i thought they were very thorough but it wasn't long before I realized things were missing. The first thing I noticed missing was a prescription drug. The ServPro employee returning to my home regularly was Chris (he listed his last name as ServPro so I don't know his real last name). Chris was the only ServPro employee at my home when the drug went missing. I live alone and I was missing my prescription so you do the math. That was the first thing because it was a drug I needed daily. I filed a police report but the drug was never returned. After i noticed the prescription was missing I began noticing other things missing. I found there were many things, like household products missing. Of course it's difficult proving theft so I just lost the items stolen. In addition, there were damages done to my home. Like, holes in the walls. Base boards were taken off and in the process of removing, holes were punched into the walls. A hole was also punched in the wall behind one of the doors. After the discovery of all the things missing and damages done, I was extremely disappointed that I had chosen ServPro. I'm relating my experience to alter anyone considering ServPro. Because of flooding, ServPro has unlimited access to the whole house and it's difficult to monitor things missing. ServPro must move everything out of the affected areas and that creates a mess and things are misplaced but not missing. ServPro did not finish the job. Base boards were not replaced and things moved out of the way were not put back in place. My moto when I have company after ServPro left is ""see it happened" The message I wish to convey is "Customer Beware" and monitor your possessions hourly, at least daily to insure you are not in my position after ServPro leaves.

Florida-Consumer beware. Get details in writing with the consideration of hiring this company out…read moreof Pensacola (owner Jake Petrovic). We were naive and got ripped off. We were told a quote based off the sq.ftg of our home. When they were finished ripping literally ripping sheetrock, removing much more than needed, not preparing our house professionally for the tear out like these companies are supposed to with covering belongings with plastic, etc. Lets just say when all said and done our house was DESTROYED much more than should have been, beautiful doors thrown out that most definitely been saved, they didn't tear out 2 bedrooms of walls (just ripped baseboard off ripping up walls), didn't remove kitchen, one wall in garage, main bath, master bath was destroyed removing the toilet for no reason, not covering up the sewer drain and now there is a ton of sheetrock debris in our pipes. They didn't even have a wet vac to clean up all the debris all over the place. What would you think? The bill would be quite less when all was done. Wrong. It was higher. When Jake was contacted about all this, he reduced the bill to where it was in the original quote of the whole house being done and we would have thought professionally. We had sheet rockers come to our house saying our tear out was definitely on the top list of worst seen especially when they measure the unusual heights of the cuts, all off measure with being able to cut a 8ft piece of sheetrock in half. Their cut measurements are all different heights and again making it very difficult for a sheet rocker to work with. We had someone from the city feel so bad about what we were charged for this mess, they brought us a Pinellas County Consumer complaint form to submit. There is a major amount of patch work, not just sheet rocking and blending in as should be which is costing us more than should have to finish closing up the walls. To top it off, we helped all weekend cleaning out debris, called the city to pick up the trash to which with the price they charged should have been hauled by them, bought them lunch and got backstabbed with a higher than expected bill. The amount of fans thrown all over the house was insane with thrown wires all over the place with major tripping hazards I had to clean up so we didn't trip over the total mess. 2 year young business with complaints and learning curves in progress. I lose sleep allowing this company to tear my house apart and feel sick just thinking about the experience we have been thru and providing a $8,000 deposit which they wanted. Just beware of the nice talk. It's all about the money and taking advantage of insurance. Not sure why this review is stating California. It was done in Florida.

He said he 'hand scrubbed' the whole crawl space area but I call BS. He never completed an inspection prior to hiring, he said the subfloor was sound based on the home inspection photos of the mold. Half the subfloor was actually rotten and we were falling through it once the carpet was up. He never came back out for a followup to make sure there was no active mold, never went inside. I have to hire another mold remediation company to come out now. He told me mold does not eat through wood. I am filing a complaint with the state against his license. He should not be performing mold mitigation. He charged me $12,500 for 1.5 days of work and the franchise told me I should have hired an industrial hygenist!! Yet thats not what I was told needed to be done!! Please beware of this company...he will screw you over big time and not take any responsibility!! We had to go buy sheets of plywood just so we could walk over the floors without hearing crunching or falling through! Such a waste of money!
