What I was originally shown was a lightweight piece with no metal. After my extraction (which took about an hour), I was given something totally different -- a large prosthetic that didn't fit right. I couldn't close my mouth properly and could barely talk without a lisp. The dentist tried to file it down, which just made it worse and left a gap between the roof of my mouth and the denture. When I said I was unhappy, she offered to cut it, but told me if she did, I wouldn't be able to eat with it. I agreed because I was sore and ready to go home, but the result is a prosthetic I can't wear at all. My insurance won't cover another one, so I'm just stuck with it. When I tried to talk to the office about it, they weren't kind or helpful -- and I was dismissed from the practice right after paying for the procedure. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but this experience left me disappointed and without a usable prosthetic. I hope sharing my story helps others ask more questions before committing to major dental work.

I get a phone call from them saying never to come back because my actions at the office were hostile and not up to their standards. REALLY !! the combination of plague and unemployment beyond my control means my oral hygiene has not been up…read moreto par of late. the brushing and flossing and rinsing have continued apace but without regular professional cleanings or assessment of my efforts. not surprisingly I wound up with a bad tooth in desperate need of attention... scary bad... so bad that the x-ray showed the middle of a molar as a cloudy blob :-( also had a cracked tooth that wasn't doing me any favors but funny thing about that is while poking around in my mouth the hygienist pushed the tooth back together! heard and felt it snap back in place and the pain was about cut in half immediately. neat! still had a raging infection in my jaw but way less total mouth pain... Dr Montgomery seems a decent and concerned individual. she came in to assess my situation and explain what my dental problems were and then sent me home with referral slips and a prescription for antibiotics. my x-rays were forwarded to the other doctors along with the notes so all I had to do was make the appointments and take my meds. when I get the urgencies all taken care of I'll be back in for the more mundane treatments and evaluations and some more roller massage chair. when society collapses and the barbarians commence to pillaging I hope someone has the sense to preserve the tools of modern dentistry. yea for teeth doctors plying their trade without pliers!
