The list of things she did (and neglected to do) in her 1 day at our house made it very clear that she hardly had any experience, or intuition with children. The worst thing she did was leave my very mobile 11 month old in a room, alone, on the floor where he could easily climb a sofa and fall off and become very hurt and perhaps something worse. This is all on recorded camera footage. He was completely unattended on a floor in a room, alone. The reactions from those at the Nanny Poppins Agency were a bit shocking. They didn't seem to be too upset about it. They actually were aggressive in their responses and had no sympathy about the whole situation. It's shocking. Rather they offered to extend the replacement time for hiring a new nanny. I wouldn't trust them or their vetting process ever again. I write this so that you do not work with them. Save yourself time, trauma, potential danger and stress and find another agency who actually does the job they say they will.
