If I could not find the supplements in the Sioux Falls area at other locations, I have found them at Wayne & Mary's - or they have offered to get them for me. They have been very helpful and unassuming any time I have gone into one of their stores. They are always very helpful and knowledgeable about products and healthy choice trends. If you are new to the area, they appear to be well networked and can give you suggestions for naturopaths, massage therapist or other alternative therapies in the Sioux Falls area. If they do not immediately have an answer, they will research for you. I am willing to pay a little more for the value!

Their food selection was inevitably disappointing--at least, when you're used to the co-op--and instead of the comforting hippie vibe I like to get in my natural foods stores I got that new agey crystal vibe. Not my cup of tea. Prices are spendy, too. So, uh, yeah. If you want crystals, go to the Butterfly Rainbow Center (yes, it's really a business). If you want natural foods, go to the co-op. Go to Wayne and Mary's if, uh...you're strapped for time or already on that side of town and don't want to waste any more gas.

I had a membership to Tryon, long story short my job ended and I was left unemployed. I couldn't…read moreafford the membership anymore and so I called Tryon to see what I had to do to cancel. Which was to my understanding at the time a month to month membership. At that point, I was instructed by one of the staff members to call back and they will let the phone go to voicemail and to leave my name and phone number and just note that I was going to cancel. I thought that was easy and so I called back a day later to confirm and the same worker said it was all taken care of, "no worries" he said. Several months later I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe Tryon a pretty hefty amount of money.. After speaking with the manager of tryon who, was very rude and unhelpful. The only thing he had to say was " it was the previous owner's fault". So I had to call the collection agency to see the statement and piece together what in the world happened, it turns out for several months tryon kept a bill running on my "canceled" membership that I had no knowledge or awareness of. I also asked for a copy of my contract since I didn't have a copy myself, I wanted to see why this "month to month" membership kept running way after I cancelled. After reviewing the contract, in the fine print way at the bottom of the contract where no one will look it says "In order to cancel a month to month membership you must write in a letter of your cancellation". A simple request the staff member "conveniently" forgot to mention at the time of my cancellation attempt. Hence being left with a bill for a gym membership that I was not using, along with non payment fees. No worries, my ass. When I was a member, the training staff seemed desperate for clients and pedaling some "Advocare" pyramid marketing scheme, selling way overpriced supplements in which they try to get their members who seem "business minded" to try to sell with them. And if you have your cell number on file, they will text you trying to sell you on selling Advocare. I am someone who doesn't like being sold to at anytime, especially not pyramid marketing 'snake oil" crap, and especially not while I am focusing on getting a good work out in. If you are going to work out here, bring headphones and a "Don't mess with me" face, just to keep the staff from hassling you. i have gone to a few different gyms in sioux falls, Tryon is the one I tell everyone to stay away from, I would advise going to Sanford's health center, for better equipment, more knowledgeable and professional staff and in general a much cleaner environment.
