The pain was such that I would need to sit for a short while until I was able to continue with the activity. During my first visit, I was thoroughly evaluated, treated with massage and stretches and given stretching exercises to do at home mornings and evenings. Within one week after several treatments I saw improvement and have religiously continued to do my "homework" stretches. And now, I am able to stand endlessly and can walk miles without experiencing any pain. He recommended the HYALGAN shots, and thanks to the tenacity of his staff with my insurance company, they were approved and i am now into my second shot out of five.... and yes already feeling great relief. I want to point out that Dr. Karkare was very firm in advising me that everybody reacts differently to this procedure and it may not be a quick fix but it will work in the end. I, fortunately, am one of the ones to respond quickly, thankfully!!!! Despite being over 60 miles from East Hampton, where I was vacationing for two months, I needed a colonic after finding them on Google. At the time, they were offering an incredible deal for a package of 3. I knew I had to purchase plus add an extra session to the initial package. I made it a priority to drive to them multiple times for 90 minute extended colonics. Despite initial nervousness about trying an open system without assistance from a Hydro therapist providing a body massage, I was surprised by the effectiveness of their machine and their "Detox Clay." The procedure went to plan, they did nothing above and beyond what they quoted us. I had a second consult with a different doctor, one more personable and thorough, and someone that really listened. Now I have 2 doctors, one I vibed with and dr. Kneessy. After hours of research online, reading reviews and testimonials, I made the best decision and chose the other Dr. Let me tell you, Dr. Kneessys office does NOT take rejection well. His office staff are argumentative and not professional at all. Like big kids stomping their feet because you chose not to go with them. My "free" consultation turned into a $425 bill. Unless you want to throw your money out, just don't bother going through the same headache I have. I'm sure Dr. Kneessy is a nice person, it's not so much his talent I am reviewing. It's his atrocious staff. Personally, after reading his reviews (or lack there of), it seemed like his strengths are with hand surgeries. These were my breast's on the table, literally. In the end I went with Dr. Romanelli...and have had a WONDERFUL experience. I am one week out of surgery and feel very confident and happy in my decision.
