The pain was such that I would need to sit for a short while until I was able to continue with the activity. During my first visit, I was thoroughly evaluated, treated with massage and stretches and given stretching exercises to do at home mornings and evenings. Within one week after several treatments I saw improvement and have religiously continued to do my "homework" stretches. And now, I am able to stand endlessly and can walk miles without experiencing any pain. I want to thank the professional, knowledgeable, and friendly Physical Therapists, as well as the assistants, at Spagnoli Physical Therapy for enabling me to continue with my active lifestyle.

I would like to add onto this review over a month later.... still in Dr. Karkare's care and now…read morealmost pain free in my knee joint. He recommended the HYALGAN shots, and thanks to the tenacity of his staff with my insurance company, they were approved and i am now into my second shot out of five.... and yes already feeling great relief. I want to point out that Dr. Karkare was very firm in advising me that everybody reacts differently to this procedure and it may not be a quick fix but it will work in the end. I, fortunately, am one of the ones to respond quickly, thankfully!!!! No one can know the pain one is in with bone on bone arthritis until you are experiencing it and I have never meant a Dr. more supportive, caring, understanding and determined to give a person relief from such pain until I had the privilege of being referred to Dr. Karkare! He is everything you want in a Dr. (bedside manner, skill and knowledge) all rolled into a very neat package!

The owner must be very difficult to work for as there are always new people working there and if you ask, " where's so and so ", it's always ' Oh, they're not here anymore '. It's a mill where the care is generally subpar, and you never get consistent care, always being treated by someone new. The care is generic at best. There is definitely something wrong with the owner, who appears to have delusions of grandeur. He constantly talks about himself as if he's God's gift to PT, but he really has very little hands-on talents, it's a modality-based practice with little or no hands-on treatment. I can do heat and stim, and ice myself at home. Once again, I strongly advise staying away from this weirdo and his subpar practice.
