Very unprofessional clinic. The reception staff (Yvonne) was extremely rude, constantly cutting me off and barely allowing me to explain my situation as a transfer patient. At the time I was only 11 weeks pregnant and had already completed an ultrasound and lab work for my current pregnancy. I explained multiple times that I had not yet had a full doctor's visit, so there was no additional documentation to provide. Despite this, the receptionists repeatedly insisted that I "should have more paperwork" and refused to listen when I explained that I did not. They denied me as a patient because they claimed there was "not enough data," even though they refused to properly review the documentation I already had. The entire experience was frustrating and disappointing, especially during pregnancy when compassion and professionalism matter most. I did not feel cared for or respected at all. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this clinic. read more

This place was a huge disappointment for several reasons: - I had a low placenta during my pregnancy and was told to not walk around. I asked for a handicapped tag or something since without it I'd have to walk far at work, and the front desk lady replied "those are really hard to get and there are a lot of people that have it worse than you" That is a terrible thing to say to a terrified pregnant lady, and she didn't even try or care. - most of my scary complications could have been prevented if the doctors and nurses cared. They ignored heavy bleeding and odd things on my ultrasound and took a wait and see approach. When I was rushed to the ER the emergency doctor was surprised at what he saw and I had to have emergency surgery. THIS COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED. I absolutely hate this place and suggest doing your research before coming here. read more

This review is for the admin team they have, they all need to be either retrained or fired for their lack of competence. They had me struggling for 3 weeks to schedule an appointment and although claimed to accept my insurance they stated they do not accept veteran referrals. My insurance is explicitly for veterans so accepting the insurance and later stating they can't provide care is just ridiculous. It took them 3 weeks to come to this conclusion... just now I was 15 minutes late to my appointment, because THEY SENT ME THE WRONG ADDRESS. I called when I realized THEIR mistake. Receptionist said ok, no problem, when I told them I would be 15 minutes late. Drove to correct address and was told I was past the grace period. They would have to ask if doctor could still see me. This was your office's fault, not mine! Don't waste your time here. Find a better doctor's office that is understanding and takes accountability for their errors. read more

I had people highly recommend, however we were late due to my daughter getting directions that were not correct, therefore arriving one minute after the grace period of 15minutes. I do understand that, what was something I didn't like was the fact they would not give her a note to return back to school. She was there just late. I am on hold FOREVER, then given the option to leave a message and have someone call back. I have done that, and NOT RECEIVED ANY FOLLOW UP. They are so nice here. The facility is clean and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Decor is new and modern. All the staff from the secretaries to the US techs to the Doctors are just so sweet. At first I thought everyone was drugged on some happy pills, but every time I return, the same thing, all smiles. I have to pinch myself or double check the mirror. I feel like I'm Beyoncé or something (no relation) lol. Dr Zhou is phenomenal. Bar none. She is personable, compassionate. Sweet. Thorough. She communicates well, and see her patients all herself so you don't have to go through an NP. And she always greets and says goodbye with a hug. A hug! I love her!! The US tech E. Vasquez, wonderful as well. She guessed the babies sex at 12 weeks (I'll come back and let you know if she was right) but she has 40 years of experience so I'm betting on her. So I can't name everyone because I'm bad with names. Oh and the phlebotomists are awesome too. And the people who take vitals and escort you to your room. And the ladies that check you out. Man they run this place like it's heaven. Haven't had a bad experience yet and honestly I doubt I will. I'm not a high maintenance personality at all, easy to please. And I am pleased. But you have to get past Yvonne at the front desk and that isn't the experience I need every time I need to make an appointment or follow up with something. She treated me like I was an idiot, and told me should couldn't even look up my insurance because my corporate insurance doesn't have a group number and the issue date wasnt on the card. She has a terrible attitude and turned me off to the entire clinic. Ill drive further away because the office staff and their competency is important too. There's lots of great Doctors in town without having to deal with Yvonne and the type of people they're apparently comfortable with working for them. read more

I was so looking forward to my appointment before I realized I completely wasted my time. After I had filled out their paperwork, the front desk lady told me they do not cover my insurance and shrugged her shoulders as if she didn't care. I booked an appointment over the phone and provided all the information they asked a week prior. Not once did they mention my insurance would not cover it. I had requested to leave work early, drove a good half hour or more to get there just so they can tell me that. What a waste of time! They could have called to notify me beforehand. I absolutely love CWCC!! Dr. Gibson delivered my first child in 2016. I've continued seeing her yearly for all OB related visits. We unfortunately had a blighted ovum in 2019 and Dr. Gibson made me feel very confident in her diagnosis and protocol after that. We are currently pregnant with our second child and I can't say enough great things about Dr. Gibson and NP Deona! I can't tell you how many times I've emailed Deona and she is always quick to respond and help when she can. I will never go anywhere else for my OB needs. read more

Dr. Zhou is the best doctor I had ever seen in the U.S. I have experienced multiple miscarriages after I had a daughter. At my last miscarriage, Dr. Zhou supported me and I could recover well both physically and mentally. Last year I had a baby boy. During the pregnancy, I had to do so many tests because of my age and previous miscarriages. Always Dr. Zhou and her staffs provided the necessary treatment and test and she cares about my family too. We had to deliver a baby at The Woman's hospital, (I do not have any good experience in this hospital), but I believe Dr.Zhou and her staffs took care of us a lot. All of the staff are very polite and working efficiently. I strongly recommend CWCC Pearland. read more

After my former OB-GYN sent a letter earlier this year announcing her retirement, I was left to find a new Dr. I sent out requests from my closest friends and family for recommendations and only received 3, but I will admit I procrastinated to make a final decision for whom I would go to. After 4 months or procrastination, I realized I had to get it out the way because I return back to work in July. A little more research and checking my coverage with my insurance led me to Dr. Ohlemacher's office. Plus, she grew up in the Houston area--she's giving back to her community, so I decided to call the office and make an appointment. The receptionist I talked to was very polite and patient. Once more I was able to make an appointment within the same month (I had to wait two months before my former OB saw me as a new patient)! The receptionist explained to me that if I brought the necessary paperwork to the appointment I wouldn't have to arrive so early (30 minutes according to one email I received). Everything that was stated to me over the phone was exactly what occurred when I came into the office. I handed my forms to the receptionist, I waited a few minutes to be seen, and was in and out before I knew it. I enjoyed Dr. O's bedside manner as well. Really sincere and thorough. The exam is the exam. It's not my favorite thing by all means to do, but Dr.O talked me through it and tried to finish as quickly as possible. What more can you ask for?! Check out is really easy as well. This office is very through and organized to that extent from the time you check in until you leave. I appreciate such a detail in my OBGYN and look forward to my next appointment NEXT YEAR. read more

Originally I gave a one star review because ten months after visiting the practice, I received bills I thought I had paid from their contracted lab. The lab was in network but the doctor was not? Ten months ago, I had to make a bunch of calls to the lab, doctor's office, and my insurance company to figure out the billing situation. It turns out the lab sends separate bills for prep and analysis, which is why I was being billed twice. The staff and CWCC was very genuine in wanting to help me and receptive to the feedback for their contractors. Dr. Ohlemacher herself is a friendly and enthusiastic doctor. read more

I can't believe I'm just now writing this review as I've experienced two pregnancies with CWCC, but I guess that's life with kids. There is no one else I would trust my babies with, even though the drive is over an hour round trip. We see Dr. Ohlemacher and NP Laurel Spence. Both are absolutely wonderful, as is the sonographer, Nu. I hear the same about the other practitioners at this practice. They are caring, personal, thorough, and have been so helpful through both pregnancies. Additionally, both deliveries went as smooth as possible, and Dr. O made me feel so safe, capable, and strong. She is the most amazing person to have in the room when you're bringing a life into the world. Our first came out not breathing with the cord wrapped and she kept us so calm and comforted. Once I had to visit the ER while she happened to be on call, and she came all the way down just to check in on me and give a hug. She didn't have to do that, but she does because she cares. I'm so thankful for her, her team and this beautiful office. I always say I couldn't do this without Dr. O, and while she assures me I could, I'm so glad I don't have to. read more

I saw Dr. Ohlemacher for my annual well-woman's exam. The appointment itself was pretty basic, but I ended up being there for just about 2 hours. That includes me showing up 15 mins before my appointment to fill out new patient forms and all the waiting around. Dr. Ohlemacher was very nice and knowledgeable. She answered any questions I had. A well women's exam isn't exactly what I call comfortable, but CWCC makes a great effort to make it a bit easier to get through. For example, the office itself was very calming in look and feel; there were fuzzy pads over the stirrups and it was also warm; Dr. Ohlemacher had very warm hands. She was quick with what she needed to do. My only complaint would be the wait in all areas of the office. I go in thinking all doctor's visits would take a while, but man two hours being in there was starting to get rough. The wait for an appointment is cray cray. Since my visit was an annual well-woman's exam, I wouldn't be very high on the priority list, so I waited about 1.5 months for an appointment with Dr. Ohlemacher. I have Aetna medical insurance, and they accept HSA for payment. read more

I see Dr. Ohlemacher and Laurel Spence at the Pearland location. I cannot express enough on how fortunate I am to have found such a wonderful office. Both Ohlemacher and Spencer are absolutely wonderful!!! Dr. Ohlemacher and Laurel Spence are both easy to talk to, they listen (which is such a rare gem) Plus, the office is super clean, relaxing, and in a convenient location for myself. My husband tries to go to every visit with me, and hasn't once complained on coming with me here (hey, that is good, right? lol) I love this location! I highly recommend this office. I haven't seen any other Dr.'s here (because I really like mine) but if they are anything like Dr. Ohlemacher / Laurel Spence, I am sure they are wonderful! If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place is horrible and doesn't care about its patients. I had the worst experience with this place. As I think of how much wasted time I spent going here, I get so upset! I came here in January and the doctor saw I had a cyst the size of a grapefruit, it was 10 centimeters to be exact. Well, she stated that since I was pregnant I had to wait until my second trimester to get surgery. My second trimester rolls around and no talk of the cyst has been mentioned. Until I asked, she said they would just keep monitoring it and keep and eye on it. Really? Keep an eye on it? It's huge any smart doctor knows that's not normal and it needs to be taken out. Even the ultra sound technician in her office knew it wasn't right! She would ask what the heck the doctor was planning to do about it because it was going to cause me problems. In late March my worst nightmare came true my right lower abdomen was causing me excruciating pain. I went to her office to see what could be done about this pain I wanted gone yesterday. I see her nurse practitioner and she says, "Since the baby is fine you'll just have to deal with the pain!" I wanted to scream in her face and tell her I wish she felt the pain I did! The doctor came to talk to me and she said she would refer me to another doctor and it would take a couple days. I didn't have a couple days lady I had hours!!! On Tuesday I realized how worthless this place was and made an appointment with another doctor. The appointment was made for 1:30pm at 4:00pm I was getting prepped for surgery. The cyst was twisting and had cut off the blood supply to my ovary. The ovary was pretty much dead and had to be taken out. The new doctors and their staff were amazing. I like to say they saved my life! They acted fast and knew what had to be done on my first day of seeing them. I had spent 3 months here and all they did was suck me for my money! & didn't help for squat! Don't go here. Explore other options you'll be thankful you did. read more

I plan on finding a new OB this year after having my son with CWCC in 2017. It's clear after having a child with them that they are more focused on pushing patients through than the patient themselves. PRENATAL CARE: You're paying depending on your insurance about $3-5k for a DR and get a PA. I have NOTHING against nurses or PA's, in fact, my delivery nurse was the best thing that happened to my delivery experience.. but if I'm paying a hefty dollar for a Dr than I want to know upfront what I'm getting. 80% of my appointments leading up to birth, my postpartum care, and any other random visits were with a PA. Not the dr that you build a relationship with. **** Near 33ish weeks pregnant I was complaining about back pain and not being able to walk (which I later learned after delivery was my sons head pushing against my nerves). The PA prescribed muscle relaxers to me in my DR's name (so my Dr signed for this) because she said that was better than taking Tylenol. I of course took them (trusting my dr and PA) for some length of time until I realized it wasn't working either. When I came back in and actually saw my Dr, I told her and she said she would prefer if I didn't take them. She was almost surprised seeming.**** THE BIRTH: I have always loved my dr, but it wasn't worth them pushing csections (because your dr is only scheduled certain days at the hospital so if you want her to deliver you, than you have to schedule a csec) and not really knowing who was going to deliver me. Ended up having an emergency csec with a dr I didn't even know which made me uncomfortable. She was super nice and didn't do anything to make my experience negative, just wasn't a dr I knew anything about besides that she worked at CWCC. Also, I was given soooo much pain medicine which the dr must have not been monitoring that I was completely knocked out on the OR table after delivering because of whatever the anesthesiologist gave (I realize this dr is separate from my OB but I feel my OB should monitor this up to delivery). After we went to recovery I was again completely gone. I was awake but talking nonsense and I couldn't hold my baby. Once we went back to our room I was more lucid but I realized I was super high from the pain meds and still could not manage to hold my baby for almost 6 hours after he was born. It wasn't until the next day that I felt like I could comprehend what happened because most of the meds had worn off (obv the epidural was still in at this point but whatever was given while I was on the OR table had finally worn off). +++ This is only my opinion and experience that I wanted to share with others so they can make an informed decision. Please do not take this as hate. CWCC has always provided KIND service. However, I do not feel it was the best possible CARE for me and my child and I will choose a new OB for any future pregnancies and services. +++ read more

AMAZING Drs at this practice both in the Med Center and in Pearland. I have been going to this practice for 10 years (cysts and 2 pregnancies) and they are amazing! Dr. O is great! She was my primary throughout my 2nd pregnancy. She is so sweet and patient. Aside from how sweet everyone is they are excellent OB/gyns. I had some serious pregnancy issues both times and they got me through (full-term and safely). They are great! Pearland residents are lucky that they have a beautiful office in the area. read more

I've been here four times now and I've always experienced exceptional service by everyone from the people at the front desk to the doctors. Everyone is super nice! What's wonderful about the doctors is that they sit with you, talk to you, LISTEN, and discuss what's going on. They hear you out and do not make you feel like you have to do what they recommend, but provide you with options. They're very good about making sure that everything is taken care of with follow-up appointments, etc. I don't want to ever go anywhere else and I even changed my insurance this last year so that I would be covered here, prior to that, I payed out of pocket because I loved it so much here and it was worth it to me. read more

While the facility is really nice and our doctor was good I feel the facility si not financially responsible. My wife had to move to a High Risk pregnancy doctor and they said they will refund for the payment already made for the duration of the full pregnancy. It has been more than 3 months but I have not received any refund. Whenever I make a call to them there is some excuse about insurance to clear up first. VERY POOR ACCOUNTING TEAM. read more

Scheduled an appointment due to dysfunctional vaginal bleeding. The doctor was very dismissive and did not see the need for me to have an ultrasound to find out the cause for the bleeding. Appeared as if she was in a rush to go somewhere. I even had to push to have my progesterone tested. Who would think that you would go in to see a doctor, especially in a practice that's all-female who would not sympathize with your situation. I could be bleeding internally right now but the doctor could not take 10 minutes of her time to see to this ...despite the fact that I stated I had bleeding ranging from red to brown almost everyday since my period ended 15 days ago. The doctor is Lauren Gibson. The way I was treated, you would have thought I had a communicable disease. read more

I wanted to put something up here because Dr. Jessica Ohlemacher practices at this location. Dr. Hardwick Smith is my primary doctor(reviewed her as well..she rocks), but I have seen Dr. Ohlemacher on a couple of occasions both in the hospital and here at this clinic location. I cannot stress how great she is! Her care and compassion are genuine and were very much needed at time when I was just out of surgery, did not feel well, and had issues that needed to be addressed. If you are in the Pearland area and need an AWESOME OB\GYN, Dr Ohlemacher is the one to choose! I just love her. You will not be disappointed. :) They just expanded their office upstairs from the original downstairs location to a beautiful one that is even bigger and better! Check it out! read more

After my former obgyn horrible experience. I'm so glad I found Complete Womens Care even tho I have to drive 1hr away it's seriously worth it! The facility is great you don't have to pay for parking which is always a plus and inside the clinic is is so clean and organized. Makes you feel at home. It's also very spacious! The decor is phenomenal and so modern! When I walked in I automatically knew I was going to like it here. They have awesome photography on the walls also! The best part is that I had such an awesome experience here!! The staff members are soo friendly especially the front desk ladies! I had Dr. Beilan Zhou and she is seriously the BEST OB-GYN out there! She is soo patient and will actually take her time and talk to you and explain everything, never in a rush! I've never met a doctor that was so friendly like Dr. Zhou! She's seriously the sweetest! She greets you with a hug and leaves with a hug, made me feel like family, Love her she's the best! If I could give CWCC more than 5 stars, I would. I've been a patient there for many years and depending on my need, whether it was a scheduled appointment or an urgent care appointment, I've seen two different doctors and the NP they have in the office. Every one of them have been kind, sensitive, caring, compassionate, and willing to listen. From the moment I check in, until the moment I check out, I'm given respect, the time to listen, ask questions, and understand every detail of treatment, care, and billing. As with any doctor's office, yes, there have been wait times...there have also been times I've walked straight back, been seen, and left in less time than anticipated. Up until this year, I've used CWCC for general GYN needs, however, this year I find myself with OB needs (YAY) and am just as satisfied in their level of care and commitment. OF course I've had a hiccup every now and then. Once with billing and once in scheduling, but I can appreciate the fact that they are only humans just as much as I appreciate the humanity that they bring into their practice. I would not recommend this Gynecologist to anyone. If i could give it a no star rating I would. Now i can only personally speak for Dr. Shah who I had only seen twice. Once for my all women's exam and another for a personal issue. She made me feel so insignificant when i asked her questions. I know that some of my questions were extremely vague however she is a doctor and should know how to help her patients rather than smerking when talking to me. When she would ask me questions i would answer and she would insist in me changing my mind. As if she only wangted me to spen money on her stupid suggestions. Did i mention she also took it to the extreme to bring up cancer when i literally had just been to her office 2 months before my last visit and she said everything was 100% fine with me. If you must go to this clinic just do not go see this doctor and go with someone else so they dont try to suck you into doing all the tests.
