She even catches a whole lot of things that the other specialists overlook, constantly. I know how ponderous and cumbersome reading reviews can get, but please know that Dr. Sarraf is the real deal. Her knowledge is fantastic and she knows how to relate her cardiology profession to the other interdisciplinary professions, thereby helping alleviate my symptoms. Since lupus attacks everything, this is incumbent. As a most recent example, she caught something that a primary care physician did wrong. PCP said my cholesterol was 'high', but Dr Sarraf said to completely disregard the lab values because the doctor "forgot" to have me fasting before drawing the labs. Simple things like that so many professionals carelessly miss! But not Dr. Sarraf! For once, at least I know I can relax a little knowing that this doctor will take care of me, not to mention her level of professionalism. Dr. Sarraf can be away on vacation, but she will still call me back the same day, and oftentimes right away! She is exceedingly accommodating, at the very least. I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. Keep up the great work! *Important: Regarding the online presence: Thankfully Dr Sarraf is excluded from this but regarding other offices, you must beware and take heed: **Review sites and doctors corroborate together to silence the consumer even more: When doctors pay Healthgrades, Vitals, etc. for a premium subscription, or just give them money in general, bribes, etc., as usual and as one example, they allow for doctors to hide 3 or more reviews that they arbitrarily dislike. Again, this is just one unethical tactic out of many they use. As a result, I truly applaud all those consumers who muster up the courage to write a review that is both truthful and that addresses the concerns of that doctor and its facility. There is always at least some validity in the negative reviews that are getting pummeled by bribes and bots and solicitations to get more positive reviews. Telling the truth is harder than choosing the path of least resistance and 'going with the flow'. Make no mistake about it, these providers are very savvy, so do not fall for all their deceitfulness. (Again, Dr. Sarraf excluded from here). Be wise and notice the slew of positive reviews- because they are being solicited constantly during and after appointments, to write five stars and people want to be welcomed into their office and would rather not voice the truths. In summary, I recommend Dr. Sarraf with no reservation. But please scrutinize other offices. Keep up the great work!

My son lives on west side rushes in to see me , immediately consult friends who are doctors what to do . My daughter who lives in London happened to have business meeting in SF drove all the way to LA to check on me . I was very stressed out & worried & scared because I live by myself . The Dr David Lee showed up as my cardiologist. When I first met him , he was smiling , calm , caring & very attentive to what is happening . After all these tests are done , he told me I have no major issue in my heart . I follow through with his office in Arcadia . He is very caring about my health & how I live my lifestyle to maintain a healthy heart ! He is super caring doctor , smart , attentive & I am very blessed to be his patient . Thier office called me and when I picked up they hung up, so I immediately returned the call. I was listening to the phone ring for 30 minutes. Gave up. Tried again a few minutes later, 30 minutes later gave up. Tried again and after 20 minutes I got hold of a human who told me about an appointment I have been scheduled for. What if I had not persisted? They told me they don't use their patient portal because all their patients are computer illiterate. I am a programmer with 35 years of experience and I seriously doubt their clientelle are computer illiterate. Nothing is done on time ever. Communication of any sort is nearly impossible. Otherwise, their doctors are great -- some bean counter convinced them to slash their office staff to nothing. They can barely manage.

When I called to make an appointment, the front desk was pleasant and polite (phew!) and quite efficient, asking me to text my insurance information to verify coverage. When I called back 30 min later I was able to get an appointment fairly quickly. The doctor himself is very kind, patient and thorough, addressing all my questions. He recommended a colonoscopy and mammogram, and even referred me to a specialist I can look into. My prescriptions were sent electronically to my pharmacy, so I can just pick up when they're ready. The doctor and his staff speaks English and I confirmed they speak Mandarin too, great for when my parents are in town. There was a patient that came in as an emergency, and I was glad to see they accommodated him politely. Glad to finally find myself a solid primary care physician! P.S. they are moving a block down in Aug. 2024.

We explained to the PCP the situation he redirected us to this location after we expressed the urgency of the matter and for the sole reason it needed to be done for an upcoming surgery that had to be rescheduled due to the cardiology clearance piece. We were pressed for time. The office staff was not empathetic to our needs they treated my mom as a number they didn't care this was an urgent matter the PCP called for a peer to peer to get the clearance they said "they are busy and dont have any appointments" They proceeded to say they can only see her the day before the surgery, a week and a day after the test late appt as well end of day almost (3pm) to give her the stress test results. They also lied and said they called City of Hope were she was having her surgery and they were ok getting the results the day before surgery. i called to confirm and they never got a call from this place. As a result now my moms surgery has been delayed again! They were not resourceful, empathetic, or caring. If it weren't because our hands are tied at the moment i would not continue the test here. But if you have a loved one that needs immediate attention. I don't recommend you take them here. What a let down after reading all the great reviews. Do better!!

This is an update to my original review of Dr Rasania. This Cardiologist "showed up" at my follow…read moreup visit. Dr Rasania provided me with the results of my Echo Cardiogram, and was very straightforward with an apparent diagnosis. I'll still need 2 more invasive tests before he can go ahead with my surgery. Unfortunately for me, these tests cannot be done until Jan, 2026. This is frustrating, and a bit alarming for me. I'm not feeling well, get short winded easily and at 80, I'd like to be able to enjoying my life for as long as I have! It getting back to Dr Rasania, I'm completely satisfied with him and am happy to say he provided me with time, answered questions, and looked me in the face as we talked this time. I felt he was really engaged.
