As I sit and read through some of the reviews, I am honestly shocked--because my experience with Dr. Waldrop at Comprehensive Neurology has been nothing but exceptional! My final visit was on 03/25/25, and from start to finish, Dr. Waldrop showed genuine care and attentiveness. He truly listened to me. Based on the honest details I shared about my symptoms, he promptly ordered the appropriate tests--an MRI and a memory test--and both results came back normal for my age. That gave me so much peace of mind! Whenever I called the office, they answered. If I had to leave a message for Lisa in the billing office , I received a call back. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and kind, which really made the whole process comforting. The only hiccup I had was with GPS--it took me to another location because I was navigating under a mild concussion. I would have been late, if I don't make it a habit to leave out early. After seeing many times over several years, kept getting gaslit on diagnoses. Ignored symptoms, labs and MRIs as well as other specialist's reports. Sought second opinion and was diagnosed immediately and a treatment plan developed using the same details. Harris wanted to put off as migraines but two other specialists confirmed MS! Mayo and Atlanta Neuroscience. Consistent issues with office staff on paperwork and scheduling plus snotty attitudes. Calling in is a joke - literally have to go to the office for anything. Glad I finally found a more kind, empathetic and respectful practice with providers much more interested in getting to a real diagnosis than grasping at first easy symptom to treat and dismissing further discussions about overall concerns. 2 schedulers made racist comments. Extremely cruel multiple times for zero reason. Zero professionalism from all support staff (tons of interactions). Pursuing legal action w/ lots of evidence + witness testimonies- I'll never stop. I did nothing that could be misconstrued as wrong. read more

I would love to give ZERO stars, but unfortunately that is not an option. I was only trying to get an appointment and the staff was short, if not rude. Said they didn't receive a referral, when my primary is in the same building and assured me they had sent it. My primary even stated they had trouble with the staff "not receiving referrals" and frequently have to hand deliver them, which is what happened today. After several calls with more than one putting me on hold for 20+ minutes I finally get an appointment for mid-July!!! Tell me that up front!!! I will never use nor recommend this practice and will be informing my primary as well. read more

I had an appointment and had the time wrong. I was 30 minutes late and told I would have to reschedule and the receptionist refused to talk to anyone. This office needs a revamp. Dr. Waldrop is nice and good, listens, and tries to help you, but there seems to be no communication between Drs. and the staff. I came from a different neurologist who was amazing, and the office was running efficiently with care and follow ups to make sure patients were treated as needed and the Drs. revenue stream was consistent and I'm sure maximized. Dr. Waldrop gets 4 stars, but the office as whole gets one. read more

The doc is fine but the office is not. They fail to send referrals and orders so you're basically stuck. We called them a few times and were promised a call back. 2 hours later when we heard nothing we tried to call again but they closed at 3pm!!!!! Checked with the hospital and they have not received the doctor order so won't schedule my tests. One would expect that they would abide by their SLAs and understand the time sensitivity of having to schedule tests when you are heavily impacted by an ailment and don't know what it is and can't be treated. read more

This is the worst neurological practice I have ever been to. Nobody answers the phones let alone call you back. Voicemail after voicemail each day and nothing. They fail to send over needed documentation or referrals. It's a nightmare. They won't release me or renew my short-term disability until I take another test that I cannot afford. They are basically denying me of going back to work until I find money to pay for this one last test when all others have been normal. This place is a joke. read more

I never been so humiliated in my life I was denied from seeing the doctor for a past due balance for a copayment from May. I seen the doctor in November and was never told I had a balance. I ask to pay the copayment for today's visit and pay the balance next Friday and the still denied me. The Doctors are great but the people in the front treated me with no respect! They continue to talk over me, dismiss my emotions and denied me from seeing the doctor I have a nerve condition in which I need my medication. Thus far, I've only seen Deborah Murray and have been very pleased with her. However, the methods of available communication and attitude of some of the office staff leaves a lot to be desired. I just had a very rude exchange with Zoyla and the person she passed me to while I was still talking; Vernetta. Very 'defensive' personalities. When I am told an authorization is in process I am expecting any doctor's office to be truthful. First time to ever post a review for a physician, but I was incredibly impressed with him and want other migraine sufferers to benefit from his expertise/approach. He took his time throughout the comprehensive consult and was an attentive listener. Genuinely sought to understand patient's full history so he could see both big and small picture. His treatment plan was well thought out, sensible and very well explained. He even suggested proven and well researched supplements in addition to RX drugs including very specific info like dosages and what specific types. SO THRILLED TO HAVE A WONDERFUL NEUROLOGIST NEARBY. His office is right across the street from Johns Creek Emory hospital. read more

This practice is obviously only for patients with the elite level of health insurance. If you have a lesser plan look elsewhere.

While the Dr. was nice when I finally saw him, I had to wait an hour and a half for my appointment. They were completely unapologetic, then I got a lecture from his office staff that this is just how it is if I want to see him. Weeks later after my follow up appt. had been scheduled to receive Botox, the office staff calls to tell me they now have to push it back another 4 weeks because they haven't even filed it with insurance yet to get it approved, again unapologetic, telling me there are people dealing with more pressing health issues than mine! Had I known it was going to take months, I could have gone to see another doctor. Complete mistreatment of patient and office staff is belligerent. read more

I have been a patient at this practice for 10 years or so, travelling over an hour each way to get there. Yes, the wait time can be frustrating; however, when it is my turn, I have the full attention of whomever is treating me (Dr. Harris or PA Murray) and am not rushed out the door. Comprehensive service takes time; if you are in a hurry, early morning appointments are great. I feel my issue is always thoroughly explored, options are laid out in full, and I get resolution, rather than having drugs pushed at me as the sole option, as has happened at other neurologists. The staff has been warm and helpful in my experience, and portal queries are answered quickly. All of this leads me to, time and again, recommend this practice to those searching for a neurologist. read more

Do not look for any sympathy from their PA Deb Murray - she could care less what is going on with you - can't pay hundreds for all the test and she was cold and couldn't care less - I was upset and she was no help or comfort that I couldn't pay - it was all my fault!! My mother and my wife love Dr. Harris and the staff. So why the 2 stars. Manly the wait time. The appointment was at 10:15. My mother was not taken back until 11:00. Then she did not come back out for an hour and a half. This was the same with the last two visits as well. If you come here make sure you have nothing else planned for the day. read more

I have never met a group of people that are so helpful and kind. They have always made me feel cared for and kept me informed about anything to do with my health. Deb Murray is one of the most compassionate people I've met! The staff is great too. They answer all of my questions and help guide me in the right direction. I once had a concern and wanted to see my doctor as soon as possible and Terry Shields, the practice admin was able to fit me in the same day. I recommend this office to anyone, every one is so nice and they're great about working with my crazy schedule. read more

The staff at this facility called us at the last minute to say that they will not be able to keep our appointment as they accidently double booked 2 patients at the same time. My husband was scheduled for a test that requires him to stay sleep deprived and hungry. We both had taken the day off from work so we could have this test completed. We were right outside the facility when we received the call so obviously we were upset. We tried to check with the staff if they can take us at a later time the same day as we both had taken the day off and were willing to wait. We were connected to the Administrator Terry Shields who told us that there was nothing she could do , and that we were creating an "unnecessary hassle". We thought she did not understand the situation so tried to explain that it was the clinic staff that double booked the appointment. Her response to that was to ask us to "Just leave" and find another doctor. We were shocked at such behavior and her audacity to practically ask us to "F___off". Being my reasonable self, I tried to gently reason with her and to my utter amazement, She threatened that unless I drop it , she is going to put a note on our account that we are "trouble".. We have been shocked with this experience. Not once did anyone from the staff apologize for their screw up. Instead, they bullied and threatened us. It is so unfortunate for patients to have the deal with these kind of people in the name of "Health Care professionals". read more
