Everything about CSCC sucks I have never actually seen a Dr just PAs. I ask for some continuity of care and they keep scheduling me with different PAs. The last PA ( Tetyana ) I talked to virtually basically didnt listen to a word I said (and I still had to pay a co-pay and the same rate as an in person visit with an actual doctor). Got billed for the setup of a travel CPAP and the damn thing was set to default and about blew my head up like a cartoon balloon. Trying to get the bill fixed for lack of setup has been a frigging joke. Al they need to do is an adjustment but it has been "escalated to the office " to two weeks now. Whenever you call you get a call center in India and you cant understand them ( they will claim they are in Landsdowne when they are clearly in a BUSY call center in India ). It is IMPOSSIBLE to talk to a knowledgeable person in the office In the USA that can actually , cogently address any problem . If I didnt need to get a re-auth for DME I would never have dealt with this clown-show. Now I am done with them. read more

After four months, the billing issue was resolved. How? I don't know. Never heard from anyone at CSCC. In March I scheduled my sleep study for July 2nd. Received a text on June 20th, that "due to the authorization expiring, we would need to reschedule your appointment allow time for authorization resubmission. Please call back on Monday..." This has been scheduled for months and they wait until Saturday to text me?! If they'd texted or called me last week or any of the intervening months since scheduling this would have been taken care of. Perhaps every sleep center is trash. I don't know. But this one definitely is. They don't even care about bad reviews. Maybe if enough people tell their PCPs and insurance companies how bad the service is and then are no longer recommended or listed as a covered provider, they'll care. Unfortunately zero stars is not an option. read more

They are a sleep mill whose purpose is to charge your insurance for durable medical equipment. I tried to start wiith an in-home sleep study, but the equipment they provided for the study was old and wrecky. It could not keep the contacts stable even when I didn't move, so there was no chance it would ever gather enough data to work. Surprise, they wanted me to do an expensive in-office study since the in-home didn't work. No way I would turn myself over to people with outdated equipment, and they also didn't care very much. read more

One star because I can't put zero. Sleep study and CPAP fitting technicians are generally nice, but their personalities are truly to only good thing I have to say. I have been using CSCC for a few years for my sleep apnea, and I am officially DONE. They have bounced me around from doctor to doctor, incorrectly charged me (I will meet my deductible and they will try to charge me $300+ after, claiming I haven't despite my insurance stating that I've met my deductible). I could not get my DME for 6 months due to their negligence and incorrect billing, no matter how many times I called them and attempted to get them to listen to my insurance. I will ensure I paid IN OFFICE and would receive a "past due" notice for the same appointment a week later, even after verifying that I had covered my account balance. Then, they send me to collections, despite the fact that I have been incorrectly billed. I have not seen the same doctor consistently, having been bounced around to different physicians throughout my time as a patient. CSCC has also continued to attempt to charge me for DME and care after the date that I informed them I would be transferring my care. I would not recommend CSCC if you care about your sleep health or a competent practice read more

My mother had a sleep study last night and it was awful. First, she did not get instructions on where to park or what door to enter as it was after hours. Then they were surprised she requested to turn the TV on, they did not have a remote so she was stuck watching/listening to one channel. She requested a recliner to sleep in before her appointment. She gets there and it is for a tall large man. She is 4'9", so, she was not able to get comfortable either for this study. The tech then proceeded to wake her up at 445am to fix a lead. My mother then said, they should finalize the study. The tech asked her why she didn't want to finish the study. My mother stated (roughly), you expect me to fall asleep again (15 min) to be finished at 5am. The tech, arrangements and care were extremely subpar to say the least!! She couldn't get out of there fast enough!!! read more

Absolute terrible outfit. It has been one awful experience after another. I STRONLGY encourage anyone considering this practice to run, don't walk as far away as possible. In all fairness, my doctor was great. That said, every other aspect was terrible! Customer service.....terrible. Billing......terrible. Just a couple of examples......when requesting assistance while leaving an appointment, I was told by the front desk staff that they were on lunch and I would have to come back later, while they are literally sitting at the front desk! They charged more for visits than insurance allows in the EOB. On the phone, they admitted the overcharge and said they would refund the money. But after months of waiting and multiple calls, I had to dispute the charge on my credit card before getting anything back. The actual doctor was polite, but didn't help my daughter much beyond what can be found on an Internet search when the sleep study didn't turn up anything. read more

It is absolutely impossible to get any communication with a doctor here after you receive your medical equipment. You cannot leave a message for your doctor if you are having any issues with your equipment settings, instead, they want you to come in for an appointment which could be weeks out preventing you from being able to use your equipment for weeks. read more

Negligence that delayed my child's surgery. We scheduled a critical diagnostic study two months ago at Comprehensive Sleep Care Center. It was required before my child's surgery. I even called just yesterday to confirm, and I was told everything was fine. Then, less than 24 hours before the appointment, it was canceled. The reason? They never submitted the insurance authorization. Their excuse was, "We're transitioning." This is not a minor mistake. It is blatant administrative negligence. Their disorganization and failure to communicate caused a delay in my child's care and serious stress for our family. If your child needs timely and coordinated care, look elsewhere. read more

The WORST. While the sleep study was fine, the staff and billing is HORRIBLE. They set up a tele-visit and never sent the information to connect. When I rescheduled they admitted they had 'forgotten' to email me the confirmation. For the rescheduled appointment, we were supposed to be setting up the follow-up sleep study as we had already had the sleep study and pediatric follow-up several months before. They then billed me for a pediatric medical visit for a 5 minute conversation with me where they did not see my daughter (she was in school), do any medical exam/questions/or literally put eyes on her, or provide any service other than scheduling. This place is sketchy at best but I suspect engaged in insurance billing fraud. read more

Like others on Yelp, my experience with CSCC (Alexandria office) was almost a joke; however, I am not laughing, First, no one answers the phone and there is a long wait for return calls. When I finally had an apppointment months after trying, I got dressed, make up, etc. only to be emailed that my in person appt was canceled that day but they could do a Zoom. The dr was clearly disinterested, said she didn't have the results of my sleep study (which I had uploaded to them 2 months prior) and, when I told her this, "Oh, ok.". We were on the phone for less than 10 mins. and I was billed for 60 minutes. I was supposed to be contacted by their CPAP supplier and they were just as bad. Left a message, I called back immediately and no answer. Crickets. Save yourself frustration and select a sleep study group with great reviews. I would give them a '0' if I could! Have been trying to get a CPAP for over 3 months now! The worst communication ever. read more

Completely incompetent billing department. I sent them money to have it returned then they called me for collections and having sent them money I disputed it. Finally when I realized they returned my payment through my insurance portal, I paid them again. Then recently I went in and was told everything was covered by insurance and I even asked before checkout if I owed anything. 5 days later I see a charge for more than $300 on my credit card on file. I came here and saw Katheryn Soto - my experience with her specifically was disappointing. I felt invalidated, unheard, and rushed in my appointments with her. I also felt judged; I had an unrelated sinus surgery and received lots of unsolicited feedback about how it wouldn't cure apnea, which I was under no impression it would. And, she is also apparently incompetent. She misdiagnosed me with OSA and sent me for a CPAP sleep study. I raised concerns about the diagnoses in that appointment ahead of the second sleep study, which she ignored. I without a doubt have CSA and the CPAP sleep study severely worsened my symptoms resulting in an ER visit the next evening, from which I am still recovering. It was just luck that I had scheduled a follow up with a different doctor the day after. He reviewed the results from both sleep studies and noted it was 100% CSA and I should not have had a CPAP sleep study. The relief I felt when I was validated by my new doctor and receiving the right diagnoses was immense. I do not recommend this provider, the practice has other great providers - make appointments with them. read more

I've seen negative reviews but my experience has been very good so far. I went for my sleep study, Candice was great! This was the Fredericksburg facility. She was very comforting. I slept well. I picked up my cpap in Herndon. That also went very well. I really don't like the mask but I'll follow up on that. The doctor, he's been very good as well. Everything has been timely. Had a 1 pm appointment in the Arlington location and arrived at 12:50 pm. 2 others had appointments at 1 and 1:15 pm. The sign on the door stated they were at lunch until 1 pm. At 1:15 no one had arrived so I called the scheduling number since that's the only number that they publish. I was told to just wait until someone arrived. I pushed back on that and they attempted to call the staff and was not getting a response. At 1:25 pm, the staff finally showed up and said they informed: "the techs to let us in". read more

I wouldn't take your child here if he or she has any underlying medical issues / sleep apnea. My daughter has a chronic lung disease and sleep apnea. We were trying to avoid having to travel to our specialists in another state to do a sleep study and I read all the great reviews on their website so decided to give them a shot. The technician was completely clueless about what my daughter was there for and had no idea how to administer or monitor oxygen which is required for any pediatric sleep study. She admitted to not feeling comfortable with what needed to be done so we walked out at 11pm. She was juggling other adult patients and I don't see how she could have given the proper attention to her during the night anyway. The next day, the sleep doctor called me apologetically and promising that they would reschedule us with their best technician. I never heard from them and my calls went unreturned. Waste of time and an unnecessary stressful ordeal . They only post their 4 and 5 star reviews to their website . Will never return to the Leesburg location . We were willing to give them another chance but their lack of follow up shows poor customer service or care. This was back in Dec 2023 so they have had plenty of time to follow up with us. read more

One star for this company and that's only because of the doctors. The rest of the staff here is totally terrible. I made the mistake of signing up for supply auto-shipments, for my CPAP equipment. Sounds like a good idea, they are supposed to call first before sending to see if you need your supplies replenished. Well that doesn't happen and they send you the wrong masks. When you call them to let them know that you received incorrect equipment (mask) they tell you to keep it, but then months and months later they bill you for it anyway. When trying to dispute the billing, their billing office plays hard to get, not answering phones live, asking you for voicemails with details, but nothing ever gets accomplished. I attempted emails as well, but zero response. I was even scheduled with the wrong doctor for my second appointment and both the doctor and I were confused as to why we were meeting. Ridiculous. Their billing was so delayed and didn't include any correct dates on it which makes it impossible to reconcile. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Worse medical office I've ever been to. Seems like a scam. Turns out they also misdiagnosed me with sleep apnea based on only 2 hours of sleep when I was having allergies and given sleep drugs, as the apnea was not present when seeing a more reputable doctor's office. There were too many red flags to go into. The big ones are that you can't reach them on the phone without waiting an hour on hold, the doctor does not respond to medical questions about medication, and the technician for my sleep study looked exhausted and expressed that they were barely paid enough. They billed my insurance for a lot of money and then said it while necessary to have a dental device, I could only get one from them because my insurance would only authorise it through them. I called my insurance to confirm this and it was not true. At best they are bad doctors at worst it's insurance fraud, please look into alternatives. read more

From start to finish, the whole process was quick and easy. Initial testing to see if I needed the CPA machine was very easy. The insurance end of it was also surprisingly simple. I just had my fitting today with Mehjabeen at the Rockville office, and she is amazing. She gave me a thorough explanation on the use of the machine, answered all of my questions with ease, and always made me feel very comfortable. I was a patient of this practice for several years and expected most of the problems indicated in other reviews. The sleep study rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable, as others have indicated, however by their very nature sleep studies are neither fun nor comfortable. The biggest problem with this practice is their billing and office staff. I made an appointment for the Leesburg office and arrived at the appointed time to be told I had missed my appointment at another office that morning. Billing was ALWAYS messed up. Twice I was told just to ignore the bill because their office had temporarily dropped our insurance coverage. Both I and my husband were encouraged to have new sleep studies every two years. After changing to a new practice, we were floored to be told that continual sleep studies were not necessary! Both of us left this practice and are much happier with our new doctor whose practice is much more together. I read more

Trying to get a prescription is always one of the worst experiences EVERY MONTH. You would think your prescription woukd be called automatically, but it NEVER IS. When you call for a refill, nobody ever answers. The message says somebody will get back to you in 24 hours...NEVER HAPPENS. I've called 3 times...no callback...no prescriptions called into pharmacy. I've been using the Lansdowne branch of the Sleep Care Center since a year ago. My old CPAP machine was starting to show wear and tear and was no longer covered under my insurance. Once I had my sleep study done and was eventually sent my Luna II machine, I needed to have my air pressure increased. After speaking with the doctor virtually, I asked her some questions regarding masks. She told me that a technician would be in touch later the same day. I had the pleasure of speaking with Christine Welch from the Woodbridge/Dumfries Clinic. She was awesome! Very friendly, very professional, very kind, and knowledgeable. Two starts only because of the doctor.I am not struggling with sleep issues; I am struggling with your processes (not the doctors)! No one answers my phone or emails. The best you are doing is setting appointments (Why should I have another doctor appointment who is not even my doctor, while I should have technical assistance to order my CPAP supplies, and of course, I have to pay) and charging. And the one time I got an answer on the phone for a quotation for CPAP supplies, the guy asked me the address to send the insurance claim to, and did not want to move any further without the address!!! As if you do not know where to send an Anthem insurance claim!!!! And now I want the doctor order to have the CPAP supplies from somewhere else, but of course no answer. Please stop these impotent processes, and focus on the patients needs. I am out of this until you are aware of your issues. Until then I need the doctor order. read more

The recent recall of 1 to 2 million Phillips cpap machines (used by sleep apnea patients) has caused major concerns among those suffering from sleep apnea. My husband reports that I'm grumpy after 2 days, impossible after a week without my machine. Reports I've read estimate it will possibly take two years until every machine can be replaced. Dealing with any sleep center right now is a nightmare. Tens or hundreds of sleep deprived, demanding customers calling all day I was blessed to get in touch with Sharon Goldman. She is truly a five star employee. I felt like a valued patient, not just another complainer. She listened to me describe my extraordinary needs and has me in the que for a new machine. I'd give them negative stars if I could! I finally had enough and when Virginia Heart started a sleep group, I transferred to them. I've been waiting for my replacement unit from the CPAP recall. Since my unit came from CSCC, the replacement was sent to them. They call and set an appointment. I get there and they refuse to give it to me because I haven't had an appointment for awhile and need one before they'll give it to me. I explain I am no longer a patient there, guy says I'll check with the manager. Comes back and tells me no appointment = no machine. I ask to speak to the manager. He tells me that he needs a prescription from Virginia Heart before he will release the machine to me. I ask why they didn't tell me that from the start since my records clearly show I moved to Virginia Heart. Of course, no answer. Did I get pissy with him? You bet. Told him they should look at their Yelp reviews! They are so bad that Federal Employee BCBS no longer considers them a preferred provider. In over 20 years in medicine I have NEVER experienced (repeatedly) a medical practice that is so incompetent and with billing that I would characterize as fraudulent. Stay as far away from them as possible, go to Virginia Heart's Sleep group. read more

So a friend referred me here. It was rocky trying to schedule appointments etc. telemedicine was always late and the staff is a bunch of kids. My major problem here is the avalanche of bills I have received. Endless robocalls and no one ever just answers the phone. They tried to force me into a sleep study in the clinic with other people and when I flat out said no way due to Covid they suddenly decided a remote study was acceptable. Please comparative shop doctors. I have spent so much money on poor negligent care. Funny but this weekend I wrote another check to this place and today on Monday another bill came. They are just hard to deal with and rude when you enter their office, they are difficult to get an appointment with. That was until I changed location and meant Amanda Thompson who was delightful and very helpful. She really made me feel comfortable and ensured I had all my questions answered. Now I am very pleased with the service I am being provided by comprehensive Sleep care.
