Dr. Chandler and her staff cannot do basic medical requests/procedures like referrals, medical reconcillation (going over your current medications), lab work (misses what lab is to test for which causes patients to have to have blood drawn AGAIN) etc., etc. I have never seen anything like it but if you do a little research on Dr. Chandler, she has a history of bad patient care. One reviewer said that "Dr. Chandler was great at first but care diminished over time." I feel the same way. She is great during your first appointment only to become terrible afterwards. I tried to complain to the office manager "Dawn B," but the gatekeepers, who answer the phones, refused to transfer me to Dawn's voicemail and I can guarantee she didn't give "Dawn" a message from me. I know this because my spouse tried to get a "primary care referral" from Chandler's office to go to a dermatologist for two straight weeks (for a condition that was getting worse and worse re: his autoimmune disease) he ended up going to Urgent Care (2x) in Santa Maria. Dignity Health's insurance REQUIRES a patient to use a primary care office to get any specialist care. I am horrified and sickened at how poorly ran this office is. How poorly Chandler listens to her patients. How poorly their medical assistants are. No patient should EVER be treated so poorly by a physician or their staff. I cannot recommend Medical Clinic at Peach to anyone until behavior changes. Sadly, I don't think it will given Chandler's history at her previous clinic and her current one.

Dr. Stanislaus did not believe Endometriosis was causing my symptoms but agreed to do a diagnostic surgery to rule it out. She was 90 minutes late to my pre-surgery appointment and rushed through the discussion in order to get to another patient's surgery. The day of my actual surgery, the authorization they wanted me to sign included multiple procedures we had not discussed, including ablating my entire uterus for a condition I don't even have. She said the was a mistake on the paperwork, but still pushed for me to have ablation on any Endo she found. I reiterated that I only wanted a diagnostic procedure and she was extremely patronizing, saying "I don't understand why you don't want to feel better." Unfortunately, I relented and consented to having the Endo ablated. She found significant endometriosis and removed it with ablation. When I went for my post- surgery appointment, she did not have any photos to show me because her staff had not requested them. When I went for my next regular appointment, the Nurse Practictioner asked me why I wasn't getting my Endometriosis taken care of - I told her Dr. Stanislaus had performed the surgery and she said, "Oh it's not on your chart." Now 3 years later I need another surgery in the same area of my body - either new growths or scar tissue, which is common with ablation. I will be having excision done by a more specialized surgeon, but neither Dr. Stanislaus or the surgery center is able to find the photographs for my original procedure. If you have serious gynecological needs, I do not recommend this practice. The doctor is almost always severely late and doesn't seem to be focused on patient care. It is a huge business, well advertised, but they seem more focused on selling cosmetic procedures than taking care of medical issues.

He is right to the point and tells you the facts, but in a friendly way. He made me a referral to a pain specialist for the SI joint pain as there is nothing he can do for that. My Xrays show arthritis there. I had a cortisone shot in the hip which was done quickly and nearly pain free. I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Sima, carpal tunnel, and both shoulders. I will keep coming back for quality care.

Causing me the most excruciating pain for 7 months before I was admitted to a hospital and had it removed. She didn't warn me AT ALL. The second she put it in it was the most pain I've ever felt in my life. I was vomiting and bed ridden for days after the insertion. I can't speak on behalf of other doctors there but with how long I waited for my apt and only saw her for 10 mins.

Block your calendar, get yourself a Starbucks and enjoy quiet time that's hard to obtain. Dr Thomas is very genuine, it's obvious is cares about his patience and does not want to leave with any unanswered questions. There are times I'm there for ten minutes and times I'm there for an hour. I always leave feeling confident and comforted by his care. This is my last pregnancy, but I know if I was having more I would choose this office and dr Thomas over and over. Dr Thomas is very knowledgeable and has a great way of explaining and slowing things down to make sure you understand and that you are confident in any choices made. Ultimately he supports your decisions and what you think is best. I personally have not had any issues with the front desk staff, I can imagine dealing with a lot of emotions and constant appt changes is not an easy task. They have always been accommodating, even when my baby brain brought me to an appt on the wrong date and time. :)
