Absolutely mortified! About the worst experience of my life…read morein a dental clinic. I had my teeth cleaned a few weeks ago. And it was the worst experience of my life. First my dental hygienist had an attitude like I came to her house uninvited. She proceeded to ask me questions about my life that I didn't want to answer. If I had kids, what's my job, what do I do. Then she told me "I've seen your husband last time" she made a bold statement. First of all that's impossible because he died 3 years ago. But to make a bold statement like this I was mortified. First of all she didn't know me, let alone know if I was married or not. And to claim she saw my husband. I told her I wasn't married. I was sitting in the chair just mortified. While she proceeded to chisel at my teeth with tools like she was sculpting marble in my mouth. It was so painful. I almost cried and I was having bad anxiety to almost. A full blown panic attack. My gun were bleeding, my jaw was hurting, and my mental too. I was just baffled and confused at the last of professionalism and arrogance of her statements and lack of privacy and compassion. This person shouldn't be practicing in this office. I will never EVER over my dead body be back and I won't recommend anyone to go there.

Westfield Gentle Dentist makes that experience much better. The hygienists, receptionists and Dr. Caron are all very friendly and informative of what they're doing and what they need you to do. Also, shout out to the all-female staff. Get it, ladies. Booking with WGD is easy and they can usually get you in pretty fast. Not something I can say for other medical professionals. In fact, I've gotten a few calls in the past from a receptionist calling to see if I want to book my next cleaning because it's been a while (as a full-time student, I often didn't book my next one because I had no clue what my schedule was going to look like six months out). They would call to say it's time and that they were holding a spot for me if I wanted it. I thought that was fantastic customer service. There was also a time something went funky with the insurance and I had to call my mom to come over (young adult still on parents' insurance- sue me), and they were very understanding in my being flustered and confused. Everything was cleared up right away and we walked out happy. I experienced no pain and my teeth felt squeaky clean. The dentist confirmed my suspicion that I needed a crown to replace an old/cracked filling. I did not feel pressure to do any other procedures which I appreciated very much! They were even able to get me in same day for the procedure. They have their own machine and were able to get me a permanent crown in within 3 hours!! I did not have to stay and was able to leave for an hour while it was being made too! I was amazed at how personally the whole staff took their work/ my care! I'm so excited to have found a new dental office close to home!
