They were able to start the project fairly quickly and picked up the furniture at my home on the agreed upon time and dropped it off as promised. I was very impressed at the quality of the refinish job on my furniture. They have been given new life and the workmanship was fantastic. He spent lots of time with us at our home going through samples and combinations of color arrangements for our "new" cabinets. Of course, we were initially hesitant about painting old cabinets to make them look like the highest quality of new and professionally painted cabinets. "My gosh, is this going to appear professional?" Wow! The finished product bowled my wife and me over!! Peter took our 15-year-old and outdated wood cabinets and turned them into meticulously perfect "new" cabinets. When you go through the photos, there will be 5 initial photos of the "old" and following that, there will be 5 or 6 photos of the "new". You can easily spot these as you review the photos. Peter was VERY easy to work with and had tremendous suggestions. He advised us to keep our same hardware since it would look great on the "new" cabinets. We took his advice and you can see that it looks great. My wife and I are so VERY pleased with Peter and his A1 Cabinet Painting firm. I made the mistake of…read moreletting this gentleman and his helper do an epoxy floor job for me on one of my shop buildings on my property. Not only was he not prompt and professional I advised him against driving his vehicle off of my driveway and into my yard and what did he do? Drove his vehicle off of my driveway and into my yard and got himself stuck with a 2WD. After repeatedly spinning out tires with his slipping transmission, the aftermath would be a portion of my turf destroyed with tire streaks across my yard and my garden plants ran over. Had to call a wrecker to pull him out and threw a temper tantrum in the middle of my yard. In addition to this fiasco, he left my floor full of solvent pops, fish eyes and damaged spots. I was given an 1 year warranty on his work and immediately notified him of the adverse reactions the day after when the floor was dried. He made every excuse in the book to prolong addressing the underlying epoxy issue at hand that was created by his own negligence. From a broken engine, to making time in his schedule, blah blah blah etc. Avoid Kevin Rollins at all costs! Even if he offers free services, I'm sure this guy will still find a way to screw it up! If you are looking for a subpar contractor, you need not look any further.

He literally does it all (replacing toilets, replacing floors, treating the concrete, finding problem areas (mold) and replacing it, identify issues (wrong breakers placed in the house), painting rooms, replacing doors.. you name it and he can do it. What I appreciated the most about him is that he has strong communication, great work ethic and will get the job done no matter how long it takes. We had an issue or two with our ceiling fan after the project was done and he immediately came out to take a look - both at the fan and at the how it was wired (turns out it was the fan). He's definitely reliable and would take care of the job until the client is satisfied. His pricing is also very reasonable. I've only known him for three weeks and has already given him three projects. I'd definitely rely on Illia again in the future.
