I had my computer repaired there, and then when said computer had seen its better days and I needed to replace it, I was able to purchase a new one from them. They were extremely helpful when setting me up with a computer that met my needs and was appropriate for my level of expertise with technology. I couldn't get my laptop to power on. I tried several different things. I am not the most knowledgeable, but I know a little to try to troubleshoot. It was out of warranty and since it was a cheap Lenovo laptop, the repair would not be worth the money for me. My main concern was getting my files off it. The Computer Clinic was quickly able to put all my data on an external drive and give me a more than fair trade. He is friendly, knowledgeable and to the point. This is a place that does what's best for customers and advises on multiple solutions. If I ever need help again, this is where I'm going. read more

I would rate this store 5 stars a million times over! I went in because my laptop screen had cracked. I was able to get it in to be worked on right away, and I communicated with the owner for upwards of 40 minutes on what was the best step forward. They suggested buying a new machine to save money, and then continued to communicate with me via email about several different machines. They offered advice and feedback I otherwise would not have gotten, and went above and beyond what would ever be expected of them. I will never go to another repair shop in Bloomington. Buyer beware all that is sold as new is not. In june I bought a new laptop from The Computer Clinic. It very quickly started to show problems. They serviced and replaced hard drive to solid state, still problems. Tech and I had words and I was rold not to come back. To find a solution I call Dell, I was told computer I had was a used almost two years old. It was not even a refurb. After servicing my past Alienware 17s for a few years , they both gave up mike wasted time trying . I got my very first NEW COMPUTER ! After at least 25 years starting w/ windows 95 all used stuff . This new Alienware M15 R7 1tb 2tb laptop is pretty cool ! Mike had a great price , and if I have any problems , I know where to go for service . Issac was fast and professional in my PC laptop repair. It was an easy fix for him but I went in thinking it was going to much worse. He fixed a memory issue that was keeping the screen from starting up. I was from outside the area and had no idea of who to see and trust.
