Buyer Beware with this one. Aaron stole our laptop. My son's laptop crashed and was left with Aaron at Computer Gearheads for repair. He communicated a few times then went dark. At least 9 months of this went by when I stepped in. All we cared about at that point was getting the hard drive returned to us. Aaron told me the manufacturer had accepted the laptop for warranty repairs. He agreed to contact them and request the hard drive. Aaron told me the hard drive/laptop was in shipping waiting to be shipped. He led me on with the same update for four months at which time he stopped communicating. I don't believe the manufacturer was ever involved. I think Aaron just stole our laptop. For what purpose, I don't know. I can only guess that he is either selling parts or information. read more

I called Aaron using my phone to access local IT support. He willingly gave me information on how he worked which didn't really include any asked for solutions other than he could make a house call and take a look. While the charge/hr was steep I agreed and made an appointment of 3 days later. He never showed up, never called with an explanation just dropped the ball. You decide.... read more

Buyer Beware. I hired Aaron at Computer Gearheads to get a new Wi-Fi upgrade system set up in a small business I am interning for. I honestly feel like he took advantage of a student intern. First off, we went WAY over budget, but we were willing to go over budget with our estimate to get the job done for labor day weekend. First red flag: over budget. The job was set out for labor day weekend giving Aaron about 3 weeks in advance to prepare instead of the two weeks he originally quoted us. Three days after the job was suppose to start, Aaron finally calls us saying that all the parts weren't ready due to back order, however, never cared to call sooner to let us know about this problem. I understand, shipping and warehouse problems aren't foreseeable, or anything he himself can control, however, to let us know the project was delayed, was entirely his responsibility, because we DID, after all, pay for shipping. Second red flag. He insisted that we continue with the job and that we were his first priority and he'd get us through the weekend with a temporary unit and he'd do this for free. The appointment was set right after 9:30 a.m. He didn't show up until 4:30 p.m. As you can imagine, I wasn't happy and had to fire him. After I told him I no longer want to get the job done and I'll be looking for someone else to do the job, he justified by saying he blew off the company earlier in Salida for us, to be able to help us and they didn't fire him, and I shouldn't either. He just blows costumers off left and right and hopes to get away with it with his pitty stories. Oh, he's got so many. After firing Aaron, I THEN found out I had somehow, sometime, "signed" a contact, a contract they refused to show me, saying I owe 15% restocking fee, and that I don't actually "own" any of my equipment, and I couldn't get my deposit back in full. I wanted to keep the parts that I had purchased, to avoid the restocking fee, and I'd hire someone else to do the work with the equipment I had already purchased and he said that his company doesn't allow that... so no product and no refund. Dead end. He ignored my calls so I had to start calling from other people's phones, took them over 3 weeks to e-mail me a contract, and refund estimate. Never got one. He even blamed an .edu (school) email for "blocking" his email to me. I had to go through court system to get refund back. Going through the court system was a dishonest disaster too, however due to confidentiality I cannot write about what happened, however, it didn't end well. After settling in court, Aaron nor Computer Gearheads didn't follow the judgment and still haven't paid us back... he doesn't even follow court orders! Bottom line: avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid. read more
