At least 9 months of this went by when I stepped in. All we cared about at that point was getting the hard drive returned to us. Aaron told me the manufacturer had accepted the laptop for warranty repairs. He agreed to contact them and request the hard drive. Aaron told me the hard drive/laptop was in shipping waiting to be shipped. He led me on with the same update for four months at which time he stopped communicating. I don't believe the manufacturer was ever involved. I think Aaron just stole our laptop. For what purpose, I don't know. I can only guess that he is either selling parts or information.
