I have used Computer Repair and Services in Stillwater with great satisfaction until now. I brought a desktop in for an upgrade and was unable to pick it up for a lengthy amount of time due to a family death that required alot of work and time away from home. I did notify the company of this, and received multiple calls regarding picking it up. I did call to let them know the situation several times, and was never told or asked if I could pay it over the phone. I went to pick it up last week and paid the amount I was told to pay the amount quoted to me which ~$300.00, and when I checked my bank statement they had added and additional $200 dollars on to my account as late fees. I was never told about any late fees being assessed when I did not come and pick it up, there was no disclosure of a time frame to pick an item up, and I did not know about the late fee until after it came out of my account. I learned that the ownership had transferred over and the person I used to work with was no longer there. When I called to dispute it the owner was not customer focused and quite fankly, an asshole. I would also give 10-15 stars for a rating for Computer Repair & Services! If possible! I have used them in the past and did today for an issue with my new IPhone and newer computer re email. NO ONE else could figure out the solution and when I called to briefly describe my issue Josh said he believed they could solve my problem. I replied "what did you just say?" He repeated it and I said "did you say SOLVE???!" Yes he said. I was thrilled but apprehensive...yet hopefull! Understand I had been to AT&T, an appt with Geek Squad, an hour and a half texting with Apple Store Roseville, numerous hours online with MSN AND at least two hours at Costco where I purchased my phone (and nothing against them, they were great, it was an issue with MSN) So CR&S to the rescue once again...I should have gone straight to them in the first place but of course the other avenues were free so....I waisted a lot of time when really it would have been so worth it as their fees at CR&S are VERY REASONABLE!! 5 STARS? ARE YOU KIDDING? I'm interested in conveying the need to give 15 STARS in/over 10 STARS!!! Joe, Josh, Jeremy, are all HIGHLY Adept in CUSTOMER SERVICE, not to mention the Spontaneous, Thorough Knowledge, with regard to the conversational aspects to your needs, interests, and your computer's dilemmas, no matter what or how severe the issues are!! My contact to them came from an interest to accommodate a quick turn-around-time. I described the perception that I had concerning my problems, and they said it could be 2 to 3 days, which was music to my ears. They were the 2nd of two contacts I had made with the same inquiry. My laptop was infected and malfunctioning with regularity, to the point it would 'freeze', 'crash', or just not allow sign on, and activation. They(Josh) received my computer and talked to me about its apparent visible problems when assessed at the drop off time, 2 to 3 days for the remedy to be completed. The 'operation' involved would need to have the laptop completely refreshed to 'factory specs', and reload all files and data, which would restore the glitch free operation of a new computer! They installed NEW anti-virus, and malware programs which they absolutely trusted, and advised to be installed, replacing the inferior programs that allowed the infection in the first place. At the 2 1/2 day mark, it was ready, and I picked it up, took it home, and was dazzled by the freshness of the operational abilities. THEN IT CRASHED/LOCKED UP! I called them and they said bring it right back and they'll repeat the whole process again on their 7 day warranty period. AGAIN, amazed, and respectful of and appreciative for their personable, attitude and willingness to solve that pesky problem. This would take the same time period, and they guaranteed the solution, which I had NO doubts. Picked it up again after a couple of days, and it was again just as dazzling as the first go-round, and enjoyed the 'operation with ease' they re-provided to me and my Computer. I had an additional issue that I communicated to them after they went through it the second time, I took it back last Wednesday the 23rd of Sept, with that problem to be rectified. I got it back from them on Saturday the 26th, and took it home, and VOILA.....I'm a HAPPY CAMPER, and eager to pat them on the back, and convey my appreciation to them for their "DUE DILIGENCE" and that "CUSTOMER SERVICE" that stands HEADS & SHOULDERS above any other I've had to deal with from any field or industry or Company!!!! Let COMPUTER REPAIR & SERVICES be YOUR destination target to be the END ALL to your computer's misgivings and proclivities, that frustrate and confound many of us!! WITH ALL THAT THEY PROVIDE, The treatment of you, as though you ARE THE ONLY CUSTOMER THEY HAVE, and the services, and the knowledge, and the 'STICK-TO-ITIVE-NESS they demonstrate is indespensable, and they DO NOT CHARGE ENOUGH in MY Honest Appreciative Opinion!!
