There was a coin slot and credit card reader on the control panel, neither of which worked. Note that there is a $5 minimum posted on the card reader. The coin window was blank. I went around to the entry again and found a bay which was wet so I assumed it was operational. Again there was a label on the card reader with the $5 minimum. The coin display was blank. (I later learned that there should have been a scrolling $5 minimum. Had I known, I would have left because I did not want to spend that much to wash the car myself). I entered $2 worth of quarters and nothing happened. I went into the office and told the man what had happened. He said there is a $5 minimum on both coins and cards and took me to another bay which did have the scrolling display. I told him that the bay I was in had a blank display when I started to which he replied "Why do they always lie?" I asked for my $2 back and he told me to "Fu*k off" and walked away. I would never support a business that treats a paying customer this way, so I left and will never go back for any of their services.

I reached out to two other shops in town to try and get the CPU changed before it became a catastrophic problem. I got no response from one, and a "nah, good luck though" from another. Months later, it ceased being a "programs will crash without software intervention" issue and became a " " issue. I'd gotten phone battery replacements from them in the past, but this was something far more extreme. Still, they said they could help, and lo and behold, they did. When I learned that Intel had extended the warranty on the i9 13th generation chips to five years (because they'd effectively told motherboard manufacturers to microwave them), they were willing to let me work with the PC manufacturer to get a replacement. That took entirely too long, (thank you FedEx and UPS), but once I had the chip in hand, they had the replacement CPU installed and BIOS set up the same day I brought it in. In the end, they only wanted to charge me for the initial diagnostic since I provided the replacement part (eventually). I will absolutely be coming back.
