He showed me a computer that was in the price range that I was going to pay except it didn't have a battery that worked. Did not tell me that it was a $40 battery, he did tell me that it was slow on start up but that was only half the story. He didn't tell me that it was the slowest downloading page changing computer that I've ever had the misfortune of coming across computer screen went black took minute upon minute even with 5 Wi-fi connection. Called him numerous times about my dissatisfaction with my purchase. He had previously told to come into the store any time. I was there on business in Florida. Try to get to the store he was closed. He never returned by calls, never responded to my text, Never responded to my voice messages. When I got back to California, I box the computer up and send it back to him and ask the credit card company to issue me a credit. This guy knows How to mix truth with lies to get his way with the credit card companies. Credit card company asked me for my original invoice, That invoice is in Florida which I could not axis because I'm in California. I Abraham for a copy of that invoice via email and he has refused to give it to me. He knew that the credit card company would require that invoice. Which I could not provide, and he has refused to give it to me. I will say that he's a good talker, Very smooth. Lots of half truths. Now he has the computer, and my money. And I'm sure this has happened before.

Kevin came within an hour after speaking with him, to pick up the laptop and had it going on repairs within three hours. Was finished at the end of the day and dropped back to me early at 9 am. Very pleased with how I was treated and I was so happy to have the laptop back and not needing to buy a brand new ones was such a relief!!

I bought 2 systems here, had some…read morerepairs done (before I knew how to assemble my own PC's), and a bunch of components - monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc. Most of his merchandise are inexpensive, low-quality imports from Asia (China, Thailand, etc.) so high-end and big name brands are not their forte. Also, while things "look" like cheap imports, I don't think overall they're cheaper than Fry's, Central and Pixel USA, Benitek is a 1-man business so can't beat anybody on pricing I think. It's just very convenient if you live in that North SJ area, as opposed to running the Fry's gauntlet. Ben is a nice guy, his English is heavily accented, so intriguing thought-provoking conversation can be put on the backburner, but he knows computers very well and he won't try ripping you off, but go in with some idea about prices of whatever you happen to be looking for first 'lest you pay a little too much.
