I bought a laptop from this place on ebay (computer-63) that had a bios password lock. They did not mention this in the listing and even described it as fully functional. I cannot install my OS because the HDD controller is probably set to RAID mode. Looking back later I noticed that this listing did not have any bios pictures like their other listings...so incriminating. It was also packed very poorly with no packaging on two sides of the laptop. There was an imprint of the laptop in the cardboard box. no padding between laptop and charger. They ignored my messages for 2.5 business days until I mentioned contacting ebay. It is still unresolved over a week after arrival. The listing was as follows: "Laptop tested to be in excellent working condition. Has scruffs and scratches see photos for details. Does not include charger, battery, ssd/storage, or os. I was sold a computer that did not work! I had it looked at over the weekend only to be told that there was a hardware problem and that I would need to buy a new monitor. I called the ACWORTH LOCATION to see what could be done about the $61.47 spent, no refund but I can come in and spend $45 for a diagnostic check. Oh! At first, this company was great, now that its been paid and supposedly covered for the year, I have never gotten anything but rotten tomotaoes when I call to get help. Kat is the rudest person and seemingly does NOT care about customers. I have never been given anything but the runaround from her, and today was no exception! I called to get the name of the software company they use. She informed me that mine is called "The Gold Plan"... This does not help me AT ALL! tHERE IS NO WEBSITE CALLED "The Gold Plan." Terrible customer service and no value for customer's time. I needed to get some cables for my new docking station and monitors so i went to this business which i had used before to service my laptop and had good experiences. The man i spoke to (the technician) rumbled through bins of cables and found two which he said would work for my set up. He charged me $34 for 2 used cables that were lying around their shop. I paid because I didn't feel it was worth my time running around town to save a few bucks. I brought the cables home and they did not work for my system. So today I went back to return the two cables and to get the correct ones. Well, 20 minutes later he and 2 other people were searching though their bins and not finding the right cables. I finally said that I didn't want to spend my entire day there as I had other things to do including finding the right cables. I told them 3 times that since they didn't have what I needed that I wanted to get a refund and leave. 45 minutes later they were still giving me the run around and looking for something they didn't have. I left and went to Best Buy across the street and within 10 minutes I had the right cables and left and went on with the rest of my day. I went to them in the first place because i believe in spending money with a local small business to support them. Never again will I used this business again. By the way, I was so upset that I left without getting my $36.38 back. read more

This Computer Plus is terrible. I should have read the yelp reviews first that was my first mistake. My computer busted and wouldn't get passed the loading screen. I took it in there to the Kennesaw location and they took it with out telling me how much it was going to be. purposely took exactly 48 hours to get back to me. Then told me it would be ready in two days just to load windows 10 on there? That doesn't even make any sense, The computer already had windows10 on there. It caused me 100$ just for that. then it doesn't even work. Definitely never using them again. I am hopeful that I will get my full refund read more

Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. First off they posted a mac mini on Facebook market place for 499. They also offer trade-ins. So I bring in a Dell 7567 i5 7th gen 16gb mem, 1tb ssd, and 256gb m.2 drive to trade. Basically waited around for most of the day to be told that they didn't have this on location, so I would have to wait and they would eval the laptop I have. I walk out and getting into the car when I receive a phone call from them not but 4-5 minutes later stating that they would price my laptop at 350.00 (which is absurd as a new one based off my specs would well go over 900.00) but that with the specs I wanted from the mac mini would have a new price of 750.00 BASED OFF THE PREVIOUS SPECS LISTED IN THE AD FOR 499! Got a news flash for you guys, that is called a bait and switch which is illegal in Georgia under (§§10-1-420, 421). I had an awesome experience with Terence at Computers Plus. Not only was he kind and courteous, but he also knowledgeable and a tech genius! I brought my laptop in for a grey screen and ultimately learned of a recall on my particular MacBook Pro with the GPU. The fact that Terence knew of this up to date info was quite impressive and subsequently I felt that I was definitely in the right place. He made the necessary repairs and I walked out with a serious tune-up/upgrade on my 2011 machine, complete with a new 1 TB SSD and updated software, which totally has me ready for any and all my computer needs! Just want to warn everyone about Computers Plus+ of Kennesaw... I brought in a panel to be cut out and it looked like someone cut it out with a hammer. The glass had adhesive all over the back that was never removed. I was told I could bring it back in, but, it seems no one has time to speak with me... Is this how they do business?? I have already fixed the bad edges of the panel. Was just hoping they wanted do to the right thing and replace the bad plexiglass that was put in my panel. I just wanted them to make it right. Do not let these people work on your computer. They could not fix my device after causing a problem during a repair. I was told that the device could not be repaired. I took my device to Experimac and it was repaired properly for the same price I paid Computers Plus in two hours. They also gave me back the old part and showed me how it was not installed properly. This company is horrible. It took them 72 hours to misdiagnose my computer and then expected me to pay 45 dollars after i waited 2 weeks for the wrong part. The customer service got snappy when I tried to explain the unfairness and unjustly defended the companys decision. I would not recommend this establishment for phone repair. I took an iPhone 5s there for screen replacement. Within a week or so it wasn't working properly. I took it in within the 30 day warranty period and was told that I must have caused the problem due to some physical damage I caused to the phone. Three of the four interactions with staff there weren't up to the standards of professionalism I'd expect. I had to explain the problem three different times on three different days. read more

I highly recommend Terrance and his staff for their outstanding customer service and professional skills. 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. I took my computer in to get the GPU replaced which they did and which temporarily fixed my computer. They sold me a defective GPU that broke just weeks later. I contacted them and took my computer back into the store. They looked at everything except the GPU and couldn't determine what the issue was. They returned my computer but did not return my money even though it was within their 30 day warranty on parts. I have since taken my computer to another shop to get my GPU replaced, a new shop with a much better warranty policy and much better customer service. I have been calling Computer Plus now for months to get a hold of the manager to ask about a refund. I have spoke to countless employees saying they "will take a message" and have the manager call me. It's been 2 months that I have been calling several times a week, still have not reached the manager and still have not been contacted by him. At this point they are ignoring me because they don't want to refund me. I am taking the issue up with Consumer Affairs. Also, they charged me double for a (broken) GPU than what another computer company is charging me. Going to Computers Plus Kennesaw has been the biggest mistake and cost me a lot of money. PLEASE AVOID UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RIPPED OFF AND HANDLED WITH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more
