This was a good experience because they took the job immediately and with concern for my situation. My RV was fixed promptly! Thank you

I called Thunder RV and spoke with Wayne. Not only did he schedule us in a reasonable amount of time, he was also 1/3 the cost. We arrived on the day of our scheduled service and were promptly taken care of, in and out by the early afternoon. He even looked over some other concerns I had. I am incredibly impressed with Thunder RV and in particular Wayne, who was so friendly, helpful, and professional. We will be back again when or if we need repair.

Yah, you might have to wait. Yah he's in demand. There's a reason for all that. There isn't much he doesn't know about RV dilemmas. He won't give yas the bunk. When he says something is right .. it's right. If he says something needs to be fixed, fix it. He won't chilsel yas, he won't do work that isn't necessary. He's on the square! There's no FlimFlam in this joint. You can take it on the heel and toe, go find some tool who will claim to be able to resolve yer problem. Then do that again, and again, and again or maybe melt your wiring like Curt's RV does. I'm tell'in ya, this is the dude who can fix it, fix it right, fix it the first time. And if he see's anything along the way that needs you to put an eyeball on it, he'll tell yas. Tell em The Hammer sent ya! On second thought, maybe keep that under yer fedora. Ha!

Our trailer was never detailed, all holding tanks were full! Isn't this illegal....? Vent cover on floor screw striped out. Urine smell coming from vent in living area and no heat coming from vent.. Now said trailer in the shop! Now..I can bet no maintenance was ever done on this trailer, just a quick wipe down of the inside and call it good.. The salesman we had to deal with was something else and not someone I would have working for my establishment. I'm sad that I have to write a not so good review. But I feel things should've been taken care of and the trailer should've been clean and ready for the new owners! There should've been some pride in the shop and follow up from management. Took trailer to local shop due to urine smell and there were Mouse droppings in the Ducting. Called click it they offered to take care of the chewed ducting by dropping the under belly. Went to pick up the trailer after they said it was ready and this is what we seen. Then we went camping and my husband noticed that the under belly was hanging. And this is what we are left to deal with. The previous shop we took it to never cut the under belly! This is laziness and a lack of respect of personal property at it finest. Now I know why there was no charge! And they didn't even replace the ducting to the bedroom and the black water tank was full! Thanks for the GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Drove over to schedule in person, no one was in the service department customer service desk. Waited in the service department lobby. No one around for at least 10 minutes. Finally someone from the parts department asked me if I had been helped. Finally got someone to help me. Got the appointment scheduled. Informed them that service department calls keep going to Mike's VM. Dropped off the trailer for dewinterizing which also included replacing the tongue jack. Had to call them after 6 days to find out if the work was done or not. Again, all calls went to "Mike's voicemail". Confirmed that the number was the same as listed on their website. Drove to see service department. Again, no one in the service department lobby to help me. Had to walk around the building until I found another employee and asked them to send someone to the service department. Work was completed but no one called me. Again, informed them that calls keep going to "Mike's voicemail." Paid about $450. Went camping and find out that they never closed up the water heater tank so potable water kept pouring out the back of the trailer. Had to go buy a 1-1/16 inch socket to fit the anode rod so it could be screwed back into place. That is dewinterization 101. Unbelievable! Do NOT recommend this business. Customer service is not a high priority to them.

My husband and I are relatively new to the area and have visited and called Russ Dean Family RV…read moreseveral times now. We purchased our fifth wheel in TX and have traveled extensively with it and have visited multiple RV service centers during our travels. Russ Dean is by far the best in service, knowledge and friendliness. The quality of service has been consistent with each visit and/or call. We came in for a minor recall repair the first time and Blake in service actually came out and showed us what was repaired. Keep in mind, this was a recall repair, so no money was exchanged. He truly cared about the work that was done and us as customers. He even very patiently answered other questions we had. Since then, both my husband and I have called the parts department, and they too have completely exceeded our expectations. The parts guy (I wish I could remember his name) was extremely patient when I was asking about a part I needed and he went so far as to send me a picture of it! My husband had a tire blow out, which caused extensive damage. He couldn't bring it in for service, but the parts guy spent quite a bit of time with him over the phone, helping him order the right parts. The most recent unbelievably crazy high level of customer service we experienced was when we needed our fifth wheel winterized. My husband is deployed and wasn't able to bring it in for winterizing. He emailed the service dept and asked if they offered a mobile service or if they had someone they could recommend. Mike, the Customer Care Manager, said due to our special circumstance and in support of the military, they would come and take our giant 42' fifth wheel to their shop, winterize it, and return it! Who does that?! It's not like we live just down the road either. He explained that he's able to offer this service because it's not as busy in the winter months and they want to do whatever they can to support our military. Even the man who came out to take our fifth wheel, Joe, was extremely courteous and genuinely nice. Oh, and his driving skills in maneuvering our fifth wheel were beyond belief! It would make my husband green with envy. I have never experienced this level of service and generosity! I saw the few negative reviews on here, but I hope you'll notice that someone from Russ Dean responded to each one of them. There will always be some customers that are unhappy with something from every business, but not all businesses take the time to address it. As long as my husband and I continue to live in the area, Russ Dean Family RV will be the only place we will use for service, and when we're ready to trade in our fifth wheel, they will definitely get our business. We've never had such great personal service that went way above our expectations, from any dealership.

We checked everything we could think of..batteries, connections, fuses, still nothing. Luckily we had a generator to get through the night. We got up in the morning and headed to Thompson's based on a locals recommendation. After explaining the situation, one of the team members.(i am kicking myself for not remembering his name Hal.maybe? ), came out and took a look..he was a bit stumped as well. And admitted he was not too familiar with our brand of trailer.More discussion he had us move our trailer to a spot easier to inspect it. After chatting some more and explaining all we had tried, he popped the fuse panel and pulled the 30a fuse and it was blown. ( It of course was the one fuse we didn't have a spare) He replaced the fuse and we were back in business!! He refused any kind of payment, he was happy to help the newbies, and was glad he saved our trip!! 1000% recommended Thompson RV!!

They didn't have any service appointments that morning, but two guys (both named "Casey") came out and helped me. They first checked the fuse and then decided it was probably the control board (which I had read already was the likely culprit). They took the fan apart to get the part number for the control board. They didn't have the exact same control board, but did have a compatible one. They installed it, verified the fan worked and put it back together. It was critical that I have that fan since I was heading to Moab and had my dogs with me. I don't have A/C so needed some way to keep the RV as cool as possible (and no, I don't leave my dogs in there when it gets too hot, but it helps keep it as cool as possible especially at night). My sincere thanks to them both. You need to reward and retain employees like these guys.
