Service requests were ignored. Calls for help were difficult with ongoing language issues with those who finally do answer the phones at Comwave. The company double billed in error but never did refund their mistake. When the account was finally closed, Comwave/Rogers took an additional $300+ in cancellation fees according to a contract they claimed existed -- it did not. They made us pay for shipping their equipment back and then charged an additional two $25 restocking fees. This company did all this to a 99 year old senior on a fixed income. They are the epitome of the internet thug. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with them.

The service there is beyond EXCEPTIONAL. My family and I went to the store the day after boxing day in hopes to purchase some accessories for our phones (ex. external battery packs, charging cables, car chargers). We had some coupons that we wanted to use up so we thought this would be the best time since it is after Christmas. As soon as we walked in, the staff there was really eager to help us out. We told Sal D. (awesome staff there!!) quickly helped us out and we were upfront about the coupons that we wanted to use up. He was good with that as I know that many phone service providers never wanted to help us out when we tell them about coupons (not sure why, but perhaps the extra work they have to do? or perhaps they don't know how to input promotional codes? This is a LEARNING EXPERIENCE right there). When we had gotten our items and were ready to pay, he told us about the deals and sales, and what could make our purchases more worthwhile (eg., purchasing a phone cover on top of our order to get 20% discount overall, etc). He never pressured us to buy anything but just told us what was offered. I like his attitude. Even though we had to pay more than what was given with the coupons, I was happy about it because the service was excellent! Keep it up Sal D. at Telus Yorkdale. I don't really…read morenotice that the speed is bad but sometimes when I do a speed test, we are getting less than we are paying for. Recently, we noticed an increase of our monthly bill of $2.50. After looking closely at it, there was some regulatory fee tacked on. My husband researched online and read that it is voluntary. He decided to call to ask for it to be removed. He got through to customer service right away (this would take hours with Rogers!) and they were very helpful & removed the charge and advised that we would be credited back the $2.50 paid on the next invoice. Overall, we are pretty happy with Carrytel.
