I'm very surprised by the low star score because I've been here for two different work-related injuries over the course of a few years and both experiences have been great. The staff for both the medical and physical therapy side are very friendly and they try to get you in and out efficiently. But the care has been great, too - all the doctors and physical therapists ask questions to see how you're really doing and provide what's needed. Not that I want to get hurt anymore, but I have no qualms coming here based on my experiences. read more

Everybody here is welcoming, the entire staff is friendly. You do have to Wait at times especially if you have an appointment just be prepared. The front desk receptionists are friendly. Physical Therapy, Adan is very patient and friendly especially the other woman that Is with him. I don't know her name but she is also very friendly. i went in to be seen to do a medical exam to update my medical certificate for my cdl license. but, the reception women were rude as hayle, disrespectful over the phone, and they even had the audacity to have a sign post saying "no aggressiveness, and some other bs on a wall sign" at the gardena and 90th location. i saw dr. b.and who asked "why i had only a one year certificate?" i told him because the previous doctor i saw didn't like the way i squared. he, asked if i'd had a sleep study before. i said yes. he, said "ok. just bring me a copy of the study to prove you don't have sleep apnea and i'll provide u with the two year certificate. he, already knew all of my medical intake info, height, weight, blood pressure blah blah blah. but, never mentioned anything about my weight as a requirement for him to provide me with my two year certificate. the receptionists, or people answering the phones, were disrespectful, & rude over the phone! but, hen want to duck and hide when you come in and ask "who is so and so?" now, everybody wants to pretend to be helpful! meanwhile, all that bullshit is fake! i was told by the receptionist that i had it would be best for me if i went to go and get the sleep study in hand. because it would take two weeks for them to get it she claimed. (but, it came to them the next day!) i worked in the medical field and i already knew that this wasn't true what she was telling me. but, i said nothing and pretended not to hear her. once it came..i had called in and then she claimed all of a sudden that now i had to do an updated sleep study! but, i assured her that wasn't true because that wasn't what the doctor had told me! she, came back saying another doctor who was there told her they needed a new study in order for me to get my medical certificate for the two years. i didn't agree. i told her that's not what dr. b. told me and that he said i could get my certificate, once i had proof of my of the study. well, she already had it...and once i said i would wait for the doctor i saw, she didn't hesitate to go and tell him something in the office to cause him to change his decision to provide me with what i needed and what he said he would provide to me. i had met the requirements for what he told me, yet he gave me a year certificate, told me to lose some weight, claimed he wasn't giving it to me because i had gained a few more pounds. although, that was never mentioned when he told me what i was required to give him before he would give me two years on my certificate. concentra has a bunch of unprofessional bitches working there! and, their behavior should never be tolerated!! none, of the games they play are warranted in such an environment!! and, there were at least two or more people who were claiming to me in the waiting area about the exact same thing! i had told the "so-called manager" about their behavior. but, she is as bad, if not worse than the rest of the staff!!! the problem is not that i got a year certificate...the problem is their unprofessionalismn with patients and their inability to take responsibility for their bullshit on the spot! and, it's even worse when the doctors join in to assist them in their nonesense! i told her that they should be very careful about dealing with people in the way that they do. because some people are absolutely crazy and would not have a problem walking up in there on them and going, not postal, but concentra on them! i didn't ask for their behavior! nor, did i do anything to warrant it and it should never been tolerated!! the doctor should be fired! and many of the receptionists who speak disrespectfully to patients without a cause! i advise anyone to never go to this particular location!! because these bitches are the worst!!! fyi, i felt it was necessary to report them and the doctor for their unprofessional behavior towards me by reaching out to their corporate offices! i encourage anyone who reads this to post reviews about them when they don't act in a professional manner! and, stop allowing them just to be able to get away with how they're treating patients while they're being "paid" to treat them!! i hope corporate goes further than just a slap on the wrist for them! because they absolutely deserve to be "checked" about their nasty behavior towards patients there! i hope they send me another review text.... because their score is a 1 i promise you that!!! disrespectful bunch of evil witches and warlocks!!!! it's, bad when your doctors are being "coached" into doing unprofessional bs with them!!! bitches! I have been attending therapy at this location for my elbow tendinitis, and everyone has been very kind and friendly. The staff have also been very helpful and informative with the exercises being used to treat my condition. I really appreciate their patience and advice. Went here for the first time for a drug test 7:30 AM. Claudia at the front desk was very clear, concise, and accommodating. I followed her instructions for filling out information on the phone and got in after about 5 minutes. Ana helped me after that and was quick and clear. PSA: this is not a regular urgent care. It's mostly urgent care for workers comp/occupational health, so they have limited spots for regular urgent care. That being said, I came right when they opened and they were able to squeeze me in. I thought Claudia was very nice and patient, esp. considering she was working the desk on her own. The nurse who saw me was very curt, not too friendly, but the provider was very nice. Facility is huge, easy to get lost in. It has its own personal parking lot with plenty of space so you don't feel stressed looking for parking. Overall, I still recommend this spot because it's one of few places open at 7am. read more

Came in with shoulder pain from a work injury. The doctor that treated me was rushing, didn't seem to believe that I got my injury from work, and only spent 2-3 minutes with me. I'm worried that I injured/tore my rotator cuff but the doctor didn't even give 2 cents of care to check with an X-Ray. He just gave me ibuprofen and told me I can go back to my physical job that requires repetitive lifting and pushing full-time. I'm still in pain. And don't know what to do because I went here through worker's comp insurance. Very pissed and disappointed. The staff at the physical therapy department is fantastic though! Very caring and compassionate individuals. Just wish there was a separate Yelp for the PT department so I can write them a good review that they deserve. read more

Normally I enjoy to write a good review but this time I can't help to give out a bad one. Avoid this place if you don't have time to keep waiting, waiting and waiting. I got there right after they've opened in the morning and there were 3 people ahead of me. It's so ridiculously slow and inefficient. It took them more than 1.5 hrs just for the front desk to get my paperwork ready and it only took the Doctor less than 3 minutes to complete what needed to be done. Kaiser is no match for this place. The clinicians here have given my body more attention and follow-up care than I've ever received with my own health insurance primary care. I came here with a lower back injury. First, a doctor assessed my pain, even asked about previous injuries because he understands there's more to the story than just THIS instance. Then he ordered X-rays (I got a pregnancy test out of this, too), a follow up appointment, AND 6 sessions of physical therapy! I've been injured many times and never got to have PT in my life, so this felt amazing. The PT (his name is Quan) examined my anatomy and posture, etc, and enlightened me about his theory on why I have lower back problems. It was very interesting. He told me things about my spine and hips that I never could have known, things unique to my body that are causing my issues. And he told me how to resolve it. They also provided an Uber back to my work place when I was done. Everyone I dealt with from front desk, to assistants, to nurses, doctor, and PT were kind and helpful. I have been to other Concentras and wasn't impressed but this one is outstanding. And yes, I used self-timer on my camera to take that picture of me in X-ray shorts. read more

Receptionist at front desk on the Dr. side of the building is very rude, she mocks patients out loud to the nurses passing by and laughs at the patients right in front of them, as if we can't hear, she's not behind glass or a closed door aside that this place always takes it's sweet time. Pt side knows what they're doing. Dr's I wouldn't trust, they sent me back to work,knowing I'm a package handler in a warehouse, said the same day I'm good to go back to working when I had a deep cut from a box blade that literally required stitches like yeah ok. Another time I had a head contusion (got hit so hard in the head my brain was bruised) felt dizzy and nauseas for days, chewing and the movement of my jaw alone gave me the biggest migraines and from that I also got a "you're good to go back to work right now" ‍ read more

Only giving 1 star because of Claudia as the receptionist. She's very courteous and has actual human sympathy otherwise it would have been negative 0. After waiting for more than 3 hours to be seen by a supposed medical professional, I was approached by a lady PA-C Ashima something. I strongly believe her values and purpose of taking up the helm of a physician assistant is severely misaligned. She lacks empathy and bed side manner despite this being a clinic/urgent care, you still have to look at patients/clients/customers coming here as patients with concerns. Just because this is a business doesn't mean you'll treat other humans without dignity and respect. This PA-C definitely lacks those dignity/respect and probably should reconsider being a PA. If you took a job that one of their main purpose is to help people, HELP people not maltreat them and just brush them off with your condescending, disrespectful and non caring tone. This place is still around because of the contract it has with other workplace. But outside of that there's really little care what this place gives to the patients/clients/customers that come here. read more

Alright let me start off by saying I been coming to this clinic for approx 1 year now, since my old location in irwindale got bought out by another concentra clinic but does not accept my weekly urine drug test for alcohol for my work due to some unfortunate circumstances. Been to other concentra and let me tell you , SINCE DAY 1 this location has not made me wait for more than 10 mins unlike other clinics I got told it was an 8 hour wait ! Are you kidding me!! Anywho , all the staff that works here ; the front desk girls ( Alexa, Breauna, management, and boys in the in the back BIG TONE! Are freakin AWESOME! I always get greeted like I work here now haha ( i come weekly) they are soo quick and nice to everyone who comes in and knows how speak to patients in a respectable manner. Asked the receptionist thinking maybe I missed something. Nice enough but a second rude person jumped in explaining to takes time, 35 minutes? That's faster than 5 minutes to fill out a paper form? OK! Then after a drug sample and a 2 minute physical, actually a few questions and listening to my heart, I passed easily. But then they left me in a room for over 45 minutes waiting for release. Finally had to walk down the hall finding someone to ask if they had forgotten about me. Had to visit a Concentra for a physical and some blood work for my new job. Noticed all Concentras have horrible reviews, especially regarding wait times. So I was already expecting the worst. 40 min wait to be seen, not that bad. Had to remind front desk to text me a required form to fill out online, finish that, get handed some paper forms, finish those, wait a couple more minutes and I'm called back. I do a very quick vision test and am sat in a small room where I will be getting blood drawn and TDap shot. Male nurse asks "do you want the shot first or the blood draw". I say shot first, he pauses and says "well do the blood draw first". Ok.. no problem but why ask if I didn't really get a choice? He takes me to another room to wait for the doctor. Doctor comes in, asks a few yes or no questions. Says my blood pressure looks good. I didn't my blood pressure taken during this visit? He listens to my heart and lungs, says good, and leaves. I know I still have a lift test to do so I wait. Male nurse comes back and says "you can go you're all done". I say "uhh I haven't done my list test?". "Oh....". Then a female nurse comes for me and walks me across the building, sits me down, then I minute later says "I brought you to the wrong spot we're supposed to be over here", and takes me back to where I already was. Nice one. She has me do a strange push and pull test, says touch your toes five times, gives me a tool bag?? with a 30lb weight plate and says walk around the office. Then she says "okay you're going to crawl on your hands". What??? I was like wtf but too nervous to question it because it's got to be normal right? Otherwise why would she have me do it. so off I go crawling on my hands and toes about 10 feet. No gloves were offered prior and no hand sanitizer offered after. After I was just made to touch urgent care floor. She says "okay you're done", and turns around. I have never been here before and had to wander around trying to find the exit as there were no ceiling exit signs. I texted a friend who also works at my new job and asked what his physical was like and if he had to crawl on the floor. He says no and I find out he didn't have to do half the weird crap I had to. The female nurse conducting the physical was hardly watching any of the tasks I did but was she bullshitting me?? Has anyone ever had to crawl on the floor for a physical?? My neighbor asked me if I could recommend an urgent care to take her son to this morning and I told her there were two that I'd been to, one was good and the other okay but quite a bit cheaper. I couldn't remember the address for the cheaper one but could easily look it up for her. Which led to this review. If you haven't guessed Concentra in Industry is the inexpensive one. I noticed the reviews were awful for the most part and I feel bad for this place! I was initially referred there by another urgent care for a vaccine my son needed before entering the 7th grade and the first place was out of what we needed. We went directly over to Concentra upon referral so I never looked at reviews prior to walking in. Since that first visit I have used this place on two other occasions for different reasons. My experience has been consistent each time. The place is not very comfortable, very bare bones, the seats are plastic and hard in the waiting room, no magazines or plants. So waiting does seem amplified in this setting for sure. And we did wait about an hour each time. Also it does appear to be understaffed and the staff they do have seem overworked. However, the place is clean, the employees are actually very nice and helpful. They aren't effusive and shouldn't be judged on the first impression, if you can forgive that you will be pleasantly surprised. The doctor was great and they got us out of there within 15 minutes afterwards. Finally, they have the best prices I've ever seen for an urgent care! If you're paying out of pocket and cost is a concern then I would recommend this place, and I did this morning to someone who lives right next to me. read more

I had a terrible experience at this place. I got there at 7:10 am for a pre-employment physical. There was only one person waiting that got there before me. After waiting for over 1 hour I got yet more forms to fill out and was told to sit down and wait some more. I waited for a total of 1.5 hours to be seen. After the drug test and physical, I thought I was almost done, but then I had to wait for the doctor in a tiny exam room for an additional 1.5 hours!!!!! Wait times are absurd and there weren't even that many patients!! It was so bad that the staff were walking around the exam rooms passing out snacks and apologizing for the wait. The total length of the actual physical exam was barely 30 min. I waited for over 3 hours for a 30 min exam. Walked in there at 7 and by the time I got out was after 10:30. Unbelievable. The doctor looked so disoriented, like she didn't know what she was doing or where she was going. Checked me for 5 min and walked out without saying goodbye or letting me know the exam was complete. I just waited there thinking she was going to come back in, but 10 min later a staff member walked in and told me "you're done, we'll send it to the company" and left. I found the way out by myself and just walked out. I've done other pre-employment physicals at other places and have never seen this kind of wait times or treatment from doctors and medical staff. Terrible terrible terrible. Keep your damn snacks and provide service on a timely manner. I lost pay for the entire morning because of your incompetence. read more
