I was here for a work physical. The entire staff was cordial, professional and helpful. It was my first time using this location. By the time I had my paperwork completed I was called back to have my vitals taken. It was a very short wait before I was seen by the doctor. Far from perfect, but at least the staff was efficient and wait times were decent. If I absolutely HAD to come to Concentra (which was that case during my visit) I would ( which I did, and was advised to do) go out of my way to come back to this location. I was supposed to get a text with a link to sign off on my DOT card, but sat around until the front desk lady just kind of gave it to me, and let me go on with my day which i appreciated. I ended up getting the text at 7:34 p.m. which was about 4 hours after I had left. I think my biggest gripe with my visit was how dirty all of the chairs were in the waiting room. You could literally see the dirt and stains in the seats like they've never been washed, and the seats are dark blue. It was gross, like the workers just never go into that area or care. The Columbia Location. The front desk employees and the nurse was great! However, the DOT Doctor was horrible. He was dismissive and had a bad attitude. He had a personal phone call that he went out of the room for and especially after that call he came back into the room with a bigger attitude. I could tell the minute he walked into the room he had it out for me because I am overweight. I see my internal doctor every three months and just because you're overweight doesn't mean you're not healthy. This doctor really made me feel bad about myself and I don't think he is doing this facility any justice. As long as this doctor is in practice at this location, I will never be back. read more

I came here in November 2022 for a sick visit. I also had a pre employment physical done here last year which is why I came for a sick visit this time around. The front desk gets 5 stars for being amazing and professional as well as the assistant who checked my vitals and the doctor who helped me. However, I give 1 star because I overheard the assistant talk bad about me as she left the room. She was saying how I smelled bad and there were some back and forth from other staff members and they were basically making fun of me and I heard a man's voice say to the assistant "Oh, I bet you had a tough time looking at her in the eye"! Mind you, the exam room door was closed when she left the room. Word for the the wise: if you're going to talk bad about a patient who isn't feeling too well, make sure you do it where the patient can't hear! If the walls have ears, so so the doors. We are from California and are out here to drop off my daughter for college. Last night we found out she needed a DOD physical and frantically tried to find a new provider to get it done ASAP. Concentra was suggested and I'm shocked at how great the front desk staff has been. Friendly and helpful way beyond a basic level of customer service. So far we have been here about an hour and my daughter has been taken back for part of her exam. We are still waiting to see the doctor but there is only one working today. I've read the negative reviews about wait times and I'm not sure if they are deserved. My husband works in an emergency room and we are pretty spoiled when it comes to treatment. Walk in service is unpredictable and should be expected. Depending on the patient need, waiting 2 hours when you don't need an appointment imo is not a big deal. It's now been just over an hour and they have taken her back to see the doctor. This is WAY faster than I expected for walk in service. read more

This is for the Columbia location only. I will start with Megan the manager and the front desk staff were 5 stars, but I am giving 1 star for the techs and MD that I spoke to that day. I came in for a work physical so I was required to go to Concentra medical center. I politely refused one aspect of the physical and was faced with lack of communication with the staff. They automatically assumed I was "difficult" and spoke down to me the rest of the appointment. The provider used harsh words and illogical arguments to try to get me to comply with one small aspect of the exam which would not impact my ability to perform my job. I have never been spoke to by a provider with such lack of compassion or care. I left after our initial conversation because I did not want to speak or be touched by this medical provider. I ended up going to the Concentra in Elkridge and had a great experience without any issues. read more

This concentra location is one of the worst around. Long waits and no sense of urgency. Over 4 hours for a dot exam one one day and the over 3 hours for a urinalysis test on a different day. Over 3 hours just to pee in a cup is crazy. This location needs to be shut down. read more

If it wasn't for the company I was working for paying for me to get my hepatitis B vaccine I would have gone elsewhere after waiting an hour and a half for someone to stick a needle in my arm. People who were there for physical therapy and actually being sick was seen before me when they came in after me. It was the longest wait for just a shot I have ever had to sit for. read more

This place is a joke. Rude staff, complete disregard of appt times and just a general feeling of rundown place. Would give it zero stars if it was possible. Spoke with a scheduler Penny 2x and I swear it makes AT&T customer service seems like cloud 9 by comparison. If I had a choice, I would go elsewhere. My visit to Concentra in Columbia was less than pleasant, to say the least. The front desk employees where quite inattentive, more concerned about sharing pictures on their cell phone with coworkers than even acknowledging a patient at the counter. I was told my total time there would be about 1.5 hours. I there for over 3 hours. There were a few unsanitary issues, which is worrisome in a medical practice. And even the nurse was unprofessional, leaving the exam room for 20 minutes (after preparing vaccinations, which were left on the table) so another nurse could vent to her. Then asking me where she left off. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. Unfortunately it is commonly used for pre-employment vaccinations and testing, leaving one no choice to go elsewhere unless they want to pay out of pocket and go to their own physician. read more

The staff at Concentra were professional and friendly. They were able to see me immediately and were very thorough in their care. I got a little woozy after my blood draw since I hadn't eaten anything that day and the nurse immediately got me apple juice, snacks and an ice pack to help me recover. So, I spoke to a lady from Concentra about their fraudulent billing practices. Oh yes she was sooooo sorry I was over billed. I mean, the actual price was twice what everyone else is changing, but then they billed me for 5 times as much. For a three minute appointment. That I had to wait 2 1/2 hours for. Of course the girl never called or emailed or checked on my bill or did anything else she said she would do. There are only two things you can count on these people doing: lying and cheating. All of the people here who have been scammed should get together and start a class action lawsuit. read more

Every single employee was professional. I am picky and can't stare at needles going into me...no fear here...fast and done! I hoped it would be a visit that was not stressful and while I did not have any of their free coffee/tea and just chilled in the waiting room, I was received warmly at the Front Desk. I came here to get a drug screen for my job recently and it was meh an okay experience. It was kind of crowded when i went but they took me back right away which was good. However, the staff wasn't really all that. The nurse that did my drug screen was kind of blah and looked like she was having a bad day. Just told me to pee, sign some papers and bye. This facility is extremely over priced! Charged $95.00 for our employee to return, remove the bandage on his thumb, and check the stitches. Not remove the stitches, just look at them. We were charged the same fee to actually remove the stitches. That plus a $30.00 suture removal tray. They are used to gouging insurance companies. read more
