Terrible medical care .. Dot physicals and whatever they do there ... Please do not go a concentra Medical clinic.. in any location .. they are all incompetent yes .. I said incompetent physicians to workers .. They send you to specialists that you won't or do not need .. care of quality is extremely I mean extremely poor .. they are rude, inattentive and think they know better .. I'm writing this to tell them no you Don't .. They are bullies and feel very mistreated by this location .. do your physicals else where .. not with bunch of incompetent clowns .. and the Center Manager should be fired and replaced .. rude lady .. we lost 3 paychecks because of this location .. This place is a waste of time unless you need a drug test. The staff couldn't care less about proper patient care or maybe they missed that day at school??? Either way you could get better medical care from the bum on the corner than this place. I would rate it ZERO stars if I could. read more

I don't recommend it since my employer sent me there and they didn't do anything for me, they made me feel like I almost died and even so they didn't take good care of me I don't recommend anyone to go to that place they would let them die since the medicines they send to the pharmacy had nothing to do with what I felt. read more

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews. I came in for a pre-employment screen. The last one I did at a different location took over 3 hours. I came in on a Friday afternoon and had everything complete within an hour. Staff was great, including Connor who completed most of the tasks needed other than the physical. Physician was friendly. The staff have been very kind every time I have gone. The wait times can be long for walk-ins, but they do the best they can. I had a physical and multiple lab tests done with no issues during my time at the clinic. They care about the people and want to do their jobs well. read more

Needed a TDOT Med Card. Passed exam with no problem. Mentioned a nerve problem that appeared and subsided before the visit but out of transparency let the ME know. She put a hold on it and said I needed to see a specialist to be cleared. I went to a specialist who did multiple nerve test and completed the Cocentra sheet. Even explained what more than likely caused this problem over two months ago. But he cleared me and said I had no restrictions. I even paid out of pocket with no insurance. Cocentra then told me after I brought the paper back that a different ME said no I need to pay to see a primary care physician to clear me. So I politely asked to speak with whichever staff member is changing the requirements and the front desk told me "no". I can't talk to her. They couldn't even point me in the direction of a MD to clear me. Even tho on the door it says "Lisa______ MD" . I was talked to unprofessionally and belittled because I'm running out of money and time and no one wants to take accountability for not helping. Just sabotaging your employment and encouraging unhonest answers to survey questions. I even talk to the director I believe. She was so unhelpful, unempathetic. Now I've contacted the TDOT compliance office for my entitled second opinion. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND MENDEHALL COCENTRA FOR DOT. No one wants to genuinely help. Just cause difficulty and give you no helpful information or wrong information. With no accountability. I really hope they fix problems like this. My job paid for the physical but I spent way more money out of pocket seeing a specialist just to be told by someone new, that I need a primary care doctor to do the same nerve test the neurological chiropractor did and clear me. Had to visit this place for a respirator fitting for my employer. Sat in an exam room for 2 hours without seeing a soul. And yes at the hour mark omg poked my head out and asked how much longer i would be waiting. So someone knew I was in there. Do not go to this place. All I was waiting on were the forms to be signed. These people are true idiots. I told three different people at the front desk the tests that I needed to have done. Then I was taken back to have the tests that I needed done. The only reason I am giving them one star is because the tech who took care of my tests was delightful. She was organized and pleasant. Then comes in Dr. Jackson. I don't know how she made it through med school. She does not listen or at least comprehend what is being said. I told her the test I needed to be done and she said she would have to talk to the manager. I had the email of what I needed done and tried to show her. I asked her how much longer I needed to be there and her response was, "I have no idea. It depends on what you have to have done." Ummmm...thought I already covered all of that. IDIOTS. read more

Since I had a work injury, this is the place my employer referred me to. If your job sends the paperwork ahead of time, checking in is a cinch. The nurse does the preliminary checkup, and the doctor follows up promptly. They didn't find anything broken, but the doctor offered a fix for my ailment (a sprained foot joint), while showing me the radiography and explaining to someone who obviously didn't go to medical school what happened.
