Waited over 3 hours to get a TB test for work (it's required I went there) - then the nurse practitioner that ended up seeing me was acting as if it was an inconvenience that I was there- like she genuinely seemed annoyed that she had to drop in for 1 minute to stick a needle in my arm. *Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm* I visited this center last week. The check-in process was quick. Everyone complaining about the wait time but if you go early, you can get assisted quick. I understand not everyone can go early but as in many doctors office there is always a wait. My endocrinologist has me waiting three hours sometimes but he's the best and that's why I wait. It happens when locations are over populated. It's important to keep in mind that waiting times in a doctor's office can sometimes be longer than expected. Everyone deserves to get the attention and care they deserve. This has to be the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing this place for my pre-employment testing. I am a super patient person but when you make someone with an appointment wait 2 and half hours without anyone acknowleding your wait or reassuring you that youll be seen thats just rude. I was told computers were down but saw many people taken in while I sat. I know you sometimes wait at the doctors office but this was unbelievable and not once did a receptionist or anyone acknowledge my wait. I had to leave after 2 and half hours to take care of other commitments. Do better! At least reassure people they have not been forgotten! read more

If I could give less than a star I would. I left my job sick with the flu to wait for over TWO hours. This place has zero respect for you or your time. I was told that there were two patients ahead of me, while I watched the nurse call about 6 other people in before me. Nice communication. Went to this urgent care for back spasms only to wait an entire 1 hour and 15 minutes because the doctor went to lunch. They were only nice and apologetic after I inquired about the wait time and realized the issue. I left after I found out this information. The front desk lady was a little cold when I walked and seemed like she couldn't be bothered... even told me "I don't know what the doctor will really do for you, but you can wait." (You shouldn't be giving medical advice unless you are a doctor) I get it that we can all be tired of our jobs especially that the healthcare field is a thankless job, but it doesn't take much to be nice to people. I have family who work in healthcare and understand there can be a lot of miscommunication between the front desk and the doctor but no one likes when others waste their time. Really bad experiences. I have been there a few times now and the front desk is very rude. Jai specifically. She makes approaching the front desk very uncomfortable, has a rude tone, and makes you feel like you are bothering her if you need anything. The nurses and doctors have always been exceptional. Wish I could give zero stars. Got the tip of the q tip stick in my ear and to say I was freaking out would be an understatement, came here instead of the west Caldwell urgent care cause it was a few minutes closer. Never again. The woman who greeted me was not encouraging or sympathetic by any means and literally said "well, we'll see if they can get it out" with a dry attitude. She said it would be over an hour wait and after I filled out the papers and waited 50 min, they called me up and told me they didn't take my insurance and it could be close to $400 if I payed out of pocket. The two women behind the desk gave off the vibe that they did not like dealing w people and we're almost annoyed by the amount of people there. I left. I am now at the west Caldwell location. They took me in in a matter of 15 min, took my insurance and staff was way more pleasant. read more

Really impressed by Dr. Daftani and the entire crew here at concentra. I walked in when I was unable to get an appointment with a specialist for a month and was diagnosed and cared for immediately. Usually I don't like to do the review for business like this because I feel like they don't have the same stuff everyday and ones experience is not the same as other experience... but I am just going to put my two cents here and let you be the judge on this place... and I will be generous on the stars since this place is indeed new, clean, and I think they offer a lot of different treatment options... after this.. don't expect anything positive... Wait time: as you walk in, they point you to singe in, fill out the paper with your info and the drop off your ID and your insurance card... I honestly was having a 101.6 fever, I sat there in the chair sweating for an hour, and I had to get up and see if everything is ok... went to the receptionist and ask, she said 'well the wait is an hour long you know..' well apparently I don't know, if I know I may not come... and at the time I walk up to her, I waited almost an hour, I was hoping my time is up!!! Then she call me and pay!!! Woo!!! Ok, I will pay, but she is going back and forth and phone and my credit card, give it back to me then ask me for it again... maybe she is new?? But still, I already don't like her attitude to begin with, so I didn't even bother.. then back to my chair.. by the time, my pants and shirt and soaked!! And I am cold!!! Still waiting... they then call my name to go to the room after 2 hour of waiting in that chair... I though i can go home soon!!! NOPE... nurse went over history, why are you here, do the vital and thing... and said doctor will be in shortly... and that was 30 min ago... I am still sitting on this bed, waiting for the dr to come in and see if i am still alive!!! Sigh... I mean what kind of urgent care is this?? Expect you to wait for an hour to 2 to just to get check out by nurse and then another 30-60 min to see the dr... honestly, i just need my vita check.. I know dr is not going to give me anything to clam my fever except Tylenol... maybe I should just leave... I paid anyway.... so angry... not coming back to this place ever again... I will drive farther to west Calder to see the Doctor's office... I have been here numerous times so this is not a one time review. The staff (medical) that work in the back are pretty good...meaning they are knowledgeable and good. However, the front staff is abrupt, rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever. The last place they should be working is with other people. Not only is the main front desk clerk rude with patients but complaining and bossing around others workers who are in the area as well. No wonder this place has so many bad reviews. Ever Medical Bldg I have been to doctors office etc has strict COVID policies example no more then 2 people in a room together they normally tell you to wait in car due to COVID, NOT HERE! I walked in their were literally at least a dozen people all masked up (all probably w/ COVID) I had made an appt for physical 40 minutes after my scheduled time, I'm still waiting in my car (I wasn't waiting in COVIDLAND) then they the nerve to call me in my car wanting me to come in to make a payment?! I asked my appt was 45 mins ago when will I be seen she said after you make payment, they will call You in when they are ready NO TIME FRAME again I HAD AN APPT I was not a walk-in. Payment LOL For what? Umm nope why so you have me captive as I already paid? Besides the lack of safety distancing by having far too many people waiting in same area, IMHO The are not practicing good hygiene the reception handed me a pen god knows who else used it before her there was no containers I normally see if Drs office indicating these are sanitized pens and these are dirty she just handed me one right from her hand? I mean, for a healthcare facility this is UNACCEPTABLE - I WOULD AVOID ESPECIALLY WITH THE COVID SURGE!!! read more

this place lacks any kind of professionalism. They are rude and incompetent. DOT uses them for their physicals With an appointment, took almost 5 hours. Came back 2 days in a row to obtain the DOT card. They said they are too busy (1 person in the waiting room) and that they may be able to get to it after lunch. (MInd you, it takes only minutes to sign the card at the bottom) Came back 2 hours later, still no card. Told us to come back before 5pm today lets see how that works out read more

I went to get a medical report for the DMV as I was told that they provide them. However, the medical report that he could give was only valid for three months. Without doing any sort of diagnostic testing, he diagnosed me with sleep issues based on my height and weight. I don't have any sleep issues. This was misleading as before I went in I was not told that they have medical reports valid only for three months and I was misdiagnosed without proper diagnostic testing. read more

I went on 1/25/19 at 7PM @ Parsippany NJ. Office was clean and wait time was short. The lady at the counter didn't smile and not professional. She made a fuss about something that shouldn't be a big deal to anyone who are professional. She was quite rude, no tenderness as person who work in this service should be. No "thank you" when I leave either. On the other hand, the man who who handled my account (collect urine sample ) inside was professional, attentive and friendly. He made me feel valuable and at ease. Concentra should train this counter lady how to greet people and give credit to that man who was wonderful in the back office. read more

After reading some yelp reviews, I was going to pass on this place. But it is so convenient, so decided to give them a try. It's a clean and spacious place. Plenty seating. Hope it's not the sign that is constantly crowed with sick people. Before the welcoming lady could say hello. She told me it be a 2 hour wait Well I got here at 8:45, and sat till 11:25am when got called in to be seen. Then waited till 11:45 to be seen by a doctor. It seems like 2 hours is there welcoming line from reading other reviews. And hearing her tell others the same thing. And there was only 7 people seated when I walked in. So possibly not many doctors work on Friday's. The check in lady was nice enough to offer to call me if I wanted to go sit in my car. That was nice of her. But So finally got out of there at 12:00pm. So not recommended if need to see some one fast Once inside the the doctor was very thorough of her check up on me. I was very happy with how she carried herself. I was very happy with the way her questions and everything and her options of what to give me. The two stars are only because if you going into emergency care or urgent care place it shouldn't take you 4 hours and there was only 7 people in there. So I'm not sure how their system is. It must not be first come first serve. A schedule that people can call in and make a time schedule appt and they get first priority over the people walking in. But when asked if can schedule a time the doctor said it's not there practice to schedule appointments. But while I was in the waiting room. People that came in after me. When their names were called they said for a scheduled appointment. So not sure what's that about. read more

Slime balls! Today about 4 pm there was someone lying on the concrete in the parking lot not moving right in front of this place. No Joke about 5 or 6 people ran into the place telling these pieces of trash what was going on, and they refused to help. 10 to 15 minutes rolls by until the police and medial units arrived from someplace else. Did you join the medical profession for the money obviously instead of what your supposed to do. We already video taped the whole thing and sent it off to the local tv station! read more

Visited this place yesterday, Sunday the 14th. They shouldn't call this place an URGENT care center. Waited about 1.5 hours in the lobby. Then waited about 25 min for the doctor, after getting vitals checked by the nurse. Spent 2.5 hours here, ended up leaving with no prescription, or advice, or anything (the doctor did not have any experience or specialties in the dermatology sector, as I had rashes and over 200 breakouts all over my body). He suggested a two week steroid course, but i declined as i didn't want to pop pills randomly without knowing the cause of what was going on. Planning to see a dermatologist today; unfortunately they weren't open on Sunday and I wasted my whole Sunday morning and $100. I respect the doctors honest advice saying he didn't have experience with this, but i'm more mad about the 2.5 hour waste. read more

Rude inconsiderate staff. No help at all. Brought in our bleeding 4 year old (wasn't a big deal I understand) he just slipped and fell and was scraped up from the parking lot. We were merely looking for someone to let us clean him up in the bathroom and maybe throw a bandaid our way. Instead they said we're busy you can wait to hours if you want. Definitely need some help with bedside manor and customer service. You're better off at Walgreens next door where the pharmacist and staff were outstanding. read more

The doctor I saw for tonsillitis wanted to send me to the hospital rather than treat me. also could not recommend a specialist in the area for me to see. she said "sorry I'm not from around here,I don't know any ear nose and throat doctors." Front desk staff awful. Turn away patients when their advertising states they are open. Claim to add new patients up to an HOUR before closing. Doctors are ok but slow and everyone there rolls their eyes when a new patient does make it to the back near closing time. If you don't want to work then don't. Plenty of out of work people to take your jobs. I have been here many times because it's closest to my home but done now. Too many other places nearby that want my business. read more

Went there today for a knee injury. The receptionist was warm and friendly and easy to talk to. The facility was very clean and quiet. The wait was about 20 minutes with about 4 people in front of me. The doctor I had was awesome!! They took 3 X-Rays of my knee. The doctor is extremely nice/open/knowledgeable/talkative. NEVER again will i go here, id rather be dying in the street than get medical help from this company. a simple small fatty tissue deposit on the side of my finger back in september. i was a new patient, so i guess that meant stick me in a room for 25 mins and have the doc come in for 5 mins to look at the issue. then on the bill it says new patient 30 min appointment..how about 5 mins dumbasses. then that small little procedure cost me about 290 dollars. so i set up a 3 month payment plan. november, december and january. well wouldnt you know i get a letter from a collection agency yesterday. what is the point of setting up a payment plan when they are not going to even follow it. fuck them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! waste of my time and hard earned money. read more

I was also at the Parsippany office. I got there at 8: 50. I was not seen until about after 10. Remember it is urgent. The doctor examine me and suggested several medical requirements. That was after he looked at me about an hour after he called my employers and came back in the room and told me there is nothing he can do I have to see my personal physician. This doctor does not work for patience , he worked for the insurance company. I guess it is where the money is and not t he pain someone is feeling. read more

I ended up here on the Thursday before New Years because I had infected tonsils and my docs office could only fit me in at 10pm..I honestly thought they were kidding, now that I know they have night hours I prob would have just went there. I got there around 10am, signed in, filled out the paperwork, there was probably about 6 people ahead of me for various ailments. The office is small and creeped me out because I could only imagine the number of gross people who had been in and out of there over the last few weeks. I wasn't seen till almost 1.5 hours after I got there. I really don't understand why or how it took this long but I didn't have much of a choice at that point. I did not enjoy the doctor so much. She was very curt and had little bedside manner--listen I know I was at urgent care but that doesn't mean you should be crappy or impatient with people esp when they're sick. She was irritated with me that I couldn't tell her when my last period was. I could tell her roughly but not exactly...she was so persistent I almost said LOOK I'm not pregnant just give me some antibiotics and let me get out of here please. She gave me a 10 day course of antibiotics, again I'm not a doctor so Idk if there was a reason for this vs just giving me a Zpack but whatever within 2 days the infection cleared up....then I got the flu a week later and sinus flare up another week after that--none of that was urgent cares fault it's just been a rough month hah. The one thing I will say was she told me to take probiotics with the antibiotic which I was impressed with because a lot of doctors don't know or don't care to advise on issues like that. To sum it up I would say I'm grateful that urgent care exists and was able to take me---and that my insurance covered the visit. The waiting room was clean, front office staff were friendly and efficient, wait time was minimal (10:30am on a Friday, 15 minute wait), the PA was attentive and helpful. I was not prepared to wait for over an hour, but I did. Next time, I will call for an appointment, which I did not know about. I would have given this center a 5-star rating based on the MD that examined me. He was fantastic! I won't give his name. I think that there are only two or three physicians at this site and one is a woman. The MD was articulate, gave me a thorough examination, was very professional, had a very nice bedside persona, explained his diagnosis carefully and thoroughly and prescribed what must be the correct meds as I felt much better after the first round. I had a terribly deep cough, which abated the next day. I had bronchitis and was worried about it evolving into pneumonia, something I had experience before. He also was willing to listen to my concerns and past history of pneumonia and responded in a professional manner. I have advanced degrees in science and know something about disease and the human body. I would have given this guy an A for current knowledge and professional manner. My regular doctor was on vacation and I would have easily switched to this guy as my regular physician. I don't know about the other physicians at this site. read more
