They had time to clean up since it was not busy at all (no other patients except maybe two) and I saw staff sitting at their computers. I was waiting roughly 40 minutes (which is fine I get it) but Idk why they left vomit dried out (vomit can contain bloodborne pathogens like HIV or Hepatitis and infectious viruses like norovirus) for other young patients to touch and come in contact and get sick from. Do better!

The doctor was nice but she examined him for maybe 3 minutes if that. I understand having a lot of patients and being understaffed but dont continue to take more appointments if you don't have enough practitioners to care for sick children and babies. Two days later he was admitted to the emergency room where he stayed for 3 days extremely sick with an upper respiratory virus similar to RSV. Will not be coming back. Could have been avoided if they had provided him with better care and taken his symptoms more seriously.

This is really 2 reviews in one place, from 2 visits of different persons in one week. In a…read morenutshell the reason of the poor review is that the doctors from the facility are much more concerned in CYA than doing the right thing for their patients. They don't seem to believe that the proven value of Paxlovid for Covid is worth their perceived risk in prescribing it. They push the prescription on somebody else, anybody else, while the effectiveness of the drug is very dependent on a timely prescription. The first patient, my wife was 66 years old. She had symptoms including high fever. The PCR test was taken Saturday. No result Sunday. Finally a positive result Monday afternoon. It was late already but the doctor still found a superficial reason not to prescribe Paxlovid pushing it on the primary care. By the time he could prescribe it, which was trivial, it was too late to be used. The second patient was her mother, 86 years old. She was visiting from Eastern Europe so there was no way for her to reach her doctors there in the critical time. They found she had Covid, I told them that before the test, and refused to provide any treatment. When you don't want to take any risk in taking a position it is very easy to find one negative interaction to one of the medicines an 80 year old is taking. You have to take a judgement call about the risk you have in not treating Covid versus the risk of a negative interaction from Paxlovid. You can just suspend the medicine having the interaction. But why take a risk when you can find a reason to be safe? That means you, the doctor, not the patient. These 2 doctors endangered the lives of their patients in order for themselves to be safe. They should not be allowed to be doctors at all.

The doctor and staff were very kind and professional. The location is also very convenient.read more

They cleaned up the office, up-dated and it's a smooth moving machine from the time you call up and make your appointment to your intake information done on the monitor by you, and in seconds you are signed in and wait time is minimal! Friendly administrative attendants and the pa's and nurses and doctors are all very efficient, allow you to talk and explain your issues or questions, don't rush you and are thorough and age appropriate if you are with an elder family member or teenage son or for yourself - great people skills and polished manner of behavior. We were there 2 weeks ago for my son, 18 year old adventurer who had cut his knee up really bad, while "investigating an abandoned insane asylum" up in NY and had ER attention there - we went to Dr. Ardito for a 2 day check up, at this Valley Health Medical Group Urgent Care; the nurse attended Jack and did all his vitals and cleaned his wound and then the doc came in, he answered every question my son had and mine too, gave us great DIY ways to keep the wound clean at home as well as a whole other discussion about college bound inoculations that Jack was about to start before leaving for college in Sept. Well, suffice it to say, we were so impressed that we just assigned both our 2 teenage sons & our 24 year old son to have their (Oxford United Healthcare Liberty Plan) PCP, Primary Care Physician be Dr. Michael Ardito. The office is 2 miles from our house, hours are very flexible and open 7 days - WAY BETTER than going to an ER and waiting for 8 hours or more and being exposed to deadly diseases and infections just sitting in the waiting room! We stay from hospitals as best we can, since I caught two lethal "hospital borne" infections and fell gravely sick both times! NOTE TO PUBLIC - IF YOU ARE ON AN ANTIBIOTIC OF ANY KIND AND MUST GO INTO AN ER OR HOSPITAL - TELL THEM IMMEDIATELY THAT YOU ARE ON AN ANTIBIOTIC AND WHAT IT IS AND HOW LONG - SO THEY CAN COVER YOU WITH A PROTECTIVE COUNTER MEDICATION, SO THAT (due to low or no good flora in your gut, because of the antibiotic you were taking) you do not catch C-DIFF or other HIGHLY contagious infections that run rampant in ER's and hospitals! That is the 1% of germs that the hand-sanitizers don't kill! Hooray for Valley Health Medical Group-Urgent Care Riverdale -- we look forward to a long and HEALTHY relationship!

Not sure what's happened here but this place has gone downhill significantly. Arrived to an empty waiting room with ear pain. Was hoping to be seen quickly. The front desk mentioned they would see me "right away" ... 1 hour and 20 minutes later and no word from anyone (???). I checked back in with the front desk and they saw me 3 minutes later. There was literally no one in the waiting room but 3 front desk clerks and zero (0) patients. Not sure what's Dr. Solomon's hold up was or whether the front desk forgot about me. Horrible, just horrible. Would give this place zero stars if possible. Come on Valley Health - what is up with your customer service?
