However, she came in with a box, pulled out a thin "sleeve" said it could go right over my sock, slipped it on and pulled 3 Velcro straps over my foot, handed me the box and left. The doctor didn't mention whether i should not bear any weight on it or not. When I got home I found 2 more straps in the box that are part of a 3 part brace. I scanned the QRS code and watched a 1 inch video with no audio that I could barely see. I still do not know if I'm applying the 3 parts correctly. I went for the MRI today, a week later and was not allowed to get seen because I have a service animal for a previous spinal injury. I have had 3 MRI's, 2CT scans and abdominal surgery at the Mayo Clinic- all accompanied with my service dog who is registered with the Department of Transportation and flys every where I go- twice a year- without a single complain. Cured my Blepharospasm, and more…read more.. A year ago I developed an unusual condition with my eyes where they involuntarily closed and were irritated, forcing me to not be able to drive and work. After several visits to optometrists who incorrectly diagnosed the condition as dry-eye and much research later, I determined that it is a neurological condition. Getting an appointment from a neurological specialist take months; while no work or driving or normal life. More research and talking to others, an eye doctor's assistant said she had heard of this condition being treated with botox injections in the eyelids. I setup an appointment with NM Eye Associates and it helped the condition (a "band-aid" solution, not correcting the cause), but with side-affects. The best part of the botox was that now I know the problem: Blepharospasm. The condition I had is called Blepharospasm, which is an abnormal contraction of the eyelid muscles. Now that I know the condition...more research, and more options, such as acupuncture. I setup an appointment with Dr. Geoffrey N. Hayes at Endpoint Wellness. Geoffrey say me that day. I had never had acupuncture before, and didn't have an opinion regarding if I believed in eastern medicine or not. One thing is for sure, I didn't know how it worked. Geoffrey talked with be to describe the basics of opening-up or releasing the chi (energy) and blood. He said due to my condition (again, unable to work and live a normal life for months), I should receive treatment frequently at first. I received acupuncture around my eyes (mainly) and other normal spots every other day for the first couple of weeks. After the first two visit I noticed relief, I was VERY excited. Within 2 weeks the condition was much better, at least to the point where I could drive and work and live normally. We changed our appointments to 2 per week, then 1 per week, then 1 per 2 weeks, and now 1 per 3 weeks. I AM CURED!!! ENDPOINT WELLNESS saved me. In a very short time Geoffrey resolved my problem, where many other doctors could not. I now go to Endpoint Wellness about every 3 weeks. Now I ask Geoffrey to focus on other stuff in addition to my eyes; such as allergies or injuries or soreness or general tune-ups. It is amazing how far-reaching acupuncture is regarding our bodies. In addition to the acupuncture by Endpoint Wellness, some other benefits are that they take most medical insurance, they support other muscle/body rehab work, and Geoffrey is open / willing to help in any area you may need assistance. Geoffrey and Jennifer are personal, very nice, and great contributors to our health...wonderful assets to our Albuquerque community.

My case is complicated and we talked about what could and couldn't be done and schedule for MRI's and followup. Getting an appointment was quite easy and they send a link by text to actually check in you load your information including ID and a picture so when we arrived there it was a quick process. We were sent up to the second floor and were told to follow the orange line to a waiting room that was packed! We were told they will see 900 Patients today! Yes, 900. The parking lot was full too and I am handicapped so my hubby had to park a ways away. The wait was over a half an hour but once they got us in the room it went quickly. I was taken to Xray. The 4 stars is for the lady in Xray who lacked kindness. After your appointment you wait for a few minutes and a Gentleman comes in and schedules your MRI (which is done in the same building) and then the followup. He was wonderful even if he was a Kansas City FAN.

It's a nice little Private Practice in the Encino complex among other small Medical Offices. The employees of always been helpful, friendly and efficient. I've had several nurse practitioners come and go through the years some I have enjoyed some were just my nurse practitioners. It's usually not very crowded, not long of a wait and you can usually get same-day appointments. It's in a great location right off of the freeway with plenty of off-street parking and directly across from the pharmacy how convenient is that? Although the staff has changed throughout the years the care and attention from the doctor and nurse practitioners have not changed. There's plenty of seating inside this little office with a television, wager station, plenty of magazines to read and beautiful photography decorating the walls. They do have after hours doctors on staff and you usually get a call back very quickly. I would recommend this office for someone who is looking for a reliable doctor or an efficient nurse practitioner but don't become too attached to them because they seem to come and go often. I would not like to recommend this office because I enjoy it being small and not crowded and being able to get same-day appointments. So to Roundup this review its a great office, great staff, great nurse practitioners and a great old grumpy Dr.
