Bad customer service the lady at the front desk she's really rude. She should not be in the position. i will, never recommend this place.

I went because a job position I'm apply for required me to get a drug test and a physical. Stacy in the front was very cheerful and helpful she even told us the expected wait time because the doctors was busy which was awesome and Dr. Hernandez was very kind patient and proficient at his job he even had me get my medical records from my primary clinic to check my A1C results before he passed me for my physical. First of all, my doctor told me he would order my perscription to a specific CVS location. I went there after my appointment, waited in line & was told they had no idea & no one had ordered my perscription. I tried to call Concentra, & they were closed. Total waste of time. The next day, I called Concentra again. Calling this place is so frustrating. You can almost never reach the front desk, it instead sends you to a random person who works for Concentra which obviously is no help to me in this situation. When I finally reached the front desk I explained to her my perscription was never ordered. She didn't apologize at all, or say anything about the mistake, even though it was their fault I was uncomfortable & without medication for an additional 12 hours? She said ok, here is the address of the CVS we ordered the medication to. It was not the one we had agreed on previously, but I just said ok whatever. I get to the CVS now, the second CVS, & now theres another issue. I'm a Veteran & the medication should be free, as long as the urgent care office CALLS Tricare & activates the coverage. This is very common knowledge, but of course this Concentra did not do that for me. I defintely expected it. I ended up waiting at the pharmacy for an additional HOUR while the poor pharmacy tech called Concentra & Tricare multiple times trying to get the issue fixed. It was super frustrating. The lady at the front desk of Concentra mentioned on the phone she was there alone today & had a waiting room full of people & not a lot of help, which is why it took so long. Sounds like a company issue to me. Why is she the only person working there? Will never return. read more

If you want to be treated in a respectful way, DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!! The staff is absolutely disrespectful. The attending nurse was a total nightmare and shouldn't be in a patient facing role. In fact, she shouldn't be dealing with the public in any way. Awful service. Went in for a simple physical and drug screening and it took them 4 hours to get this done. Facilities are gross (Urine all over the bathroom floor), staff is rude, and I genuinely felt awful being there. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

Not a good place to come for a DOT physical, go somewhere else if you don't want to waste six hours of your time

For drug tests, Concentra has to be the cheapest option for the employer. Or, your employer hates you. If this is your required option for drug testing, I'd recommend picking a different employer -- the employer's extreme stinginess with using this place means you won't enjoy working with the employer. Long wait even when they're not busy (cough, empty). Thirty minutes to receive a form to fill out. In fairness, it's a long wait for a doc-in-the-box, but not long compared to an ER. Sadly, I've been here four times for an employer test that has, well, four stages. Nights, Saturday, empty. You know, the times you would think a place like this would be busy, because the alternatives are either closed or the ER. The urgent signs everywhere must be aspirational, because nothing seems urgent here. One night, I got to wait on the receptionist until after she interviewed a potential employee. Seriously. The process changes a bit every time. At one visit, a new rule struck me as a power trip until the receptionist told me I could be seen without meeting the new rule if I paid for the visit. But, wait, the employer is already paying for this visit. Oh, ho. Now I get it. read more

The black female receptionist named Shawna hates white people. She was really rude to me and told me it'd be over an hour wait. Literally everyone else that came in that weren't white got offered a complimentary water bottle and weren't told about any wait and got seen before me. Racism is alive and thriving here. WORST customer service ever! I don't live in Dallas however I got very sick and needed to see a doctor asap So I went to Concentra. The receptionist Rixannea was rude and didn't know what Kaiser is so she let 6 people go before me even though I kept throwing up. After a few hours I arguing with her I got to see a doctor. Doctor was nice but didn't find anything, but have me a prescription for stomach pains so I was like okay cool. Flash forward to today the receptionist never submitted the claim to my insurance, she just billed me directly so the fighting with her was for nothing because now I need to speak with there corp offices to get them to bill my insurance. If you don't have instance then I guess it's okay because they are in exspensive, but honestly I would go to a different one because this place will give u the biggest headache. read more

My husband hurt his foot/ankle over the weekend. We did the whole RICE thing, rest ice compression and elevation. Swelling continued along with pain so Monday morning we decided to go up there to get X-rays. HORRIBLE idea!! We got there fairly early in the morning with very few people in the waiting room. We waited and waited and then we waited some more. People came and went and I understand a lot of people go there for business reasons and that's why they were in and out so quickly but come on! We finally were called to the back, got the X-ray, crutches and were told to wait up front to be discharged. Ok, so we go up front. Guess what we do there? Yup, we do some more waiting. Now I wouldn't be frustrated if the girl at the front desk didn't actually forget about us, but she did! When I asked her for Dr's note we had already discussed she looked up like a dear in the head lights! [Oh yea, I'm still here! I thought to myself]. Wait time was very long as for on weekends there is only one doctor. I was kindly notified about the long wait time as I signed in. The front desk receptionist, nurse and doctor were all very very knowledgeable and professional. I'd definitely come here again. read more

The doctor wrote an insufficient note to cover my absence from work. I returned to ask for a sufficient note but the doctor that saw me was off for a week and the doctor that was in would only write me the correct note if I paid for another visit. The front lead was rude and showed no compassion. Terrible customer service. Will not be back. read more

THE WORST! I had to get a drug test and TB test for my new job. I got in, and did my drug test and TB test. I came in 3 days later to get a TB test looked at, they made me wait 45 minutes before they called me into the back, finally they called me back. They spent less than 1 minute with me, didn't even take me into a room, glanced at my arm, and told me I was good, and never wrote anything down. They told me they'd send in my drug test results and TB test. I had to move to my job in Colorado, and I finally made it there, and the first day of training was one MONTH later, and my job had never received my information! I called Concentra TWICE telling them I needed them to send it in ASAP, and they pretty much blew me off on the phone. I had to give the number to my boss, and she ended up calling, and finally getting my results. Turns out they never even wrote my TB test result down, so after spending $45 there, I was told I have to completely redo my TB test. I can promise I will not be going there. read more

To add insult, I just received a bill for a $39 strep test though they tested me before even asking my symptoms and $246 for a new "detailed office visit" despite 30 seconds of the physician's time. I then spent $200 2 days later to go to a City Doc and actually get treated. Appalling. NEVER again will Concentra get business from me or anyone I can influence. Zero stars! read more

Been coming to Concentra for years fast and easy. This location is new been at this one about 3 times always empty and quiet but fast. The only dislike I have is they always want to check your neck and throat if you're over weight and send you to get a sleep study. I'm sure it's for my benefit but it's a hassle. Other than that the staff is very friendly and helpful and the Doctors are great. Keep up the great work guys. read more

Worst place ever!!! Waited 3 hours, then confirmed broken bone in my neck, but dr said it still has to go to radiology, which he said they would mark urgent. No one ever called from radiology by the time the office closed and the doctor never sent over prescriptions for pain. Office closed tomorrow. Answering service said to just go to ER and redo X-rays if I want to get any answers about broken bone in neck or pain relief before Monday. Worst place ever!!! I've been here at least 4 times now and I've always received great service overall. The last time I had to wait around 30 minutes, which is not bad considering there were 4 other patients before me. The test results came back in around 10 minutes after the samples were taken and Dr. J. King was very thorough in his explanations. I would recommend it for sure. read more

I'd been coughing and sneezing and generally feeling lousy for about 24 hours, so I decided to see a doctor and make sure this wasn't something worse than a cold. Turns out it was just a cold. But the doctor actually chastised me for coming in when I wasn't very sick. Seriously, he told me next time to wait until I was worse, and that by doing that I wouldn't waste my money or his time. Well, doc, my money is none of your business, and I'm sorry my cold wasn't as challenging as all those on-the-job injuries sitting out in the lobby. And BTW, if I don't need an antibiotic, that's fine, but don't try to convince me that taking one course of antibiotics will render me immune to their effects from here on out. I may not have "MD" behind my name, but I know that's not how it works. Two stars because the staff is friendly and helpful. read more

UPDATE: Saw a 'doctor' (Matthew E Scott) at Concentra on 6/16/15. I originally had an appointment with a doctor for Friday, but since I was receiving conflicting information, I moved my appointment up. The first thing Dr Scott asked me was why I was there. I explained I needed a diagnosis (given 3 different ones so far) so I can get treated and get back to work. He crossed his arms and said, "Well, what diagnosis do you think I'm going to give you?" I replied that he was the doctor and that was his job. For his exam, he had me shake my wrist, bend my wrist, grab his fingers, tell him where it hurt and said he agreed with all the diagnosis' of a bruise, a sprain and carpal tunnel. HUH? I'm confused! After numerous phone calls and persistence, I got an appointment with a hand specialist...NOT Concentra! Today, I went and saw a TRUE doctor. My hand was examined completely and thoroughly by a wonderful hand specialist. I was also given a completely different diagnosis than the previous 3 diagnosis' I received from Concentra. Hand specialist said to remove the split that Concentra ordered me to wear 24/7 and absolutely NO physical therapy. Imagine that...Concentra ordered physical therapy for me 3 times a week. He contradicted the 'findings and treatments' I received from Concentra. I strongly suggest you think twice about stepping foot into this place. The care you receive is a joke! read more

My wife went for a shot and they placed it incorrectly resulting in severe arm pain and restricted movement. They agreed it was their fault, then filed it as a workers comp which was denied. They didn't bother to let her know. Now it's been three weeks with no therapy and their management doesn't seem to care. Their staff failed on this. read more

Had a visit in late June, had some confusion with my husband on who paid the bill and went to pay at end of Oct. They had already sent me to collections - no phone call attempt. Yes, it was exactly 4 months from the date of service but that's BS. I'll never ever use them again and i would urge to pay immediately. 38 years of absolutely perfect credit - 1st time sent to collection on a 4 month old healthcare bill with no phone call. read more
