I was concerned because I saw blood on my pillow after a week. I went to the Urgent care to have them look at it, and they cleaned it up and sent me home. I went back the next day at their request to ensure that everything was fine. They were able to remove the staples from my head and gave me antibiotics. The staff was incredibly kind and very professional. I had handled this experience of cracking my head open pretty well until today. Realizing just how serious it was, I was on the verge of tears most of the time. The staff held my hand and explained that I had every right to be that nervous. It was a traumatic experience and I've come through it well. I want to thank the staff at Gemini Urgent care Kenzie, Jackie, and the nurse practitioner Laura Gordon. They all treated me with extreme kindness. I recommend this Urgent care to anyone in the Clear Lake area that needs medical attention

He and I both caught Covid there. One of the nurses there had mentioned to me she was just getting over Covid. They sent my husband for dialysis in Deer Park early in the morning but did not pack him a lunch or stay with him. I was going through skin cancer and could not be there. When I got to his room about 4 pm he was still not back and when he did arrive he was soaked in urine as the dialysis facility did not have anyone there to help him to bathroom. He also had sepsis when he got to hospital. He never completely recovered and passed away. Stay away from Sylvan.

It's like they forgot how they got you in there in the first place..... Promises and reeling family members into that SHIT HOLE of a care facility. The don't care once you have signed all the paperwork, the already see dollar signs. My family member was in this place, and she was sick most of the time. No one would come after the call button not even her yelling for help. She laid in her own urine for 6 HOURS, and nobody checked on her until we the family members checked our cameras that we installed and found this out. That same night they dropped her in the shower, and she broke her shoulder. It was all downhill from here. She never really recovered from the fall. even after the fall NO physical therapy. She was in better shape before we had her admitted her into Sylvan Shores. Today we no longer have my family member with us after 2 months and if we would have known that this place would not be taken care of her like they said they would, we would have never put her in this place. And she still would have been with us. If you are thinking about putting your family member in this facility DO NOT!!!!!!! Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I bright my wife here to get her results on her bloodwork. The office and facility are very nice. The staff is very courteous and efficient. We have the same great care here that we had previously only it seems to be a little faster and more efficient here!! They have the same Covid protocol procedures as some other offices have. You go into the office to sign the patient check in sheet and then return to your car and wait just a bit for them to call you when the Doctor is ready to see you! We are very happy with it!!!

So now I have to wait 6-9 weeks to get a refund. Unacceptable and the flat rate of $170 needs to change. No one should have to pay a blanket payment for the visit. The saying the customer is always right still holds to the highest level of customer service, even if a customer is wrong there's a way to defuse a situation that the office stay doesn't understand. They would rather argue + be right! For that reason I'd rather drive further to know my family is going to be treated with kindness + respect from beginning to end. The drs here once you get passed the front desk were really really good I will say. I've had pleasant experiences with them, and the nurses we're extremely knowledgeable and so friendly.
