I suffered a work related injury that sent me to this urgent care. I had been here before years earlier and was not excited to return. I dreaded all the personal time I would have to spend going through the process. To my surprise the physical therapy staff was different from my past time here. What a difference and in the best way!! From the ladies at the desk to just everyone overall it was like family, it was funny and I found myself looking forward to going!! My pt Matt helped me through step by step until I was completely healed. His down to earth silly yet serious personality was the star of the show!! He is genuinely a good person and loves his job and it shows. I am very thankful for the entire PT staff and other pt there that combined together being equivalent to a big family. Upon my final day there I found myself sad to be leaving!! I give 10 stars to this group and thank you for making my healing experience such a wonderful one!!! The staff is rude and condescending. There is at least a 2 hour wait for a urine sample with 9 people in the waiting area. An elderly gentleman at least 75 came in required a urine test and he was told to wait 2 hours poor guy couldn't wait.. this place and staff need to seriously take a training course on empathy and time management. Was worried after reading other reviews and I'm sure it depends on the day and time, but my visit today was pretty much as efficient as possible. In and out in 45 minutes for drug screen and pre-employment physical. Nursing staff was helpful and provider was friendly and quick. Only complaint is the entire staff was referring to the PA as doctor, but for my type of visit the level of training didn't matter much. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. I understand it's a 24 hour facility and it's walk ins and appts, BUT...that's no excuse. I walked in for a N95 mask fitting. I arrived at 11:19am. It's 1:20pm and I still haven't been seen. I've asked three times what's causing such a delay and all I get is their busy doing physicals. Sooooo, that means that it's ok for me to be skipped. called to question when to come in to get my results for a skin test. i was questioning when to come in since i work a majority of the 24h window that's stated, not to mention it's a holiday so I have plans and, sorry, these Concentra places are sketchy to begin with so I don't wanna go anytime after 8 PM. when questioning when to come in, or asking for other alternatives, all the lady on the phone said was, "oh so you work 24 hours so you can't come in?" in a ridiculous attitude. Keep in mind. My boyfriend went to Concentra recently and him and I were treated very disrespectfully. I wasn't allowed to see the Dr with my boyfriend to ask questions. Then they were short staffed and use that as an excuse as to why my boyfriend was going to have to wait for an X-ray of his shoulder. We live far away from that location and they expected us to drive all that way back. We basically had to argue with them to give us a order for an X-ray outside of using concentra. They finally after us both being disrespected on how much knowledge we had got us the paperwork and that was that. Oh also he wasn't given anything for his pain except naproxen which you can buy over the counter. I overall wouldn't recommend this Concentra based on our experience and how we were treated. My boyfriend deserves better care somewhere else. read more

My husband got injured at work today. So I went to pick him at work and bring him to urgent care. A very rude front office lady they told me that because I wasn't the patient, I couldn't wait inside, I had to wait outside. It's Arizona middle of the day 100 degrees and I can't wait inside. Oh and I've been waiting outside for over a hour! We got here at 11:45am and it's now 1:04pm. Very rude and disrespectful customer service. The hospitals are open to have visitors so why is this urgent care not welcoming visitors!!!! We will never come here again. I suggest go elsewhere to get treated!!! read more

I was cleaning my yard and had the bad luck to step on a rusty nail. I couldn't remember when my last tetanus shot was and decided to contact my doctor. It was after hours and they recommended that I visit an urgent care. I checked my insurance card and it sent me to several...I picked concentra. I had been here a few times before and felt it was a good spot. I walked in and it seemed a great time...no lines or full waiting area. I walked up to the counter and everything felt normal...until.... The girl at the counter asked me about Covid and checked my temperature. I answered yes to being tested months ago and that it was negative. She asked for proof of my negative test and I replied that I had not received a paper receipt but could search for my email receipt. I have asthma and suffer from chronic cough that tends to get worst in the winter. I happened to cough and that set off a tsunami of fear that was visible and evident by this person's immediate retreat. She ran to the back office and returned only to tell me that I needed to "fill out my paperwork outside because it was getting kinda full in the lobby" look at the pictures...maybe 2-3 people waiting to be seen. I felt so discriminated against and I let her know that it would be wise to get her Covid facts straight. A fever is not proof and according to doctors...many people don't even show symptoms. A cough is not concrete proof of Covid-19. A person with a common cold or flu could also have a cough or fever for that matter. I am not making Covid less of a concern but some folks have no concept of universal precautions. I am wearing my mask (although I don't truly believe it makes a huge difference) keep my hands away from my mouth, nose and eyes. I keep my distance and constantly wash my hands. This person made me feel like I was on fire! Very unprofessional and rude! Hopefully I dont sit here for hours because they are afraid to catch Covid-19 from a perdon who does not have it. I was randomly tested at my job in September of this year. I gave this place one star because the yound lady that took my vitals was very polite and professional. Took forever and they ended up not doing anything. Wife and I were there for 3 hours and they were so rude. The doctor there was definitely under qualified and offered very poor judgment while providing zero solutions while my wife was in pain. Sent her home and told her to take Tylenol, but couldn't give her Tylenol herself. Unfortunately this place will waste your time, not help, and will judge and not trust everyone. GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR TIME. Would give 0 stars if I could. On monday they made me wait for 6 hours to get stitches on my pinky. I sat there and watched people get there after me, get checked out by a doctor and checked out hours before I even saw a doctor. The cut was bad enough for the doctor to be surprised that they didn't triage me to the front of the line. Today I had an appointment at 3:30 to have my pinky checked, and I ended up rescheduling at 4:15 because I was still just sitting there with absolutely no information. Given what happened on monday, I was not trying to waste yet another day just waiting. The nurses here don't give two shits, and the doctors take their damn time checking patients out. I watched them take 30 minutes to clean a room that could have taken any competent person not even 5 minutes to clean. Plus this isn't the first time. I was here last June for a laceration on my wrist that should have gotten stitches. It was 1 in the fucking morning and I was there until 4. Once i got back there, the doctor didn't even stitch it, she fucking glued it, and it took 3 times the amount of time to heal, and healed weird. And guess what, the check up for that ALSO got delayed. This place is a joke, do not come here. read more

I came here for chest pains, in tears! They took me to a room right away which was nice but after my tests and exams, before a doctor even came to discuss with me what was going on I was bombarded to pay my copay by some random lady. I asked why I was being asked for that before I've even had a doctor come tell me if I'm okay or not and she literally rolled her eyes and closed the door. Then a young gentleman came in and said I had an issue with the copay!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!!
