I had a great experience with Irene Torres. I got bit by a dog just above my lip. I had to get 7…read morestitches. I was very worried about getting them taken out because I know it can be very painful because I knew how tight the stitches were and how sensitive the area was. I went in to get them removed, and she told me originally to wait another day or two, but when I told her how concerned I was about who did it, she called me back to tell me that she had contacted the other NP that would be there that day to ask her how she felt about removing the stitches, and she didn't feel comfortable doing it. Irene researched the amount of time needed to leave the stitches in to make sure it would be ok to remove them that day, and said that I would be fine to come back that day while she was there. It showed how much she truly cares about her patients. She did an excellent job with the removal, and I had very little pain. I was so relieved to have them out, and it's still healing up nicely. Irene has years of experience, is very kind and does a great job. CVS is lucky to have her! Thanks again!

Did an okay to pretty good job. $165 for first visit and had to come back a few days later and it was $40 follow up. Tri care is a real piece of work, they did some shady stuff to cancel insurance in first place. So here we are and the wait was long. And it helps to register online and pre register. We went there and they did the ultrasound for five seconds, I saw my kid and she immediately moved the device over to make it seem like theres no baby. Then she immediately pushed a transvaginal ultrasound and made while hissy fuss about it when my girl, who remind you has anxiety issues and brought this up to the doctor as well, didnt wanna do it. Had an anxiety attack and we left. Theres so many more minor details to this but I'm not gonna get into it. Women if you want a good place to get ultrasounds and prenatal. Go to the womens care center off Lasalle Ave. It's so much better there than that shithole that pretends that they know what they're doing.

We were there as a walk-in, and we were there about 2 hours. That was to be expected. The staff were great. The doctor was wonderful. The perfect mix of concern/attention/professionalism and humor to allay our worst fears. He told us to bring her back on Saturday to follow up, just to be certain that she was gonna be ok. The receptionist told us that we could go to their save my spot website to make an appointment for this follow up visit. So, on Friday, we went to the local Senior Center to use their computer to 'save my spot'. As directed, we arrived 15 minutes ahead of our 'saved' time. It was another hour & 30 minutes before we saw the Doctor. The Doctor is Great! The staff are friendly. They would get 5+ stars. It was really aggravating that we went out of our way to comply with the 'online' registry and it didn't matter one iota.

These labs really need to hire people with more experience, do some training or at the very least have a seasoned phlebotomist that can access veins that are not typically used. So tired of having to get stuck 5 to 6 different times just to have to leave to either go somewhere else or wait days passed the time my labs are due in order to get someone who knows what they are doing.
