They originally told me it would take a week to do the editing for some videos i gave them. when i called back a week later they informed me that they hadn't even started on it because "we had some big projects come in since the last time we talked"... They actually admitted to making other customers a priority over me even though i had hired them first. I also sent them an email with specific instructions on how i wanted the videos edited, witch they told me they read but obviously didn't, because the end result was just a very tone deaf, unimaginative effort with no attention given to detail what so ever. very underwhelming quality , disgraceful customer service and in the end, every person i ended up talking to lied to me. read more

Dropped off my box of 30+ videos and film reels to have transferred to digital format. Linda was very responsive with information when I inquired about my project. Brandon took my order in and was also informative about the best format. I received the finished product when promised - it's amazing to see my videos AND film reels from my parents - converting these was the best money I've ever spent! Nope....only use Concept One Media. I needed 100 copies of an mp3 file of my wedding video (1.1GB/10mins) duplicated fast to give to guests. At The Digital Convert, I was quoted a $15 authoring fee (still not sure what that is) + $2.25-$3.50/disc (they finalized w/$2.25) + a 20% rush fee if needed w/in 48hrs, for a total of: ~$287.75 + an additional fee if I wanted an image printed on the dvd. I also would have to bring a copy of my wedding video contract and all my materials in person to them. At CO, they literally sent me a link to upload all my materials to them so I wouldn't have to travel, offered to make an mp3 to DVD p no comparison.... and they guarantee awesome quality. Yes CO is a bit out of the way in Downer's Grove, IL, but they deliver for cheap. I gave DC 2 stars bc the the customer service rep was very amiable, but at CO the personelle, price and timing is right! read more

I worked w/ Ben Mathews at Concept One - OUTSTANDING!!! I put together a video for our 50th. wedding anniversary and the years before we were married - 52 years of pictures, VHS tapes, slides, pictures some as old or older than 80 years and DVDs - in addition I used U tube videos and music CDs - the project was done professionally and exceeded any expectations I had - quality was outstanding. Most importantly Ben worked with me to get to know my feelings on the project, he got to know me so as to do a better job putting the video together. Ben worked w/ me after hours to get the video exactly as I wanted - never questioned any changes I made, and I did make many!!!! The feeling I got was that Ben and the other people who worked on the project were working for me and not just doing a project. Concept One gave me an estimate and the project did not exceed that quote. Concept One did a professional job, treated me as though my project was their main concern and the cost was far less than I thought it might have been, they honored their quote. Purchased a Groupon to transfer VHS tapes onto DVD and couldn't be happier with the service. Needed them done in a rush, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. We hired Concept One to do our photobooth for our wedding f! We had a fantastic experience!! We got married on 7/21 and our photobooth attendant, Anthony called us earlier that week to finalize details. From the first time I spoke with him he made me feel confident that our photobooth would run smoothly. I asked questions and he was extremely nice with answering them and gave us good advice about which option of photobooth we should choose. When Anthony arrived at our wedding, he looked extremely professional and was very accommodating. We requested to put pictures of our dogs out for people to use as photobooth props and he made sure to get them from us and keep them out for people to use which was important to us because we love our dogs and wanted to incorporate them in the wedding. My guests also commented on how nice and patient he was since many of our guests went back multiple times to take pictures. I never had to check in with him about the positioning of the camera or if things were working right. As a bride, you are pulled in so many different directions in your wedding day and it's so helpful when you can trust your vendors to make things run smoothly. My husband and I took photobooth pictures with our dog props at one point during the night because we wanted a "family" picture together on our wedding day. As Anthony left at the end of the evening, he showed us that he had taken one of shots we took, blew it up to a bigger size and told us that he was putting it on the front of our wedding scrapbook. Wow!! While this seems like no big deal, it spoke volumes to us. The fact that he picked up on something special to us and went the extra mile to include that in such a personal way meant so much to us! Throughout the whole process Anthony was polite and so awesome to work with! We told him we ordered a meal for him at the wedding and he said, "Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!" It wasn't as if he felt that we owed him that, as many vendors do, he knew we didn't have to and was very gracious that we paid for a meal for him. The whole time we felt as though he was honored to be there as part of our special day, and not that he just HAD to be there because it's his job. We brought a number of 8mm film to have tranferred to DVD and they lost all of the tapes. We called numerous times and they never once called us first. Just said they couldn't find and we were sure we brought them even though we had a receipt for the tapes. I would not use them, seemed disorganized and over burdened. read more
