I got some pictures of what I was aiming for and yelped the highest rated hair salon near me and found 1535 Hair Salon. I saw Gerrie (Beatrice) celebrated twice so I requested her. She was able to fit me in the same day! I emphasized that I wanted the front of my hair long and the back short. Gerrie listened to me and said we would start with the back and would check in as we went to see if I wanted shorter. It was great that she was listening and would work with me! Gerrie did have quite a few interruptions as people talked to her, a popular lady. Gerrie talked nonstop and told me stories about her friends. I saw Gerrie wrapping my hair around so my Bob would be symmetrical. For the most part it was except the very front. Which I can fix later if it still bothers me. My hair looks much better then it did all in all. Thank you!

I left 2 hours early from work to be on time for my hair color appointment only to be met with the hair stylist Autumn Mccumber running behind by "about 30 minutes" as she had said. Okay, that's fine I'll politely wait the 30 minutes--I understand things may not be going smoothly--but to have ended up waiting 1.5 hour and even longer had I stayed--THAT is just utterly rude. At the hour wait I came back and she mentioned a few more minutes and that dragged to another 30 minutes in which I got up saying "I'm sorry I have to leave I've been waiting long enough" only to be replied with "okay hon--" and given an excuse about COVID and how all appointment have been this way. The thing is Autumn is not some inexperienced hair stylist. She is talented and work well with colors--so she should have had some idea of how long it will take her clients. Instead of making me wait, she should have told me the honest truth "hey hon, I'm running behind about 2 hours, would you like to wait or reschedule. I apologize for any inconvenience." Instead, she put on a friendly face and lied to me about wait times, gave me a louse excuse about running behind, AND GAVE NO APOLOGY. I'm sure she's expecting a review from me, and I'm sure as hell going to give it. TO AUTUMN: PLEASE RESPECT YOUR FUTURE CLIENT'S TIME AND THE APPOINTMENT TIMES YOU PROVIDE. AND NEXT TIME--APOLOGIZE AND DON'T COVER UP YOUR MESS WITH COVID EXCUSES.

I recommended her to a co-worker, and while a haircut will take a long time, it's done right. She washes, cuts, blow dries, straightens, and cuts again so everything lays right. I brought my kid here to get his hair cut, and she did amazing fade work. I haven't colored my hair in years, but if I want any type of color (funky or natural), Autumn is who I trust to do it right.
