This doesn't make sense since I had my hair colored 2 years ago and I was perfect . The color barely showed up on my hair. She told me it would take a while to show. This makes no sense ,since I had my hair colored previously and it was perfect. After I had real looked at my hair when I got home I saw little to no difference I called the next day to let her know i was not satisfied. She offered no resolution other than come back in a few weeks and pay again. SMH. I would not compromise my locs again that soon. And she did not offer any discount. I wasted my money and I am extremely disappointed.

I went in for a hair wash, blow dry and trim. My hair was washed twice (she scrubbed in the same 2…read morespots). The conditioner was put on and rinsed out. No massaging it, combing it through or sitting me under the dryer or steam. My hair was trimmed after it was blown dry. I figured a trim on not straight hair ok maybe this is a new technique. My hair looks just like it did yesterday a dang mess and uneven; cannot tell it was trimmed at all. It looks like split ends. Part of the right side was jacked up from when I took my braids outs. I own that. As the stylist instead of trying to get me to get a silk press she should've made a suggestion to see if I was remotely interested in fixing it which would've resulted in a hair cut. At least give me the option. I chose a trim because that was needed. My hair is natural and that has never been an issue before yesterday with a stylist. With the hair just blown dry how could you possibly make a fair assessment of my hair. When I called back today at spoke with Yomila (the stylist) she was rude and had a serious tone. When the call first started I was calm and expressive of my issues. She continued to come at me about my natural hair, how my hair won't be even all around etc. As I stated to her that isn't the issue. The issue is a trim shows a precise edge. The trim looks like abstract art at best. I could've done what she did. She kept pushing the silk press. I told her in this weather a silk press is not going to hold up with the type of hair I have. But had she took the time to assess the hair once again that is something she would've known. Furthermore, I'm old school if you ain't using a Marcel on my hair forget about it. She would've been ok to use a flat iron to get it straight and do a proper trim. I've never had a trim like this before. Even if I wanted to go to have it corrected...I'm not after her tude n tone. This was my first time visiting…read more Positives: The salon itself was very welcoming and had a nice aesthetic. The person at the front desk was very friendly and so was my aesthetician. The private room was very calming and relaxing while having my facial and I felt very relaxed when I left. Negatives: the facial itself didn't yield any results for me. I had a hydrafacial, with my main areas of concern being hydration and to help with the signs of aging. Unfortunately neither occurred. My face was smoother and brighter for maybe 2 days afterwards but it was also very tight and dry. The fine lines around my eyes and mouth were more pronounced and noticeable than they were before. I did see a temporary reduction in blackheads around my nose, but less than a week later, my skin was back to being dry, dull and flaky like it was before. UPDATE: Two weeks later and my skin is breaking out like crazy and peeling in some places. I have texture where I didn't have it before. It looks worse than before I went.
